I'm a photographer and I work throughout the week three to four hours here and there. But pet care is my original love and passion and I make it a priority to make sure your pet is loved and cared for. If looking for 24 hour stay with overnight, a typical schedule looks like a morning walk with feedings, midday walk (can be more than one, please indicate needs in any communication), an evening walk with dinner then finally I'll stay with your pet in your home or if boarding dog will stay at my home in a crate or bed provided. Please be aware that I do not work from home and work outside with other pet visits and photography jobs. This means if you need more time with longer stays or you need around the clock full 24 hr care, there will be additional costs.

Each service I offer depends on schedule but when taking care of your pet I make sure that your routine is honored in the best way for everyone. Your pet is a priority and we will make sure they are comfortable and feel safe. From the toys they love to the food they eat, it will all remain the same. I want to just be another family member staying and taking care of your pet. My hope is that it will be like you never left.

I need to know all the house rules! Does the dog sleep in the bed? What are the dogs normal sleeping and peeing times? How much food does the dog get and does he gets into anything? Any quirks that I should be aware of? Any allergies? Or medical needs or past medical issues, like seizures or hives? Are there treats/toys the dog shouldn't have? What areas of the house is the dog allowed? Anything and everything so I can make my stay go as smoothly as possible!

I love having fun with your pet! Doing what they love, especially cuddling if thats what enjoy. Playing outside, going for walks, throwing a toy, making sniff mats, etc. Schedule is always important. A normal 24 hours will be a morning walk, midday walk (could be two or three depending on needs indicated at our meet and greet) then an evening walk with an overnight stay. Walks will be around 30 mins to an hour based on honoring my own and the pets normal schedule, with extras and park visits, per your request. If you'd like your dog to go for hikes or the dog park, I'm happy to accommodate.

I am an animal lover to the core! I have always been the crazy dog lady! I have always had dogs in my life I would not want it any other way. I walked dogs in Arlington for over four years. Many of my clients families become friends and like family to me! Dogs have always been very important to me. They even were my reason I went to school for photography! I love photographing my clients and finding new ways to photograph Why I love dog walking and sitting? I have had dogs all my life. When I moved to Northern Virginia and I immediately knew I wanted to walk dogs or do anything with dogs! Since then I have been walking dogs for over 14 years! I can administer medication and have been certified in the past in animal first aid/cpr.

This is the 2nd time that Danielle has dog sat and house sat for us and our senior dog. She is wonderful and we will book her again!!
Danielle did an excellent job caring for our senior dog and our house while we were away. She sent lots of pictures and updates. We would definitely book her again!
Amazing help while I was injured. Took sick kitty to the vet. Shopped for more litter. Extended while I was in rehab. Very supportive and great with the kitties.
