During the week, I work from my office in downtown DC, typically from 10 AM to around 4 PM. If your dog is social and comfortable around people and other pups, they're welcome to join me in my dog-friendly office. Alternatively, I can swing by home during lunch breaks for some quality time. For shorter stays, I'm flexible and can work from home to ensure your pet feels secure and cared for.

I have two cats which will be in private rooms for the duration of your pets stay. My cats are not unfriendly, however I am big on responsible introductions which may take longer than time allows. Aside from the bedroom, your pet will have free range of my apartment. I respect your pet's routine and preferences, whether they prefer a cozy crate or free roam. When caring for pets in your home, I adapt to their needs and routines. Whether it's regular walks, playtime, or visits to the dog park, I'm here to keep your pet happy and comfortable. I'm experienced in house sitting and drop-in visits, and understand everyone has their own preferences that I am happy to adapt to.

Whether that's going to the park for a long walk or visiting friends at the dog park, I am always happy to get out the house for some fresh air and exercise. If your pet prefers indoor activities, we'll have plenty of fun with interactive playtime and relaxing together. I love capturing moments, so expect lots of fun photos and videos, along with a daily "report card" full of updates on our activities and your pet's well-being.

Amber is amazing. She took exceptional care of our three maine coon cats, including our elderly cat who required medication. They received lots of love and attention while we were away and her pictures and visit reports were wonderful. I highly recommend Amber.
This is the third time we have booked Amber for drop-in visits. She is an excellent pet sitter. Our dog is nervous around strangers. Amber has made him feel at ease and he looks forward to seeing her. She communicates frequently and always sends photos. We very much appreciate Amber and will definitely book her again.
