“Jake took great care of our two dogs and cat while we were away. He sent nice updates and observations so we knew just what was going on at home. And he tailored his dog walking to match our dogs’ style. Great to work with.”

“Carole is the best! She takes the time to love your animals as if they are her own. She has a wealth of knowledge, responds quickly, and is highly reliable. If you’re wondering who to trust to watch your pets while you’re away, book Carole now!”

“Asher was absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with my cat who can experience extreme separation anxiety. Every care step was followed and multiple pictures per visit were provided, leaving me fully at ease that my precious baby was being taken care of in the same way that I would have. Absolutely would love and fully plan to book again in the future!!”

“Alexa took such great care of my cat while I was away. I loved how I could rely on how punctual her check-ins were and how consistently she communicated. It really helped to make me feel at ease and know my cat was in great hands. My cat was very spoiled by all of the affection she got and I know she can’t wait to see Alexa again!”

“Amazing experience. Rosemary is punctual, knowledgeable, and truly listens to individual dog needs. My dogs loved her right away, and she was so nurturing during her time with them. We will be booking again!”

“Even though she came in for a simple drop in visit as I was out of the house the whole day, she still did a phenomenal job with feeding the animals, administering my cats specific medication, and walking my dog around the neighborhood! I also have a pet toad in which she helped feed him as well:) All in all, i recommend booking her for your pets!”

“Natalia was so sweet, kind, and attentive with our girls. She shared photos and kept us updated the entire time and we are so lucky we found her to petsit our pups. We would definitely recommend her and plan to use her services again in the future.”
About: I have owned and cared for dogs all my life and love pets of all kinds. I currently have a 10-year old dog, so I am experienced with senior needs. I love going for long walks with furry friends and always make sure they get lots of play time. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs or cats. Need early morning, lunch break, or evening walks or drop-ins I'm there! I will work with the schedule you outline and ensure your pet is getting the attention and care they need. Busy walks, treats, feedings if needed, I can take care of it all.
“Leah took great care of my cat during a couple of weekend drop-in visits, including meeting him where he’s at when it comes to warming up to new people. She was also very responsive and kept me updated so that I wasn’t worried while I was out of town.”

“Dyanna was absolutely incredible with Maverick! It was my first time being away from him and she was sensitive to that and sent multiple updates and pictures of my dude. Would 100% recommend Dyanna to anyone in need!”

“Derek was so great with my senior kitty! Usually my senior cat is really desperate for attention when we get back, but he was great and clearly engaged with. Also having the knowledge he could pill my cat if needed was really comforting”

About: Hello Rover Community! Wonderful to meet you all virtually! My Name is Hana, I’m 27 years old living in the Northern VA area. I provide daily dog walks, in home visits, overnight care in your home as well as cat services ! I’ve had experience with pet care for over 12 years and do have many reviews from past clients if needed. I do have a 14 year old pet and have experience with senior pet care as well. Fluent in both English and Spanish, currently working from home so communication and flexibility will not be an issue. Looking forward to caring for your pets! I’ve been working remotely for over 5 years and am very flexible when it comes to pet care. I’m off on the weekends and will prioritize time for your pets when needed. I have an older dog that keeps to herself and will probably do her own thing when caring for your dog. If there are special requests needs for your dog, I will do my best to follow.
About: I've been the go to neighborhood pet sitter since I was in middle school. People trust that I will always be on time and care for their pets like they are my own! Recently ran a marathon so I can do longggg walks! My schedule is currently flexible, I am available for pet care weekdays and weekends anytime including overnight pet sitting at your house. I usually won't be able to stay the entire day but I will be back for frequently to let them out and play fetch or go for a walk. When taking clients dogs for walks, I always carry treats to distract the dog if they don't get along with other dogs and before leaving the house I double check they have plenty of water and the doors are all locked.

Anthony did a great job taking care of Deuce while I was away! He was reliable, communicative, and followed all of the instructions I left for Deuce’s feeding, walks, and daily routine. Having a high-energy GSP can be a lot, but Anthony handled him really well and made me feel comfortable knowing Deuce was being taken care of. He kept me updated throughout the trip, was dependable with the scheduled check-ins, and gave Deuce the attention and exercise he needed. I came home to a happy and well-cared for dog, which is exactly what you want when trusting someone with your pet. I really appreciate Anthony’s help and would definitely trust him with Deuce again. Highly recommend! 5/5 ⭐️🐾

Jenn is great!! we have three big dogs and all of them love her. One of my dogs can be a little finicky as a protective dominant dog (y’all know what I mean), and he loves her. She fed them and let them out a couples times. I came home and they were happy babes. Thank you Jenn!

Katherine is a compassionate and conscientious sitter. My two dogs love seeing her and trust her. She makes an extra effort to follow instructions and to inquire with us if there are any concerns about the dogs. We have older dogs, and I had left a note about certain issues she might observe with one of the dogs. During visits, she attended to my dog with great care and monitored him closely to make sure he was fine before leaving from visits. She provides exceptional care, and we highly recommend her.

Even though she came in for a simple drop in visit as I was out of the house the whole day, she still did a phenomenal job with feeding the animals, administering my cats specific medication, and walking my dog around the neighborhood! I also have a pet toad in which she helped feed him as well:) All in all, i recommend booking her for your pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Oak Hill with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
