About: We are a dependable mother–daughter pet sitting team with 30 years of combined pet care and training experience. We have cared for a wide variety of animals, including small and large dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds, fish, and other pets. We have puppy training experience and know how to gently reinforce good habits, routines, and leash manners -- through TLC and patience, gentle handling and understanding that every pet has its own personality, pace, and needs. We are energetic pet owners ourselves and are comfortable exercising pets in both urban and suburban settings. We treat every pet with the same loving care, attention, and affection we give our own. We are currently working flexible hours and one of us is out of school for the summer, so we have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pups! We are experienced dog walkers comfortable caring for pets in urban, suburban, park, and country settings. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, park outings, or a calmer pace, we adjust to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For pet sitting in our home, we have a gated kitchen area where pets can stay safely with us, as well as a fenced patio where they can get fresh air and companionship. “Barb, The Relief Every Pet Owner Needs Over the years, I grew increasingly scared to leave my 3 cats in a stranger's care. If needed I always drove them to my parents but it became clear that the roadtrip stressed them out more than if I had just left them at home and had a stranger come by the house. As a 1st time Rover user, Barb was a perfect find! She made the whole process unbelievably breezy. She very punctual to the meet and greet she set up the same day I sent my request. I ran her through the cat's litter and feeding schedule and already felt good about her. Immediately after this meet and greet, she sent me a screenshot of the notes she took afterwards which were notes on the food/water/litter instructions we had discussed for the brief meet. This really sealed it for me; not only did Barb exhibit great memory recall but also great attention to detail which is certainly needed in pet care. I had Barb check in twice a day for my 3 cats for a total of 9 days. She is very punctual to the times discussed and an expert with sending photos of furry loved ones to ease anxieties. She also made sure I was made aware of any event that occurred immediately in the Rover Card for that very check-in time. When responding to her or asking her questions she was quick and attentive with her responses. One of my cats loves to escape and is a bit of a "queen of the house" type of cat so she gets a bit protective of "her home" and after giving Barb some tips and tricks in what we do, my cat became calmer and more accepting of Barb as more check-ins occurred. They grew closer towards the end which is a testament of Barb's personality and care qualities. My other 2 cats are shy ones so there was a worry that we wouldn't be able to confirm if they were eating or not. But eventually Barb's calm and gentle presence coaxed them out enough to be spotted for a food grab or a hydration stop every now and then. Overall, having Barb as a first time Rover sitter and first time pet sitter was a perfect match and I feel lucky to have had her watching over my pets.”

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I am generally available on weekdays and weekends with flexible hours. Monday–Friday: 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM Weekends: Available all day (morning, afternoon, and evening) I am able to adjust my schedule with advance notice when needed and can accommodate regular or recurring walks as well as occasional bookings. About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole entire life. I have dog-watched for neighbors since I was about 12 years old. I am very loving towards animals and am skilled in washing and walking them. There is nothing better than getting to hang out with animals as they provide an unmatched love in our lives. I currently own two disabled dogs so I like to think no challenge is too big or too small. I enjoy dogs and cats of all sizes.
