“Abigail was a wonderful Petsitter! She was so communicative and easy to work with. I felt very reassured that my cat was in good hands! I would have no hesitation booking her again.”

“Sierra house sat for us and was respectful to our house, kept my plants alive (maybe better than I can), and most imporantly took great care of our cats. She was in very good communication with us if our cats needed anything and I felt very comfortable knowing she was watching our house and pets. We will contact her first if we ever need house sitting/pet watching again”

“Christabelle did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our pets while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for animals and had complete peace of mind during our trip!”

“Sophia was fantastic! She was punctual and responsive during both the meet & greet and her drop-in visit. She asked thoughtful questions and quickly picked up on the different personalities of our pups. It was clear her priority was keeping them happy and entertained while we were away. We highly recommend her and will definitely call on her again in the future”

“I recently had a fantastic experience with Tricia as she did drop-in visits three times a day while I was on a business trip. She was punctual, attentive, and truly cared for my pet’s well-being. Tricia followed the house rules for maintaining the security of my home, took my dog on regular walks, and even spent extra time playing outside with him, which my dog absolutely loved! It was clear that Tricia has a genuine love for animals, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I highly recommend Tricia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Fantastic sitting for my dogs on a last minute request! Was very attentive and arrived on schedule to attend to the dogs. Will absolutely check in with her again first for future needs! Thank you!”

About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.

I have also taken care of other dogs for friends and family over the years and have been very good at handling different types of dogs. I’m a recent college grad looking for a full time job. As of now I am very flexible and don’t have too much to do. As I mentioned before we have have had 2 rescues in our home and we have done our best in making sure our dogs are healthy and happy at all points in there life. One of our dogs is still living with us, he is getting up there in age and is r super active anymore. We also have a fenced in yard that is pretty big for the area and has plenty of places to explore!
“Amanda was great with our cat. She was very attentive to our care instructions and got along well with the cat who is usually very shy. She sent us numerous pictures each visit to show how the cat was doing. She was clearly happy, healthy, and relaxed in Amanda’s care. I would definitely request her again the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Becky did amazing with my Daisy May, she stayed even a bit over her time and my baby girl lovedd her, they played and my pup even got the zoomies! Defiantly will book with Becky again!”

About: I’ve always been a dog lover and have raised my 7-year-old Australian Shepherd since she was a puppy. I’m experienced with daily walks, exercise, feeding, basic training, and maintaining a consistent routine. I’ve also cared for friends’ cats, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I’ll treat them like my own! I work regular daytime hours, so I’m mainly available before or after work and on weekends. Whether you’re going on vacation, traveling for work, or just need someone to check in on your pet, I’m happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, and in-home care. I’m attentive to your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs, and I’ll follow your instructions carefully. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I understand that every pet is different. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where your pets can feel at ease while you’re away.

He is very reliable and response quickly. We had AC issue while we were away and he visited our house to feed our cat so we asked him to check the AC thermostat. He showed us the thermostat with his Facetime just like he did with our cat. It was helpful to confirm the thermostat was off.

I can’t thank Tricia enough! This was the first time my cat ever had a cat sitter and let someone in my own and Tricia was so communicative and kind from the very beginning to the meet and greet. All the photos each visit made me feel a little less sad being away knowing she was in great hands!! Just amazing attention to detail took so many notes from the meet and greet reached out with questions!! I am so thankful to have found her!!!!

Megan took care of our cats while we were away. She tried her best to make our cats feel comfortable. Whatever we requested during our trip, she always followed that and gave us detailed updates after every visit, along with photographs. We highly recommend Megan for pet sitting.
Becky took wonderful care of Margaret while we were away. She came every day right when she was supposed to, made sure Margaret was fed, and even brushed her. She also sent us pictures every day, which gave us peace of mind while we were gone. Before long, it was pretty clear Margaret was very comfortable with her. We’d absolutely trust Becky to take care of her again.

Elisabeth came through for us in a crisis and we can’t recommend her enough! She was flexible and willing to extend her pet sitting duties by a couple of days when the airlines cancelled our flight. Also our kitties loved her and she did a stellar job with photo updates.

Laleh took excellent care of our two cats while we were away! It gave us peace of mind to be able to leave our cats in our home where they are most comfortable and have her check in on them daily. She was communicative, always on time, and provided detailed photos and descriptions of her visits. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I would highly recommend Michelle for any pet sitting needs! She is so sweet and communicative throughout her visits! I received lots of pictures and updates, and I can clearly tell my pup is very happy with her :) I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

Seeun and her husband provided expert care for my cats while I was away 10 days! That first day is always the hardest until I get the first picture but once I saw how happy my cats were I knew they were in good hands and I could relax on vacation. I highly recommend you book their services.

- 94% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
