About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care your pet needs. I’ll also make sure your home is respected and kept clean, bring in mail or packages if requested, water plants, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
