About: We’re a dependable mother–daughter pet-sitting team with 30 years of combined experience caring for, training, fostering, and loving animals of all shapes and sizes. 🐾 Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds, fish, and many other pets. Our own family has included Whippets, Labs, Shepherds, Mastiffs, Basset Hounds, and Chihuahua mixes, and as sitters and fosters we’ve cared for many more breeds—including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Huskies, Poodles, Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, and plenty of wonderful mixed breeds. 🐕 🐕‍🦺 🦮 🐩 One of us is working toward dog-training certification, and we both have puppy-training experience. 🦮🚶‍♀️ We gently reinforce good habits, routines, and leash manners through patience, consistency, TLC, and positive handling. Most importantly, we understand that every pet has its own personality, pace, and needs. As home owners ourselves who have lived in three different neighborhoods in the DMV, we specialize in providing attentive, respectful, and reliable care while keeping your pets comfortable in the surroundings they know best--your home! When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family. Our home is set up with safety and comfort in mind, with a secure fenced yard, indoor gates, and separate spaces when pets need a little room of their own. Our designated pet areas—including our family room—are cleaned at least once daily and stocked with plenty of blankets, toys, and chew toys. 🪢 🥎 🧺 (See photos attached to our profile). Our cats stay comfortably upstairs, giving them their own space away from visiting dogs. Most important, someone is always home with your pets. They get lots of companionship, attention, affection, and access to our outdoor space whenever they want it. When we welcome you pets into our home, someone is always home with them. We are experienced dog walkers comfortable caring for pets in urban, suburban, park, and country settings. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, park outings, or a calmer pace, we adjust to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For pet sitting in our home, we have a gated kitchen/family room area where pets can stay safely with us, as well as a fenced patio where they can get fresh air and companionship. We have the ability to separate your pets from other pets if that helps them feel secure. We can also crate your pet if that is part of their normal routine or helps them feel secure.

About: I've always been the family, friend, & neighbor go-to for pet care! I'm friendly, reliable, and I have a huge heart for furry friends. Your baby will be happy and free to roam the home all the time and play with an energetic, pup-friend (my boxer/hound rescue). Daily walks, plenty of playtime, and lots of love are guaranteed. I am comfortable administering medicine, and your pup is welcome on the furniture. Any questions just ask! I am a teacher who is home weekends and most school holidays and can pick up/drop off your pet if needed. Last minute & holiday bookings are welcome. I have a large crate and access to smaller crates if needed. Otherwise, pets are welcome to roam free indoors all day & night. I'm in a 2 bedroom, garden-style condo. with a small patio that pups can be on a lead if they like. Otherwise, we can go to a little-known dog park that is grass surface and play for an hour every day (depending on weather). In your home, I can play with your pup, feed, medicate, whatever is needed. Overnights at my home are easy with last minute bookings. Thanks for reading :)

About: My name is Abigail, but prefer to go by Abby. I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my entire life and I’m dedicated to making every dog be safe and happy. I’m currently a volunteer at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, clean up after them, and supervise the dogs at play. But I’m trying to work up and get hired as a full-fledged dog daycare attendant at an official facility. I currently live with my mom and younger brother, so even if I have to leave to run errands, my family is guaranteed to keep company for all pets unless we all have to leave for work. I’m available through any day of the week or weekend. Becoming a dog sitter is my passion and dream job so I will be on call at any time or day. I currently have no pets and do not have a fenced in yard. If needed, I can crate dogs and keep them on a leash when outdoors.

About: I’m a Stay at Home Mom with 2 boys. We will be able to give your dog/precious furry child our full attention. *We only need your dog to be comfortable with elementary school age boys.* Your dog will stay active with us, we’ll do everything we can together! We recently lost our sweet dog of 14 years and we are only ready to babysit and care for dogs in our local area at this time. Not ready for our own yet! So there are no other animals in the home. Your dog will have 1:1 care. Let me know specifically how you care for your dog and I will do my best to make sure your dog feels loved and cozy! I think it’s really important to send videos and photos of your dog while you are away. I think it’s best to keep you updated. I will ALWAYS keep you informed of all activities and if I have any issues. I have a clean sweet home and would love your dog to add to its joy. As a stay at home mom and homeschool parent I have the time to care and give your dog attention he/she needs. Our family finds so so much joy in caring for dogs. After our dog passed, the void of a dog has been very weird, we love fitting time in our day to care for a special furry friend. We have a lovely walking neighborhood to give your dog the daily activity he/she needs. Our backyard is large and has so many squirrels for your dog to chase. I do not let a dog out and shut a door, the perk of not having a fence is that I am outside with your dog watching he/she as they run around the yard.
