About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a young child. My Bruno (12 lb Biewer Terrier) and my regular daycare friends will keep your pup company - as well as my two attentive and careful children (12 & 9). We will love your pet as if he/she is our own! As a teenager, I raised cockatiels and I volunteered for the Museum of Life and Sciences in Durham, NC taking care of exotic animals of all types and sizes. Now that we have a yard, I've been living my dream of having my own dog (5+ years). It turns out I am great with dogs! • I limit boarding to smaller dog breeds with the rare exception for daycare when I know the family and larger dog plays well. • I work from home, so I will be with them all day. • I have a large fenced-in backyard, where they can get their zoomies out, and go for potty breaks as needed. I go outside a lot, which brings them outside more too (they like to be wherever I am!) • If your dog likes car rides, let me know, he/she can come along for short errands and pickups to and from school. • I can watch other kinds of pets, as long as you can easily transport them to me: Birds, bunnies, etc. using my “cat” rate on Rover. Request a cat boarding and let me know about your pet. • I do not watch cats. We have allergies to them To get started, we will have a meet & greet over video or in person, and book from there. Looking forward to meeting you! I work from home regular 9-5 hours. I take frequent breaks before, during, and after work to feed, potty and exercise our fur buddies. I'm here to let them in and out of our large backyard for frequent breaks and play time. I have a large fenced backyard, with pickets to keep smaller breeds safe. I'm constantly checking that the gates are closed. They can sleep anywhere in our house, and most are comfortable doing so without a crate. When the weather is nice, I'll work on our deck to give them more outside time (because let's face it... these velcro sweeties want to be wherever I am!)

About: Since I was little, dogs have always been part of my life. They’ve been with me through moves, college years, and even rescue adventures—and one very good girl even played matchmaker and helped me meet my husband. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pet, and how much anxiety it can cause for both dogs and their humans. That’s why I love sending frequent photo and video updates, so you always know your pup is happy, safe, and having a great time. I care for every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while their family is away. I’m a teacher, so I’m home early on weekdays and fully available on weekends. There is always someone at home, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I also have very active kids (teenager) who love pets and happily provide extra snuggles and attention to the dogs we babysit. I’m a runner and know many great, safe trails around Reston and Herndon, perfect for walks and exercise. We also live near the Town Center, so there are plenty of fun, dog-friendly places for your pup to explore. Your dog will get a great mix of activity, companionship, and love while staying with us. I’m very active and physically strong, which allows me to safely walk and handle dogs of different sizes in our area. We have access to many beautiful trails nearby, perfect for safe and enriching walks. By default, we take dogs on three walks per day, but if your dog needs more frequent potty breaks or extra exercise, we’re more than happy to accommodate their routine. My husband is also home and helps with walks and care, so your dog will always have multiple attentive adults making sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. I live in an apartment surrounded by green spaces in a very pet-friendly neighborhood. Inside our home, there’s a cozy bed by a window with lots of activity—my dog Layla’s favorite spot to keep an eye on the neighborhood—and many dogs enjoy relaxing there too. Your dog will be in a calm, secure, and loving environment where they can truly feel at home.

Inside the home, dogs are given a calm space to relax and are never left unsupervised for long periods since I work from home. I introduce dogs thoughtfully and only take on a small number at a time to maintain a safe and low-stress environment. About: We have always been around with dogs and have genuine love for them. We have a beagle mix (TOTO) and he loves running and playing with other dogs! We also have experience taking care of dogs and cats for our friends. Except for running basic errands, we will be home with your pets almost 24/7. I’m currently working fully remotely from home and my husband’s work schedule is also flexible, so we will spend a lot of time with your pups! Our day starts around 8AM and we do a 30-min walk then breakfast. We have a fenced backyard and your dogs will have free access to it. We offer playtime throughout the day as well. Around 6PM we have another walk for about 40 min and then dinner. Around 11PM we do another bathroom break before bed. 1. Daily Routine -We can feed according to your schedule and dietary instructions. -We usually do two long walks (30-45 min) per day and let our dog go out to backyard a couple times or whenever he wants to. So we will make sure your pet(s) have two (or more if needed) walks and let them have regular potty breaks in backyard throughout the day. 2. Exercise & Enrichment -Feel free to bring your own toys and we will also offer toys and play games with your pets. -Our dog loves playing with dogs too and he’s full of energy so I’m sure your pups won’t get bored! 3. Safe Environment -We have a fenced backyard to let your dogs run and explore! -We have multiple rooms so we can separate dogs if needed.

It’s the perfect 'dog TV' for them to enjoy from a comfy spot on the couch! We live right next to a wonderful walking trail for peaceful, structured exercise. I am a highly communicative, detail-oriented sitter, and I will happily send you photo and text updates each day so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having.
