About: I’m a warm, friendly, and dependable pet sitter who truly enjoys spending time with animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young, and friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me with their pets. I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra attention and cuddles. I have open availability during the summer (June 13–August 10), which allows me to provide flexible visits, walks, and plenty of attention for your pets throughout the day. During the rest of the year, I’m available before 7:30 AM and after 3:30 PM on weekdays, with additional flexibility on weekends. I’m reliable and committed to making sure your pet gets consistent care, exercise, and love. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having company. I always supervise interactions and make sure every pet feels safe and at ease. I treat every pet like my own and create a calm, loving environment while you’re away.
About: We’re a dependable mother–daughter pet-sitting team with 30 years of combined experience caring for, training, fostering, and loving animals of all shapes and sizes. 🐾 Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds, fish, and many other pets. Our own family has included Whippets, Labs, Shepherds, Mastiffs, Basset Hounds, and Chihuahua mixes, and as sitters and fosters we’ve cared for many more breeds—including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Huskies, Poodles, Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, and plenty of wonderful mixed breeds. 🐕 🐕🦺 🦮 🐩 One of us is working toward dog-training certification, and we both have puppy-training experience. 🦮🚶♀️ We gently reinforce good habits, routines, and leash manners through patience, consistency, TLC, and positive handling. Most importantly, we understand that every pet has its own personality, pace, and needs. As home owners ourselves who have lived in three different neighborhoods in the DMV, we specialize in providing attentive, respectful, and reliable care while keeping your pets comfortable in the surroundings they know best--your home! When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family. Our home is set up with safety and comfort in mind, with a secure fenced yard, indoor gates, and separate spaces when pets need a little room of their own. Our designated pet areas—including our family room—are cleaned at least once daily and stocked with plenty of blankets, toys, and chew toys. 🪢 🥎 🧺 (See photos attached to our profile). Our cats stay comfortably upstairs, giving them their own space away from visiting dogs. Most important, someone is always home with your pets. They get lots of companionship, attention, affection, and access to our outdoor space whenever they want it. What we offer with our services: 🏡 Fenced yard 👩👧 Mother–daughter care team with 30 years combined experience 🏠 Someone is always home 🐶 No more than 2 dogs/families boarded at one time 🎓 Dog-training experience/certification in progress 🐕 Experience with everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes ❤️ Dogs treated as part of the family Mom is the primary sitter, with her daughter—an apprentice vet and lifelong animal lover—often helping out. We’d love to provide reliable care for your pets at home or welcome them into our home! ❤️ We are currently working flexible hours and one of us is out of school for the summer, so we have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pups! When we welcome you pets into our home, someone is always home with them. We are experienced dog walkers comfortable caring for pets in urban, suburban, park, and country settings. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, park outings, or a calmer pace, we adjust to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For pet sitting in our home, we have a gated kitchen/family room area where pets can stay safely with us, as well as a fenced patio where they can get fresh air and companionship. We have the ability to separate your pets from other pets if that helps them feel secure. We can also crate your pet if that is part of their normal routine or helps them feel secure.
“Shelley has helped me on a few quick turnarounds when I really needed it due to a family health issue. She has been awesome at taking care of my family’s pup and I’m so thankful I connected with her! Our pup felt comfortable with her immediately.”
“Jake was incredible with my two cats while I was traveling for work. He was communicative, attentive, and sent thoughtful updates. I came home to two happy, relaxed cats and couldn’t recommend him more highly!”
About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my calm, patient, and gentle approach to each dog. I pay close attention to their body language, needs, and comfort. I'm especially good with puppies who need gentle guidance and basic training, as well as with older dogs who require more leisurely walks, extra care, and a loving, comforting presence. I treat every pet as if it were my own, with the same kindness, respect, and affection I would want for my own. I recently moved and have free time since I have online classes during the week on alternate schedules, so I have time to play with your little ones and shower them with warmth and attention. Within my family, three of them are a furry friend named Balu who is 7 years old, a cat named Copito who is 6 years old, and a kitten named Lucas who is 5 years old. I am used to taking care of them and keeping them under constant supervision, not only in their diet but also in their physical and emotional well-being.
“Claire was wonderful. I reached out to her in the morning a couple of hours before I needed her to come check on my three dogs. She made it happen on really short notice and played with them for an hour. Very grateful. She is patient and kind with our dogs and she is very reliable. Thank you Claire!”

“Asher was absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with my cat who can experience extreme separation anxiety. Every care step was followed and multiple pictures per visit were provided, leaving me fully at ease that my precious baby was being taken care of in the same way that I would have. Absolutely would love and fully plan to book again in the future!!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs all my life! My family had a toy poodle for 16 years and we now have a short-haired kitty. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages and sizes, from puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I also have experience with other pets and enjoy making sure each animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, or providing companionship, I’m happy to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I love caring for animals and I can’t wait to meet more furry friends! I work remotely as a consultant at a technology firm, meaning drop-in visits during the week are doable. In-house stays during the week/weekends are also very much doable! Since I work remotely, I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to walking, feeding, and caring for any pet that has specific needs. I have experience watching puppies, adult dogs, kittens, and cats. I will ensure your pet is comfortable around me so I can provide excellent care! Your fur baby will be in great hands, whether I’m taking them for walks throughout the week or caring for them overnight at your residence.
“Christine is great. I really love how she sends a quick message immediately when the check-in starts to reassure me that everything looks good. Very attentive and communicative. I feel like I'm leaving my cat in excellent hands and I don't have to worry about anything.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Great Falls. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
