If needed I always drove them to my parents but it became clear that the roadtrip stressed them out more than if I had just left them at home and had a stranger come by the house. They grew closer towards the end which is a testament of Barb's personality and care qualities. My other 2 cats are shy ones so there was a worry that we wouldn't be able to confirm if they were eating or not. But eventually Barb's calm and gentle presence coaxed them out enough to be spotted for a food grab or a hydration stop every now and then. Overall, having Barb as a first time Rover sitter and first time pet sitter was a perfect match and I feel lucky to have had her watching over my pets.”

About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.

Alex is so amazing! She’s taken care of our cats twice now and it’s been great each time. Very communicative and accommodating, stays longer than we even say, and takes a lot of pictures and videos :). One of our cats was also on medications and she handled that with ease as well!
