About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I just got a vet assistant job so usually it requires me to be away for 6 hours! I can only do all day pet sitting on Wednesdays and Sundays which I have off! Amanda did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs while we were gone for a few days! She was available to come on such short notice to do a check-in on my puppy Nova while we were out and sent plenty of photos and updates while they were together! She took Nova on a nice walk and hung out with her/made sure she had water before leaving. My home was the way we left it when we returned - I would happily have her watch Nova again !
