About: I'm a lifetime dog lover who is without a furry friend right now. I would love to spend some quality time with your dog or cat! I have owned a husky/shepherd mix and a chocolate lab, and have also cared for my sister's coon hound, so I'm experienced with large dogs. However, I love all sizes and types, and cats too. I have also volunteered with the Humane Society in Austin, TX, and Lost Dog and Cat Rescue here in Arlington, VA. I'm very active and love to walk (but don't run anymore), so I'm happy to give your pup plenty of exercise. I will give your pet all of the love, care and attention that I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! My schedule is flexible. I'm currently on administrative leave from my federal employment, and in the process of being subject to a reduction in force. I am happy to stay with your dog while you are traveling, walk your dog while you're out for the day, and do drop-ins with your cat. I do not provide dog-sitting in my own home.
