About: I offer a calm, attentive, and personalized care experience for both cats and dogs in the Tysons, McLean, and Great Falls area. With over 6 years of combined experience, I take time to understand each pet’s rhythm — from gentle brushing and quiet companionship to playful moments and frequent photo updates. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I work from home, so I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pets and give them lots of love and attention. On weekends, I love being outdoors—if your dog enjoys adventures, I’d be happy to bring them along for some fun and fresh air! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely, keep the environment safe and clean, and treat your space with care. I provide regular photo updates so you always feel connected. I occasionally offer boarding at my home for small dogs and cats who can peacefully coexist with my friendly resident cat. I do slow, careful introductions to ensure a stress-free stay. Please note that I do not board large dogs.
“I wish I could give 10 stars to Karen and her family! Our dog, Casey, is a rescue who is a bit anxious when he is away from us, but we didn’t need to worry. Karen kept us updated and we could sense how happy Casey was during his stay. I highly recommend Karen; I know she will be our first choice for a “home away from home” for our dog!!!”

“Jason and Becky gave my dog the highest level of attention and care. My dog is a shepherd mix with relatively high energy. They took the best care of him while I was gone for a few days.”

“Musa and his family are wonderful with our dog, who can be quite quirky. He was extremely excited to see Musa when I dropped him off... which has never happened with a sitter before. Thank you for caring for him so well!”

“My dog Tako was extremely well taken care of and I got frequent updates. Shanilka was very easy to communicate with and she was very flexible as my travel plans changed due to the weather. I will absolutely be using her again if I ever need!”
“My 2 dogs have stayed with Byamba and his family multiple times now and it's always been an excellent experience-- both for myself and my dogs! They are always well taken care of and I have the utmost trust in continuing to book with Byamba.”

“Leslie is THE BEST! We were a little worried because this was the first time we left our dog with someone new, but after doing a meet and greet we knew our dog Roxy would be in great hands. During the stay she sent us plenty of pictures and videos updates and Roxy was smiling on them haha we could tell she was happy and enjoying her time with Leslie. She took her on walks, concert, dog park and gave her plenty of cuddles, which Roxy is a big fan! I would/will recommend Leslie to friends and family and here too! She will be the best person to take care of your furry baby with lots of love and fun! Again, thank you Leslie!!!”

“Highly recommend! John took such good care of our dog Bandit while we were away. Even with the cold temperatures I knew he was taken out for walks multiple times and dressed accordingly. John updated me daily with photos and information about Bandits day. I knew he was spoiled and loved on the entire 9 days we were away. I also appreciated the fact that Bandit had company all day, everyday.”

“We booked with Lina for an emergency trip and thankfully she was available! It was Theo’s first time with her and her family and we felt at ease knowing he was in excellent hands on a vacation of his own. Thank you Lina and family for taking care of Theo!!”

“José was very careful to make sure he learned what Hazel liked and needed. He and his family provided a very calm and loving home for my anxious dog. The stay worked out well.”

“Jorge and Alejandra were AMZAZING!! I have a very anxious girl (dog) Roo and they made sure she was very comfortable and felt right at home! They were great about sending updates and putting my mind at ease! Roo had a great time and was very tired when she came home! I felt very comfortable with her staying with them! They truly treated her like part of the family and I will be contacting them when needed again!”

“Shi is an excellent dog sitter. I cannot recommend highly enough. My Pittie was very well looked after--brought on walks, given his daily medicine, and entertained all day by Shi, his kids, and his beautiful, friendly Bernese Mountain Dog. I feel very comfortable leaving my boy with Shi again in the future.”

“Cheyenne was amazing! She kept up with my high energy dog and they went on so many walks. He was definitely spoiled the whole time which will make me want to take him back again and again.”

“This is the second time we have left our Newfie with Andrew and his family. Once again our Millie was treated like a Queen. She obviously received lots of attention as she was hesitant to leave when I came to pick her up. I just booked her next stay.”

“Ron was great! He took my dog on several long walks each day and texted me photos so I could see her enjoying herself on the local trails. Ron's own dog, Loki, is mellow, sweet, and the perfect canine "co-host!"”

“Nalleli and her family took wonderful care of our 15 yr old dog, Kiki. She was loved, had lots of cuddles and snacks and was very happy at Nalleli. I appreciate the care that Nalleli provided and look forward to booking her again to look after our pup when we’re away.”

“Aly took such good care of Duffy! She provided us daily updates and photos of him. We can tell he had a great time with Aly! We’re so glad to found such a trustworthy babysitter for Duffy!”

About: I've had a dog in my home my entire life, and am always the one my friends/family turn to if they need someone to look after their pets. I have also fostered multiple dogs with leash reactivity, and have had some 1-1 work with an R+ (positive reinforcement) trainer to ensure pups can have the best experience out and about in the world while still getting their sniffs and exercise in. I occasionally run outside so I can offer to run with your pup(s) 1-2 times a week if you'd like, and I live 5 minutes away from Baron Cameron park if you like for them to play with other pups during the day at a dog park as well. Or of course we can just snuggle most of the day while I work from home. Well either way there will be lots of snuggles and pets... My last dog passed away in 2025 after a year long battle with cancer, so I have no problem giving medicine and making sure we stay on a strict schedule with food/medicine if that is what your dog needs. I look forward to becoming your pup's new best friend! I work part-time from home. I'm available for day-sitting while you're at work or overnight boarding when you're out of town. I'm typically up by 7:30, have a fenced in backyard, go on walks/runs throughout the day and love going to the dog park if your pup enjoys it! I have a 6 foot fence in my backyard that your pup can play around in. Take 2-3 x 25 minute walks around the neighborhood throughout the day and can occasionally go for 30-60 minute jogs if your pup enjoys more exercise (1-2/week)
“Mario took such great care of Luna!! He kept me updated throughout her stay and sent lots of pictures :) will definitely be booking with him again next time I go out of town!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Belleview
We had the pleasure of having Loreen S. watch our dog for 4 days and nights. What a joy it was to have her and her family taking care of our beloved dog. She sent us pictures and videos of her and her family lovingly taking care of her all the time. We loved getting them! It was such a relief to know that she was being so well care for. We recommend her to anyone who loves their dog and who wants to be assured that their dog will be lovingly cared for.

Jason and Becky were absolutely amazing with Teddie! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. They sent so many pictures and regular updates throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see how much fun he was having. Teddie had the best time going to the dog park, playing with their two wonderful dogs, and getting lots of love and attention. It was clear they treated him like one of their own, and he came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We are so grateful for the incredible care they gave him and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again. We highly recommend Jason and Becky to anyone looking for caring, reliable sitters. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our boy! 🐾

We had a great experience with Youyou! She took wonderful care of my dog and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout his stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. My dog seemed happy and comfortable, and we truly appreciate all the love and attention she gave him. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to other pet parents🩵

When I dropped Brogan to stay for a little over 2 weeks, he needed 2 oral meds, 1 topical cream, and his scheduled heartworm/tick/flea pill. Ron and Gretchen took that all in stride. And they also dealt well with Brogan's quirks, to include velcro-ing to Gretchen. Brogan enjoyed having a small pack to hang with during his stay with the other boarders and daycare pups.

Frankie (Shi) always takes such good care of Lucy! He's home with her most of the time and she loves playing with his kids and dog (Jealous). She always comes back happy, CLEARLY LOVED, and clean! I'm never worried about her getting the right food and meds. Despite watching my difficult breed (Belgian Malinois), he knows the right things to do and will put her first turning down sittings if there's even a change of an issue. Plus, I love getting his pictures and daily updates. All in all, I never have to worry about Lucy when I'm away. Highly recommend!!

Cheyenne did an incredible job taking care of my pup while I was away for five days. They had a blast playing and staying active, and it was evident when I returned home. He was exhausted in the best way possible. Cheyenne was very responsive and kept me updated throughout the week. I highly recommend her.

Ruidi took wonderful care of my pitbull mix Sunny. She sent lots of nice pictures during the stay, and she took the time to cook yummy chicken and broccoli for Sunny to enjoy. Sunny usually eats dog food. So I'm sure this was a lovely vacation for her. Ruidi is a loving and caring dogsitter, and I would recommend her!

Daisy enjoyed her "girls' weekend" with Bijiao! They went on frequent walks and snuggled up together on Bijiao's sofa. I knew Daisy was content because I could see it in the photos of her that Bijiao sent me--especially the ones that showed Daisy stretched out on her back, anticipating a belly rub! Daisy will happily stay with Bijiao again in the future.

Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
