I apprenticed for a year as a positive reinforcement dog trainer, where I honed my skills in encouraging good behavior and managing challenging situations. I’m passionate about ensuring that every pup in my care feels safe, happy, and well-cared-for. I’ve been a had dogs since I was 13. While I adore all pups, rescues hold a special place in my heart. My current furry friend is a big softie who had a rough past, so I’m experienced in handling dogs with anxiety and other behavioral challenges. Thanks in part to my apprenticeship, I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, including senior dogs. What I Offer: - Personalized Walks: Whether your dog needs a quick stroll or a long, energy-burning jog, I’m up for it! I enjoy hiking in my free time and can take high-energy dogs on longer adventures. - Mental Stimulation: I can bring along food puzzles and other enrichment activities to keep your dog’s mind engaged. - Experience with Senior Dogs: I’m attentive to the needs of older dogs and can tailor our time together based on their energy levels and mobility. I strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for every dog, no matter their limitations. I recently had to say my final goodbye to my senior pup, and am very familiar with senior needs. - Experience with Anxious Dogs: Having worked with dogs that have had rough starts, I’m patient and understanding of their needs. I aim to create a calm and positive environment for them. I’m dedicated to making sure every dog in my care feels loved, safe, and like they are hanging out with a trusted friend. I also want owners to feel comfortable and happy with their dogs in my care. While not necessary, I highly recommend meet-and-greets prior to our first booking so that we may all get properly acquainted!
