Dog Sitting in Herndon

About: I've been caring for dogs since 2017 when I began watching my roommates two large dogs. I adopted my sweet Pit-bull, Speck in 2019 and had her until 2023 when she was unfortunately put down. As her mobility began to decline, I developed more patience and became better with time management. I am happy to sacrifice for a pet that requires me getting up extra early, taking things slow, or even carrying them upstairs. I work FT onsite M-F, but will always prioritize a pet that I'm watching. Fortunately my work is flexible and I am able to drop in during my break to take the dog(s) out. Pets are welcome on the furniture as it's covered. My two cats are kept in a different room while other pets are staying with me. There are child locks on the cabinets in the kitchen as my cats are tricksters. The neighborhood is quiet so there shouldn't be much noise if your pet is anxious.

About: Experience caring for neighborhood dogs and cats, including walking, feeding, and playing. Former associate of Petsmart’s Pet Hotel. There, I cared for boarded dogs individually and by surveying doggie day camps (groups of 10-15 dogs). I also cared for cats staying at Petsmart. Morning, afternoon, and evening availability during the week. Full availability on weekends. However, willing to adapt and provide the best care possible for your pets. I live with three well-behaved cats that are well-fed and well played with. When dogsitting for others, I follow the owners guidelines and have experience in walking, fenced yard time, and crating.

“Alan was requested last min. and was still able to accommodate my crazy last min planning. My Nola, is a medium size 8month old pitty. She's stuborn, yet sweet as can be, she feels intittled to belly rubs especially from new faces. Nola, tends to get annoyingly over excited with all new faces. She still has a leash pulling and jumping matter we are adressing in her dog academy training, non of those annoyances seemed to phase Alan one bit. He even came the same day I requested his services to meet Nola (all very last min.). I appreciate his flexibility, time managment, and most importantly communication curiosity (quick response time). I'm a single mother of an autistic little ball of 10yr old hyper sunshine 🌞 ... aswell as a full time Private Care for elderly and sick. Both work and personal life are very demanding. My son has been coming to work with me all last and this summer break. Alan made our summer end better with his services! About: I’ve had a heart for animals since I was a kid, and that love has only grown! From finned friends like fish to turtles, lizards, bunnies, horses, and dogs, I've cared for them all! Currently my primary focus at home is my senior dog, my five year old husky, and the horses at my local farm that I volunteer with weekly. I promise to look after your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working full time in office. I am available before 8am and after 4pm MON - FRI and during the weekends to care for your pets. About: I’ve been working closely with dogs since I was four years old. We moved around a lot growing up and I would always helped her readjust to feel safe in new areas. I would get to know neighbors’ and friends’ pets, and with this early life experience, I’m a natural at getting pets to feel comfortable with me. I have experience working with senior dogs and dogs in recovery from injury, as well as dogs who have been rescued or traumatized by scary situations. I am currently in school, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I typically have 1-2 classes per weekday, either in the morning or at night, leaving the majority of my schedule open for pet care. I always make sure pets’ emotional needs are taken care of. For example, I pay very close attention to body language. At home, if my dog is ever purposefully ignoring me, I check with her to see if something is wrong.

About: As someone who works remotely, I'm fortunate to have the flexibility to be available whenever your pup needs attention, whether it's for a walk in the park, some playtime, or just a reassuring presence while you're away. I work remotely so I can care for your pet at any time, anywhere. Since I am home all day I have plenty of time to tend for your pet! About: Hello! I’m Catalina. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I love creating a mix of adventure and comfort for them, whether it’s a hike, a long walk, or a relaxing movie night afterwards. My building has a great dog park with lots of toys, so pups get plenty of space and stimulation. I’m available on weekends and always make sure every dog in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. During the weekend I can spend the whole day with them and also at night or dog care.
