About: I come with experience taking care of/sitting for dogs and cats of many ages and size and can’t wait to be your fur-babies’ new best friend! I’m currently working part-time from home and have a lot of time to take care of your pets anytime Saturdays or weekdays after 5 pm I have a Boston Terrier mixed with Jack Russel at home with a fenced yard. I do also have a medium to large crate at home if needed.
About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have worked at a doggy day camp where I got to care for and play with all different sizes and breeds of dogs and I love every single one of them! I have experience with giving medication orally as well as ear drops and medicated pads do the pups who have those adorable wrinkly faces <3 I currently work a full time job but I am available usually any time after 4pm and weekends. I am able to travel a little longer distance and have no issues with that. I prefer to care for pets in their own home as that’s where they feel comfortable. I treat all pets as if they were my own and give them all the loves!
“Michele was an excellent caretaker for our two cats while we were away on a long trip. She communicated quickly and clearly about everything and there were no issues at all! We definitely felt like our pets were in good hands.”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m a super loving and compassionate person. Animals have a special place in my heart. I stop and try to pet dogs every time I can. Pets are not just pets! They are family! I currently work remote and I have a flexible schedule. I have the time and space to help take care of your fur babies with love and compassion. I have a townhouse and have a space available for your fur babies. My basement is spacious for them to hang out and play or just sleep.

“Theresa was wonderful! She took great care of our kitties when we were away. Kept us updated with photos and descriptions of her visits. Very responsive via text/email. Will happily book again!”

About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 4-13 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. We have a large area for dogs to sleep overnight comfortably either on a dog bed or crate, whichever is preferred.
About: I have had experience with my own dog, as he was apart of the family for 12 years. I love being around dogs, and I will make sure they are well taken care of! I am currently home from college during the summer and working part time. I will be available for long-term and short term sitting on the weekends, and possibly sitting during the week as that is when I am working part time. I do not offer care in my own home, but I will be willing to work out something if need be of if it’s the best option!
“Jennifer did 3 drop in visits a day for my two dogs. She was wonderful with them! The dogs really liked her during our meet and greet and continued to look forward to her visits from the pictures she provided during the visits. I felt that the dogs were well cared for and was very pleased. Jennifer came by as expected each day. I would definitely use Jennifer again for her dependability and for her expert and loving care of my fur babies.”

About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. I currently work full time, but I’m open for dog walks in the morning, afternoon, and on the weekends. If I’m around on the holidays, I’ll have my schedule open during the week. If we do decide to stop by my house during our walks, I have a fenced yard and lots of space for a quick game of fetch! For daycare and boarding, I will have eyes on your fur baby 24/7.
About: I’ve been a cat lover my entire life and have grown up with cats in my home for as long as I can remember. I have many years of experience caring for cats and always make sure they receive the attention, love, and care they deserve. Being around cats from such a young age taught me how to understand their needs and make them feel safe and comfortable. I also regularly volunteer with a local humane society, where I help care for cats at my local PetSmart. Caring for cats is something I genuinely love, and I would be happy to give your cat the same love and attention I give my own:) I am available everyday for check in visits. On Monday, I have class from 1pm-5pm, Wednesday I have class from 1pm-9pm, and on the weekend I’m flexible and can do longer visits. As for the rest of the week ( Tuesday, Th, Fr) I work from 8:30-5 so visits would be after 5pm or before 8am. I provide a safe, comfortable, environment where cats feel at home. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection. I maintain their usual routines to help them feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I be sure to follow the owner’s instructions closely to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I can handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and cuddles. I will also send daily updates so you know your pet is in loving hands.

About: I’ve cared for my own fur babies for the past 15 years—from playful puppy days to their sweet golden years—and I’ve loved every stage. Now that I’m recently retired, I spend lots of time with my two pups, Piney and Blossom, but I still have plenty of love, energy, and attention to share. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying active, and I’d be thrilled to share that with your four‑legged family member. I have hands-on experience with puppy training as well as providing extra support and gentle care for senior dogs. All of our dogs joined our family as puppies, and several required daily medication. Our oldest, Pogo, had heart issues as a pup, and I cared for her throughout her life—managing her medication and making sure she had every comfort she needed as she aged. I truly believe animals give unconditional love and are the best mood boosters at the end of a long day. I’d be honored to share that same love and care with your furry family member. I’m retired, up early every day, and stay active by walking and playing with my two dogs. I’m looking to share that same energy, attention, and love with additional pups who would enjoy extra companionship and outdoor time. My yard is fully fenced, and I always clean up right away after potty breaks to keep the space safe and tidy. At home, I keep fresh water available on both floors so my pups can stay hydrated wherever they choose to relax. For senior dogs or those who need a little extra help, I have a ramp and dog steps so they can comfortably get onto the couch or bed and feel right at home. I will provide the same services and dedication to your home and dog(s)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
