“Asal was fantastic! She was so patient with my cantankerous cat, Eva. She could have just gone about her tasks and gave up on interacting with Eva, but she was persistent and won her over. Eva doesn't really like anyone, so it is a huge deal that she allowed someone new to pet her and even gave some purrs! I'm convinced that Asal must be some kind of cat whisperer. She also has excellent communication skills. I loved the summaries of the visits and pictures. Next time we get away, I will definitely be rebooking!”

“Keara was AMAZING!!! One of our cats is extremelyyy shy and always hides from strangers but Keara was so patient and loving with him that by the second visit he was out and about and sharing snuggles ? We received so many cute photos and great consistent communication that made us feel so comfortable. Thank you, Keara!!! Jabba and Rey miss you ??”

“Allison was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of (Bluey) him, kept me updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable the entire time. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Allison!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 18 years old. My family adopted a new born puppy while I was in college and he is our whole world. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, walk them, and spend quality time playing and keeping them comfortable while they’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including energetic puppies and older dogs that need extra patience and attention. I always focus on making pets feel safe, cared for, and relaxed in their own environment. I’m also new to the Ashburn area and would love to spend some of my free time getting to know the neighborhood while caring for local dogs. Spending time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I work fully remote and am home all day, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I take breaks between work tasks to go on walks, work along side with pups and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It’s easy for me to maintain a consistent schedule and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get potty breaks and walks, and receive plenty of attention and playtime. I also pay close attention to their behavior and well-being and keep the home tidy and secure while I’m there. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with regular feeding, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. I maintain consistency with the pet’s normal routine and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.
“Paige was great. She sent good feedback about how our little one was doing while we were gone. She spent time with her and sent some great photos. We would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.”

“Nikki was great! She was able to stop by fairly last minute to let our dog out for a short walk. She was also kind enough to come over for a short meet-and-greet beforehand so that our dog would be familiar with her. If another time comes where we need a drop-in sitter, we’ll absolutely be using Nikki again!”
“Lydia is fantastic. She is highly professional, organized, and punctual. She documented my dog’s behavior and made sure she was well taken care of. Most importantly: my dog loved her. It is obvious that Lydia has years of experience and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Teju communicates extremely well and showed true care towards my cat. They went above and beyond while I was away and I would absolutely love to rebook them in the future.”

About: I have taken care of my family and friends pets since I was just a little kid. I've spent my life watching after a Great Dane, Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, Cavapoo, and many more. I've also spent a bunch of time with cats; feeding, playing, and giving them all the attention they could ever want. I have taken care of sick animals, walked them, cleaned after them, and done whatever has been needed of me. I am a teacher, so during the summer I am free 99% of the time. I can easily fit in pet care whenever it's needed. When the school year starts up, I will have to adjust my availability. I am able to go into anyone's house and help out. I am able to feed them, give them plenty of attention, and play with them.
About: I have owned dogs and other animals for over 25 years. I have been a care sitter and dog walker for over 5. I love animals and they normally like me as well. I can work any day of the week as my schedule is flexable. I am open to any night to stay over and pet sit. I have a senior dog with disabilitys and i change her diapers and secure the place for her so i am well experienced with pets with special needs

“Derek was so great with my senior kitty! Usually my senior cat is really desperate for attention when we get back, but he was great and clearly engaged with. Also having the knowledge he could pill my cat if needed was really comforting”

“Sabrina has been so great with my dog, Yoli! Yoli is very anxious when meeting new people, but within the first two times dropping in, Sabrina has won her over. Highly recommend!”

About: I have a one five year old dog now and have had so much fun training him over the past few years. I also owned a standard poodle for many years and am familiar with walking, feeding and training routines. I’ve also spent time caring for others dogs and know how those routines and needs change for each dog. Each dogs energy level and needs are different so I usually let the dog set the pace! I am working from home and may be available last minute, but it is largely dependent on the day. I’m active and enjoy being outside so dog walking is usually one of the best parts of my day! I am always trying to stay in tune with how a dog is feeling. Maybe they need a slower pace, faster pace or if they get chilly, it’s so important!

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals and absolutely love dogs. I work outside, enjoy long hikes, or cuddling up on the couch with furry friends. I have worked in a zoo, and routinely care for animals at work as a park ranger. I have rescued numerous dogs in recent years and provide expert level care with each one. I have taken online dog psychology/behavioral courses and find an incredible bond even with aggressive dogs. I work full time however I work rotating shifts so I frequently have off during the week random days or weekends and prefer to spend any free time I have with dogs. I can care for sick animals and am familiar with administering medicine as well as identifying when the dog has anxiety or stressed out and am able to help the dog feel more comfortable. I also have a dog park nearby that I often take them too if the dog is socialized well with others.
Oak Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Even though she came in for a simple drop in visit as I was out of the house the whole day, she still did a phenomenal job with feeding the animals, administering my cats specific medication, and walking my dog around the neighborhood! I also have a pet toad in which she helped feed him as well:) All in all, i recommend booking her for your pets!
Lydia is fantastic. She is highly professional, organized, and punctual. She documented my dog’s behavior and made sure she was well taken care of. Most importantly: my dog loved her. It is obvious that Lydia has years of experience and I would recommend her to anyone!

Tyler is incredible! He is thorough, communicative and very patient with my extremely grouchy little dog. Tyler won my little guys heart (he allowed himself to be picked up!) within 24 hours, which is a testament to what a great dog whisperer he is. He even went the extra mile and tended to my cats while he stopped in. We are so appreciative of the care! Looking forward to next time!

Musa was absolutely wonderful! I booked a total of four 30 minute drop-ins for both my dog and cat over the weekend and was really impressed with his professionalism and communication with me every step of the way. Thank you Musa, you definitely will be my first choice next time I have to have someone drop-in for Napu and Kevin!
