I am born and raised with pets around the house. I grew up with 5 dogs and 2 cats. While Kris lived with 12 small to medium breed dogs all her life. We consider taking care any fur babies/child(ren) as happy pill (yes, it’s very addicting ☺️)

Gail and Kris are truly amazing. I'm so glad I found them. I had a wedding to attend in Europe and was so worried that I didn't have someone to care for my 15lb sweet little Schnauzer, Addie, for such a long stay (11 days!) My worry is that I wouldn't find someone I could trust that would never leave her alone. Yes, I never leave her alone. I've tried but have filmed her with cameras and she does a deep soulful howl that breaks my heart. Addie makes me laugh so much, she is so, so funny and I love this little one! I have truly anthropomorphized her and so I came to the realization that I would need help. Gail and Kris have taken care of her as if she was their own. I started leaving Addie with them for short stays to make certain all was well for both the caregivers and Addie. Addie loves them! They are so conscientious about feeding her exactly as I have instructed them to. They play and cuddle with her and give her lovely walks. They constantly lookout for her wellbeing and communicate to me with short videos and gorgeous photography every little thing Addie does...her eating, running, walking, sleeping, playing...it brings such joy to both me and my husband so see the tender care Addie is receiving. I trust Gail and Kris. They are just THE BEST!
We have had our Bo stay with Gail and Kris many times and each time we feel so secure and lucky to have sitters like them. They are truly a blessing for a family like us who only want the best for our pup.
Our timid and skittish dog warmed up to them instantly. They are so patient with Rex. They also take phenomenal portraits of our dog during the walk!
This was our third time leaving our precious babies in the care of Gail and Kris, and they still managed to amaze us with their dedication and care. They even managed to make my wife cry happy tears when we picked them up, showing the level of personalized care they give to every happy client of theirs. Every single day was a day of beautiful walkies and adventures for our dogs, with the most gorgeous photos and vids that seriously made us jealous — and we were on vacation! When we initially dropped them off, our dogs instantly remembered where they were going from about a mile away (not to the vet, haha) and got so excited, we could barely control them. Gail and Kris’ place is where happy memories are made, for the furbabies as well as their hoomans. They went above and beyond again to make sure our pups would eat, including with homemade meals. And just like last time, they came back to us extra clean, fresh, fluffy and well behaved — showing the great routine they had every single day. We can tell Gail and Kris are the best kind of dog people who truly love animals of all kind. It’s impossible to capture in written words how happy we are with Gail and Kris’ dedication.
Very attentive and caring sitters. My dog loves them and when he’s with them I know he’s in great hands. 10/10!!!!

Schedule
I work from home full time and my partner Kris is currently staying at home full time too, and both of us are mostly home on weekends. That being said, your pets will never be alone in the house. We are free to board and take care of your fur child(ren) short or long term if necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a townhouse with a fenced backyard. There is a nearby lake and park where we can take your pet for walks. Currently, we don’t have any pet of our own. But, we absolutely miss having them around. We could only accommodate 1-2 fur guest(s) at once given they are living in the same household, as we would want to ensure that we can give them the proper care and attention that they need. For safety and to maintain clean environment, your pet must be potty trained and vaccinated. What you need to bring? - Food/treats labeled with feeding instructions or schedule - Bed & Blankets - Toys - Collar and Leash *any essentials your pet can’t live without* If your pet has special needs or requests (pick-up/drop-off, bath, administering oral medication). Please do not hesitate to ask and we will try our best to accommodate. We offer pickup/drop off services within 10-15mins drive (Germantown/Gaithersburg area).
A typical day
Me, Kris and your fur baby will have time to go around nearby pet friendly parks and lakes in my area. We can take them to walk at least twice a day (could be more). Out fur guest(s) will also have a free range around the house, and can do indoor or outdoor activities, or if they prefer to just lay around and sleep/relax, that’s fine too. We would be very excited to welcome them in our home and we will surely enjoy each other’s company.
