Youyou did a great job sitting our cat Jasper. Jasper is a shy cat but came out of his shell quickly and started hanging out with Naonao. We received lots of photo updates everyday and we’re confident Jasper is in good hands. Overall, Youyou is a reliable, responsible, communicative sitter and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!
We were very impressed and happy with Youyou’s care of Poe! She was very professional, and performed the tasks we asked her to do perfectly. We were grateful for her coming and going notices and appreciated her comments about Poe’s behaviors. Understanding our concerns about Poe’s adapting to a new caretaker, at our request, Youyou took extra time beyond her scheduled time to check on Poe for us. I work from home, so I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pets and give them lots of love and attention. On weekends, I love being outdoors—if your dog enjoys adventures, I’d be happy to bring them along for some fun and fresh air!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely, keep the environment safe and clean, and treat your space with care. I provide regular photo updates so you always feel connected. I occasionally offer boarding at my home for small dogs and cats who can peacefully coexist with my friendly resident cat. I do slow, careful introductions to ensure a stress-free stay. Please note that I do not board large dogs.

A typical day starts with cheerful greetings and checking that everyone’s food, water, and litter are fresh. I spend time playing or brushing if they’re in the mood, and I always take a few minutes just to sit quietly near them — most cats (and even dogs!) come over when they feel safe. I send photo and video updates so you can see how relaxed and happy they are while you’re away. For cats, I bring out their favorite toys or create little play moments with feather wands and treat puzzles. For dogs, I love gentle walks around Tysons and extra cuddle time after play. Every pet has their own rhythm — I follow their lead to make sure they feel loved, calm, and cared for.
