About: I have more experience caring for cats than dogs, since I own two 6-year-old cats myself and have cared for them for years. I’m experienced with feeding, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and administering both oral and topical medications. I have also taken care of dogs and cats for family friends, including medium-sized and older dogs such as German Shepherds. My responsibilities have included walking, feeding, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand the importance of patience, attention, and making pets feel safe in their routine. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s specific needs and following any instructions regarding medications, schedules, or behaviors. As a university student on summer break, my daytime schedule is completely open and flexible for walks and drop-in visits. Because I commute to my university nearby, I will remain in the area year-round and can transition to flexible part-time care once the school year begins. My overnight availability varies, so please message me directly to check specific night dates! I am an experienced pet owner with two cats of my own, and I confidently care for both dogs and cats. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets, so I love sending frequent photo and text updates to keep you connected. I strictly follow your pet's feeding and exercise routines to ensure they stay safe, happy, and comfortable.
“Abigail was a wonderful Petsitter! She was so communicative and easy to work with. I felt very reassured that my cat was in good hands! I would have no hesitation booking her again.”

“Mary was communicative, caring and shared detailed updates! We had a lot of peace of mind that the cats were well taken care of while I was away, and they were happy and secure when we arrived home. Look forward to having Mary watch our cats again!”

“Overall Sierra was great. She was very communicative and was willing to sort of modify what a normal visit would look like since I have pretty shy and anxious cats.”

“Ella did an amazing job with my tuxedo cat! She sat and played with her-gave her treats-scooped the litter box-even managed to brush her a little! Tazz only comes out for those that she trusts- Ella was patient and kind and took her time with her. I will be booking again! Highly recommend this young lady!!!”

“Tricia was perfect! She really went above and beyond to take good care of my cats while I was away. I didn’t worry about them once while I was gone, which is honestly a first for me. I hope to always be able to book her in the future!”

“Absolutely fantastic Petsit!! Seth took care of my pup recovering from surgery on 3 legs. He asked the right questions and was genuinely interested in the comfort and care of our little boy!! Very thankful and I will be booking him again!”

“Amanda was great with our cat. She was very attentive to our care instructions and got along well with the cat who is usually very shy. She sent us numerous pictures each visit to show how the cat was doing. She was clearly happy, healthy, and relaxed in Amanda’s care. I would definitely request her again the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Becky did amazing with my Daisy May, she stayed even a bit over her time and my baby girl lovedd her, they played and my pup even got the zoomies! Defiantly will book with Becky again!”

About: We have owned dogs all our lives and we truly think dog sitting should be done not by big boarding facilities but by loving and caring dog parents that have the experience of loving multiple dogs throughout their lives. My wife and I have had pets from 4 years old to now in our early thirties and we just used a home dog sitter for the first time. We were a little hesistant as this was our first time and it worked out perfectly. Seeing this work in action we both said this is the way a dog should be treated if their owners go away for vacation, so we decided to try to do the same things for our neighborhood. We treat all dogs like they are our own and will not disappoint anyone that books with us. Prior to sitting each dog, I send owners a few questions to learn more about their pup (e.g., Does your dog have health issues, behavioral issues, dietary restraints, etc.?). Services may not be rendered if special needs are not disclosed. Thank you.
About: I’ve always been a dog lover and have raised my 7-year-old Australian Shepherd since she was a puppy. I’m experienced with daily walks, exercise, feeding, basic training, and maintaining a consistent routine. I’ve also cared for friends’ cats, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I’ll treat them like my own! I work regular daytime hours, so I’m mainly available before or after work and on weekends. Whether you’re going on vacation, traveling for work, or just need someone to check in on your pet, I’m happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, and in-home care. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and confident when someone is caring for your pets in your home. I’m attentive to your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs, and I’ll follow your instructions carefully. During visits, I’ll make sure doors and gates are securely closed, keep pets away from anything potentially unsafe, and leave your home clean and secure. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I understand that every pet is different. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where your pets can feel at ease while you’re away.
“I reached out to Katherine last-minute, and I was so lucky she was able to help me out! My fur kids love her so much, and I love her updates and cute pics. I know they are in the best hands when they’re with her!”
“Thanks Youyou for visiting my cat! She was very responsible and caring, followed all my instructions carefully, took great care of my cat, and sent me lots of photos and videos. Highly recommend!”

“Alexis is an excellent cat sitter. Her Rover Cards are very thorough and her communication is excellent. My partner and I are very attached to our girl Gracie but we were put at ease while we were away by Alexis’s kindness and professionalism. I’d happily recommend her to any doting cat parents!”

About: Hi there! I love animals and have been dog sitting since 2012! I myself have owned dogs growing up and adopted a cat named Albus in 2014! I also have experience with fish, bunnies, chickens, geckos, chameleons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and frogs! I am free after work on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and after 7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. House sitting may be limited to the weekend depending on my work schedule. I may have some flexibility with advanced notice, please feel free to message me if you aren’t seeing availability for what you need. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Vienna
He is very reliable and response quickly. We had AC issue while we were away and he visited our house to feed our cat so we asked him to check the AC thermostat. He showed us the thermostat with his Facetime just like he did with our cat. It was helpful to confirm the thermostat was off.

I can’t thank Tricia enough! This was the first time my cat ever had a cat sitter and let someone in my own and Tricia was so communicative and kind from the very beginning to the meet and greet. All the photos each visit made me feel a little less sad being away knowing she was in great hands!! Just amazing attention to detail took so many notes from the meet and greet reached out with questions!! I am so thankful to have found her!!!!

Megan took care of our cats while we were away. She tried her best to make our cats feel comfortable. Whatever we requested during our trip, she always followed that and gave us detailed updates after every visit, along with photographs. We highly recommend Megan for pet sitting.
Becky took wonderful care of Margaret while we were away. She came every day right when she was supposed to, made sure Margaret was fed, and even brushed her. She also sent us pictures every day, which gave us peace of mind while we were gone. Before long, it was pretty clear Margaret was very comfortable with her. We’d absolutely trust Becky to take care of her again.

Elisabeth came through for us in a crisis and we can’t recommend her enough! She was flexible and willing to extend her pet sitting duties by a couple of days when the airlines cancelled our flight. Also our kitties loved her and she did a stellar job with photo updates.

Laleh took excellent care of our two cats while we were away! It gave us peace of mind to be able to leave our cats in our home where they are most comfortable and have her check in on them daily. She was communicative, always on time, and provided detailed photos and descriptions of her visits. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Seeun and her husband provided expert care for my cats while I was away 10 days! That first day is always the hardest until I get the first picture but once I saw how happy my cats were I knew they were in good hands and I could relax on vacation. I highly recommend you book their services.

Alex is so amazing! She’s taken care of our cats twice now and it’s been great each time. Very communicative and accommodating, stays longer than we even say, and takes a lot of pictures and videos :). One of our cats was also on medications and she handled that with ease as well! Definitely would rebook!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Vienna. On Rover:

- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
