About: Since I was little, dogs have always been part of my life. They’ve been with me through moves, college years, and even rescue adventures—and one very good girl even played matchmaker and helped me meet my husband. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pet, and how much anxiety it can cause for both dogs and their humans. That’s why I love sending frequent photo and video updates, so you always know your pup is happy, safe, and having a great time. I care for every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while their family is away. I’m a teacher, so I’m home early on weekdays and fully available on weekends. There is always someone at home, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I also have very active kids (teenager) who love pets and happily provide extra snuggles and attention to the dogs we babysit. I’m a runner and know many great, safe trails around Reston and Herndon, perfect for walks and exercise. We also live near the Town Center, so there are plenty of fun, dog-friendly places for your pup to explore. Your dog will get a great mix of activity, companionship, and love while staying with us. I’m very active and physically strong, which allows me to safely walk and handle dogs of different sizes in our area. We have access to many beautiful trails nearby, perfect for safe and enriching walks. By default, we take dogs on three walks per day, but if your dog needs more frequent potty breaks or extra exercise, we’re more than happy to accommodate their routine. My husband is also home and helps with walks and care, so your dog will always have multiple attentive adults making sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. I live in an apartment surrounded by green spaces in a very pet-friendly neighborhood. Inside our home, there’s a cozy bed by a window with lots of activity—my dog Layla’s favorite spot to keep an eye on the neighborhood—and many dogs enjoy relaxing there too. Your dog will be in a calm, secure, and loving environment where they can truly feel at home.

However, when we met Jennifer for the first time, she immediately started to explore Jennifer's living room, and she seemed very relaxed.
