“I had a wonderful experience with Caden! He was incredibly kind, attentive, and followed all of my instructions carefully. I really appreciated the thoughtful questions he asked, which showed me that he genuinely wanted to understand Dandelion’s routine and make sure she was comfortable and well cared for. Communication was great throughout her stay, and he sent the most amazing pictures that gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I felt confident that Dandelion was in caring and capable hands. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, dependable, and caring sitter!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs from a very young age. Friends and family have trusted and always relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and stay with their pets while they are out of town. I love caring for dogs, it actually helps to bring me a clear peace of mind and releases me from anxiety. Fur babies brighten my day and fill me with joy I love having a companion by my side especially because I don't have any pets of my own currently. I would love to be given the opportunity to care for and nurture your pets! I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to looking after your pups! I am free 7-days a week, only gone on the weekends for a few hours during the evening. I live in a townhouse and have a fenced-in yard with plenty of room to run around. I don't have any dogs of my own. I love to go on walks throughout the day in my neighborhood to get some sunshine, so your dogs would be taken out multiple times a day. I can easily crate the dogs if necessary. Willing to do whatever to create a fun, loving, and safe environment for your pups!
About: Since I was born, my parents and my family have owned pets. From my birth my siblings have owned their own birds, we owned a Dove for multiple years and owned a Black Labrador from birth. Scheduling can be discussed during the booking process. I will review the needs of the client pertaining to their individual needs and their pets individual needs before and during my visit with them.

“Alejandra was wonderful. She was punctual and sent us pictures of our kitties so we could see how they were faring. She also helped to make sure our slower eater didn’t have her food stolen by her brother- lol. Thanks Alejandra!”

About: I’m a professional dog groomer and currently manage a grooming salon located inside a veterinary clinic. I’ve been working in the veterinary and pet-care world for about 3 years, and I absolutely love being surrounded by animals every day! Working with pets has been incredibly rewarding for me. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, making them feel safe and comfortable, and helping them live happy, healthy lives. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful, so I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently working part time at the veterinary clinic so I will be able to spend the afternoons with the pups/kitties. Sometimes (and if you feel comfortable of course) I could bring them to work with me since there is plenty of space and toys (and they get all of the attention and love) here at the clinic! I have two kitties who are used to interact with other animals, I have a fenced patio so you can be sure they will always be secure and safe. I am also willing to stay overnight at your home if you think your furry baby will be more comfortable in their own space.

“Thank you for taking such great care of Belle and for your calm during the unforeseen interactions with other dogs on her walk. I’m glad everything went well and I am thankful that she was in good hands while I spent time with my family.”

About: I had a dog, her name was Kenya from 8-15 and she unfortunately passed from health conditions. She was a family dog I’ve known and looked after since I can remembered, my cousin gave her to me and my mother when they moved. As she got older, me and my mother had to give her medication for a couple months before, paying close attention to her habits during her later months :/ . I currently have a small, short-haired grey Cat named Sonny. I visit my cousin frequently throughout the month and I always offer to walk her dog because I enjoy walks! I’m currently working as a full time ortho assistant Mon-Thursday, Usually leaving the office around 4:30 pm. Fri-Sun I’m completely free. For overnight stays during my work days, I am willing to travel from your home to my job, leaving in the early mornings After consulting with future clients, I’ll keep track of any dietary needs, special care instructions and any indicator habits I should know about prior to servicing your fur baby!❤️
“Bryce has watched our dog champ a few times and we always come home to a happy pup! She sends great pics and updates. Highly recommend her and will use her for future bookings in a heartbeat”

Anna has been wonderful with our pup for drop-in visits. She’s a great communicator, always keeping us updated and making us feel at ease while we’re away. He can be shy with new people, but he warmed up to Anna surprisingly quickly, which says a lot. We’ve had a really positive experience and absolutely recommend her.

Hope always takes great care of our pets, follows our care instructions, and communicates timing and needs. We love having Hope care for our pets when we can’t be home as they are always happy and well cared for when we return. This is not the first time we’ve booked with Hope and it won’t be our last. Thank you, Hope!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
