“Super happy with the care provided for my dog and cat during the drop-in visit. Both were well taken care of. I had a last minute trip and June was available to assist. I appreciated the updates and photos, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Brooke was so helpful and sweet with our puppy — she even taught her a new trick! She took incredible care of our puppy, our home, and keep us well updated. Would certainly rebook and trust her to provide great care.”

“Brittany was great! Our dog honestly looked a little disappointed when it was us who walked through the door and not Brittany when we got back from our weekend trip ?♂️ He was obviously in good hands.”
About: I have always had a love for animals, with dogs especially having a special place in my heart. I currently have two rescue babies, Daisy & Pepe, who I have been caring for the last 8+ years. I understand that your fur-babies are your children, and deserve all the love and care in the world! Feel assured that your pet gets treated like my own and receives the necessary care while you are away. Driven by empathy, I know that everyone has a specific way of caring for their loved ones. I am open to any and all conversations on how to best satisfy your care needs and provide the best service possible! Fast and active replier. Currently finding myself with a lot of extra time, therefore am open to caring for your pet at any time of the day! Animals require consistency and daily routines to feel at ease, therefore I am happy to discuss and create arrangements that best fit the needs of your pet and your schedule! I am also all about routines and time management, so be assured that your pets will get consistent care throughout the day as specified/agreed! No dog or pet is the same, so let’s work together to create a plan that works best for them. Looking to fill my schedule with consistent daily/weekly walks/check-ins Living in an apartment complex, I am no stranger to watching my neighbors pets both at their residence and at my own. I offer staying with your pet (at your residence) until the late night to quickly stopping by for a quick potty break. If you have any special requests/accommodations needed, I am happy to discuss and work something out!

“Anum quickly became loved by our 4 dogs and 2 cats. She easily remembered all the details of their feeding and schedule. She fed the entire crew and kept them all happy during a long Easter Weekend. Our emotionally needy GSP and barky Aussie became good friends with Anum. Even our very shy dog came out of her shell !”

“Tammy is wonderful!! She kindly arranged to come to our house to meet our dog beforehand and to make sure she knew all the details while doing drop-in visits at our home. Her attentiveness and flexibility made everything so easy during an otherwise hectic trip. Tammy is reliable and caring. She took the most beautiful photos of our dog during her visits! Most importantly, she was so sensitive to our sweet dog's needs and made sure he got plenty of his favorite cuddles. It was a comfort knowing he was with such a warm and caring person. We will definitely work with her again!”

“Steffany was amazing. She did drop in visits for our two large dogs on a short notice. Was very professional and we didn’t have to worry at all. Thank you Steffany you allowed us to enjoy our trip!”
About: Hey! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I am a lifelong dog lover, having owned small medium and large breeds since childhood and throughout my life. From Dachshunds, to Dalmatians, to Great Danes and Rhodesians, I have vast experience with all dog sizes and strengths; As well as the psychology and temperament that accompanies each breed, and the necessary handling and demeanor. The time spent as a Veterinary technicians assistant in college means I'm also familiar with some basic dog first aid (doggy first aid kit with me), as well as know what to look for and asist in order to make sure each breed is comfortable (ex. larger and or longer breeds may have hip dysplasia or other difficulties). Having spent every summer on a large farm with over 10 dogs, I not only seem to have a second sense for dog behavior, but understand their psychology in a group situation, the hierarchy involved, as well as the need for a sense of security and comfort. I am the one my friends call to come help train their dogs, or even accompany them on a hike in case some first aid is necessary. Moreover three of my close friends are veterinary doctors, whom I speak with daily, and are a great source for any information needed. I have extensive experience with both young puppies, and older dogs who may or may not have some incontinence or other medical issues. I am very familiar with dogs with special needs, as my own previous dog was partially paralyzed, and required medication. At the end of the day, I just love dogs and want them to be as happy and healthy as possible, including cooking custom meals :) I work remotely and at my own pace, so dogs always come first. There is a well groomed dog park across the street that we can go to at any moments notice. I have a dog proofed home, with a very friendly and submissive doggy to keep yours company. I have a ring doorbell camera that monitors the only entrance/exit; There is a very nice fenced dog park across the street with a dog agility course. There are pleanty of dog toys, chews and treats. The dogs are welcome on all the furniture, with a dedicated TV playing doggyTV in the background.
About: I've taken care of cats, dogs, and rabbits most recently, but either way super excited to spend most of my time with your fur balls! Pet care has been part of my daily life for over 8 years. Between caring for my own dog, cat, and rabbit, and pet sitting for many repeat Rover clients, caring for animals is already built into my routine; not something I try to “fit in.” I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your pet. I treat every animal like they’re my own by paying close attention to their routine, personality, energy levels, and comfort. Whether it’s walks, playtime, medication, updates/photos for owners, or just making sure they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away, I take pride in being dependable and attentive. My goal is simple: when you leave your pet with me, you should feel confident they’re being genuinely cared for not just watched. I always try to keep pets on the routine they’re already comfortable with. Every animal is different, so I tailor my care based on your pet’s personality, energy level, and the instructions my clients leave for me. I make it a priority to follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, sleeping arrangements, and household rules as closely as possible so your pet experiences consistency while you’re away. A lot of pet sitting honestly comes down to companionship and making animals feel comfortable. Many pets just want someone nearby while they relax, nap, play, or stick to their normal routine, and I’m happy to provide that calm presence and attention throughout the day. I also take pride in respecting my clients’ homes. I always clean up after myself and do my best to leave everything exactly how I found it. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, stress-free, and confident while you’re away.
“From the moment we did our meet and greet with Preston (which he accommodated last minute) we knew our babies would be safely watched over. Preston has a calm demeanor and is passionate about animals. He does his research and was nice to work with! He responded to all our messages and sent updated pics/videos. Our pups were happy and safe. Thank you!”

Whether it's an energetic walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I'll care for your pet with the same patience and attention I'd give my own. I'm dependable, communicative, and committed to providing a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
