About: Hi there! I’m a recent graduate from the University of Virginia (3.94 GPA, Public Service Scholar, Double-Major) and have been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young. Neighbors, friends, and local families have relied on me for feeding, playtime, and drop-in visits (both cats and dogs), and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home and on walks. I truly love spending time with dogs—they’re honestly one of my favorite parts of life. Please note: I use only positive reinforcement when caring for animals, and I’m happy to reinforce basic training during walks or visits if requested. I’m currently in my gap year, saving for graduate school, and would love to spend that time caring for pets in the Reston area! As a post-UVA Grad, I have an extremely flexible schedule following mid-May. I provide care exclusively in/around your home, including requested walks, baths, playtime, and other specified general care. I pride myself on strong communication and provide regular updates and photos so you always feel informed and at ease. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, medications (if needed), and any household guidelines. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and home security, and I always double-check that everything is secure before leaving. I focus on keeping your pet in their familiar environment, or, where requested, so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, whether they need playtime and energy or a calm, quiet presence. I use only positive reinforcement and never punishment. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands upon each drop-in or walk.

About: I’m a warm, friendly, and dependable pet sitter who truly enjoys spending time with animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young, and friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me with their pets. About: I am on a short career break while waiting for a clearance to come through to start my new job. Looking to fill my days with some furry friends while I wait! I have always been a dog lover and have lots of experience with doodles specifically but love all dogs. I have one pup (Lulu, 2 yr old 35lb mini Bernedoodle) that loves everyone and everything. Currently between jobs and at home most of the day! I am up and at it early during the week either on runs or at the gym. I have a small fenced in yard and live a few steps from 3 of the Reston trail entrances! I am very active and love to go on walks with my dog.

I always make sure their water bowl is full and pay attention to the toys/chewables they put in their mouth so I can act quick in case they choke. If they feel sick, I keep them next to me all the time and they go on my office bed when I'm at work and totally open to taking the pet to the recommended veterinarian if needed and will be in communication with the owner at all times, I wouldn't mind being away from my work for few hours! I’d prefer all communications to be through Rover only and not exchange personal numbers/emails.

Previously, I volunteered regularly with Little Buddies Adoption and Humane Society. I will strive to work around your schedule. MEDICATIONS I have experience helping sick cats, including through oral medication, insulin shots and subcutaneous fluids. If your pet is people-shy, I would love to take the time to get to know them and let them feel safe around me before administering any medications. DOG WALKING I love dogs in all shapes, sizes and temperaments, but have relatively limited experience compared to my extensive work with cats. If you are looking for care for a dog with aggressive tendencies, I would recommend looking for a different sitter. I am currently job searching and pursuing a security + cert. I schedule my job searching and studying around my cat sitting hours, which affords some flexibility. I exclusively care for pets in my clients' homes, as my own cat needs a safe, solo environment. I am respectful of the space, and will spend my time devoted to your particular pets needs (whether that's play, affection, or just side by side coexisting).
