About: I have always been a reliable neighbor in taking care of their pets when needed wether that would be extended periods of time or once. Pet care fits into my daily routine as I care for my pets at home as well as in college for animals from local shelters. I will make sure that they are not forgotten. I will make sure they’re fed, clean, loved and hydrated. They will feel right at home!

About: Grew up with both dogs and cats and learned to read the little ways they communicate. I'll be sure to treat them as my own but under your specific guidance and instruction, making sure they're comfortable and cared for while you're away. I can get them moving, tucker them out, or just give them belly pats until you're home—either way, I'm sure they'll have fun! I'm a writer by day, which basically means I'm 'unemployed.' But this is great for you because I'll have plenty of time for your pets! (Not so great for the gas bill however...) It also means I have a very flexible schedule and can bend to your scheduling needs. I'm certain we can work out a time that works for both of us. I was in the Navy and the NSA and held a Top-Secret Clearance for over six years. (They don't just give those things out to anyone.) But if that's not enough to get you to feel safe, I'm also CPR certified, was an EMT, and have experience watching pets of family and friends for years and nothing bad has ever happened.

About: I've had 2 dogs in the family for 10+ years now and understand the challenges of wanting the best exercise for your best friend while being very busy. Aside from that, I've had/have bunnies, birds and a cat and am expert in cat body language, bird calls and bunny thumps - so you can say I'm multi-lingual and very safety-conscientious (: Please never hesitate to ask me questions or for any updates on your baby - I'm always ready to send a quick text back or send pictures! I also want to say that i'm down to care for almost any pet - cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, rats, etc. 🥰 My only exceptions would be anything venomous or feeding live/dead feed (bugs, rats to snakes). My best times to walk are during lunchtime (12-2) or after work hours (past 5PM). I can also pet sit/drop in on your pets at anytime. ☺️ My pets get daily enrichment with an abundance of toys that get switched out pretty often. I'm also researching/watching videos on how to better take care of our friends! For dog walking, it'll depend on your preference - I'm flexible.

About: Ever since I adopted my 5 year old son Lentil he has been the joy and light of my life. I have learned so much about what goes into giving a dog a healthy, fun, loving fulfilling life. More importantly I pour all the love I have into everything I have to give to Lentil, whether it’s in the meals I prepare for him everyday, the car rides I take him on, our trips to the park where we play fetch and roll in the grass or our snuggle sessions before bed at the end of our long days. I will give your fur babies the same love, attention and quality of care that I give my very own lentil and treat them just like family. Given that I have Lentil, pet care is a part of my daily life, everything I do revolves around it. I adjust my other life activities to fit in to Lentil’s schedule that takes priority so that I can cater to Lentil’s every need in life first and then address all other responsibilities. In terms of availability for drop ins and walks I am available for the 6am-11 am window, the 11am-3pm window and the 3pm-10pm window. In terms of house sitting at your house, I am available everyday of the week unless booked by a rover client. In your home I will take into account everything made available to take great care of your fur baby. What toys are available? When are certain toys used at what part of the day? Are some more fitting for more active play while others are more catered to more mellow play? Do you have a fenced in back yard or do we need to go to a dog park? How often does your dog like to step out for fresh air/walks and how long should these walks be? Is your dog one that likes to be close contact or one that likes to show affection from afar and enjoys their personal space? Once your fur baby is in my care I will gather all of the info I need to make sure I can give the best care I can give catered to your dog’s unique temperament/needs and personality.

At your place, I'll be in and out according to your instructions--your house; your rules! Anything in there other than your pet is not my business--I'll respect your space, no worries. At my place we have a large grassy area out back, a big gated deck for sunning, and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood. We have a variety of gates if any separation is necessary in my house, and your pet can even have the sunny finished basement all to themself if you prefer.

I love all animals, & I have a sweet cat named Pippa that I love to spoil here in Northern Virginia.
