About: Hi! I’ve had a dog since I was a toddler and I’ve always been fascinated by dogs/pets, and caring for them. I love spending time with them, playing, walking and having fun! I’ve always considered them an extended part of my family, which makes me understand how importante they are in our lives and that they have needs just like everyone does! About: Ever since I adopted my 5 year old son Lentil he has been the joy and light of my life. I have learned so much about what goes into giving a dog a healthy, fun, loving fulfilling life. More importantly I pour all the love I have into everything I have to give to Lentil, whether it’s in the meals I prepare for him everyday, the car rides I take him on, our trips to the park where we play fetch and roll in the grass or our snuggle sessions before bed at the end of our long days. I will give your fur babies the same love, attention and quality of care that I give my very own lentil and treat them just like family. Given that I have Lentil, pet care is a part of my daily life, everything I do revolves around it. I adjust my other life activities to fit in to Lentil’s schedule that takes priority so that I can cater to Lentil’s every need in life first and then address all other responsibilities. Are some more fitting for more active play while others are more catered to more mellow play? Do you have a fenced in back yard or do we need to go to a dog park? How often does your dog like to step out for fresh air/walks and how long should these walks be? Is your dog one that likes to be close contact or one that likes to show affection from afar and enjoys their personal space? Amber couldn’t have been a better pet sitter. I have two cats and two dogs and all of them have strong personalities. Amber went above and beyond to take good care of them, including climbing a fence to get one of my cats out of a tree. She was very communicative, and she sent lots of pictures that gave me comfort. My cats and dogs looked happy and healthy throughout my entire trip, which was nearly 2 weeks. When I came home, I found that she had left me a very nice note, and everything was as I had left it. I will definitely use Amber again.
Amanda has house/dog sat for our two pups for the last couple of years, and she is simply the best. YASMEEN IS AWESOME!! Yasmeen cared for my two cats and my home for two and a half weeks while I was out of the country. I cannot say enough good things about her. At our meet and greet, she was warm and friendly and asked excellent questions. Any anxiety I had about being gone for so long disappeared after meeting Yasmeen. While I was gone, Yasmeen was proactive in sending updates, pictures and video of the cats. One had just started needing medicine with her meals, and Yasmeen handled that with ease. I could tell from the video updates that my cats felt comfortable with her - and in fact one of them shared lots of cuddles and play time. When I returned, my house was just as I left it, and the cats were happy and healthy. I'm sure they miss her! I am so grateful to Yasmeen and will definitely work with her again!
Clare did a fantastic job house sitting and watching our dog for 12 days. She kept us well informed and shared lots of pictures so we could see how he was doing every day. When the power went out for an extended period, she was on top of things and even offered to take our dog to her home until power returned. Jessica was terrific about helping us out at the last minute with house sitting while my 99 year old mother was in the hospital, and her discharge was quite delayed. Jessica stayed with our English Setter to make sure he could snuggle with her and be taken out for walks in our fenced backyard.
