“Antoinette provided drop in visit for our elderly (13 yrs) dog and was really great! She was a great communicator (kept us up to date and shared pics) and we got back to a happy and content dog. We hope we can have her sit for us again in the future!”

About: I have over 4 years of experience caring for dogs and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all ages and personalities. My family has a 16-year-old dog, so I understand the patience, attention, and special care that senior dogs often need. I have also pet sat for multiple families and have experience caring for up to four dogs at once. I treat every pet like they are my own and strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a teacher on summer break, which means I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to give your pets consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions or medications. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and care so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also respect your home, keeping everything clean and organized, and I provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your pet feel relaxed and cared for in their own environment.
About: Hi! My name is Jilli and I am a college student at Tulane University majoring in psychology! I love to take care of pets and go on walks! I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends for many years. I’m available during the summer time and college breaks when I’n home. I’m very flexible with timing and am always looking to be of help! I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of free time to take care of and play with your pets! I am flexible with distance and timing as well. I will always be open to whatever you feel comfortable with in terms of keeping your pet safe. Their safety is my main priority always!
“Super duper dogwatch trooper! Provided regular updates and timely pics. Great attention to detail, remembering little quirks I told her about our dog. I’d say even nicer things, but I’d rather keep her a secret ;)”

About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 4-13 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. We have a large area for dogs to sleep overnight comfortably either on a dog bed or crate, whichever is preferred.

About: I am pretty new to this but I have watched taken care of big and small dogs in the past with their own specific needs. I am available all day Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. As for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I am available after 5:30pm. I may be able to accommodate more days if my work schedule opens up. I will just let you know :) I am very vigilant and detail oriented. I will make sure that everything is left the EXACT same way it was as I entered. If not better. As for my own home, I do not have the capacity to keep a dog unfortunately.
About: I’ve cared for my own fur babies for the past 15 years—from playful puppy days to their sweet golden years—and I’ve loved every stage. Now that I’m recently retired, I spend lots of time with my two pups, Piney and Blossom, but I still have plenty of love, energy, and attention to share. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying active, and I’d be thrilled to share that with your four‑legged family member. I have hands-on experience with puppy training as well as providing extra support and gentle care for senior dogs. All of our dogs joined our family as puppies, and several required daily medication. Our oldest, Pogo, had heart issues as a pup, and I cared for her throughout her life—managing her medication and making sure she had every comfort she needed as she aged. I truly believe animals give unconditional love and are the best mood boosters at the end of a long day. I’d be honored to share that same love and care with your furry family member. I’m retired, up early every day, and stay active by walking and playing with my two dogs. I’m looking to share that same energy, attention, and love with additional pups who would enjoy extra companionship and outdoor time. My yard is fully fenced, and I always clean up right away after potty breaks to keep the space safe and tidy. At home, I keep fresh water available on both floors so my pups can stay hydrated wherever they choose to relax. For senior dogs or those who need a little extra help, I have a ramp and dog steps so they can comfortably get onto the couch or bed and feel right at home. I will provide the same services and dedication to your home and dog(s)
About: I have grown up with cats my whole life and always make sure they get all the attention and love they deserve. I have many years of experience caring for cats. Ever since I was born, there has always been cats in my home. I learned very early on what it takes to care for them and love them. I also regularly volunteer for a humane society, caring for the cats at my local PetSmart. I am available everyday for check in visits. On Monday, Wednesday, and the weekend I can do longer visits, how ever the rest of the week I work from 8:30-5 so visits would be after 5pm or before 8am. I provide a safe, comfortable, environment where cats feel at home. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection. I maintain their usual routines to help them feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I be sure to follow the owner’s instructions closely to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I can handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and cuddles. I will also send daily updates so you know your pet is in loving hands.
About: I will be happy to take care of your dog/dogs. My family and me have a lot of experience in doing so since we have our own dog, and often do dog sitting for our friends. I am studying online, and my parents work online full time. We have a lot of time and desire to make your dog’s stay with us comfortable. We are available at any time. I live in a big house with my family. We have a fenced backyard. We also have a super friendly Shetland Sheepdog, who will keep your fur baby company. We also live close to a huge park.
“Alyssa is truly the Best! Mia, my English Bulldog, has the attitude of a teenage girl, and isnt a morning pupper, Im positive some days she just doesnt want to move from her fluffy bed! Alyssa is amazing with her!”
“Our cats love Courtney! We always come home to two happy and healthy boys. The pictures and updates she sends are always fantastic. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found someone we trust to take great care of our kitties while we are away!”

“Anum quickly became loved by our 4 dogs and 2 cats. She easily remembered all the details of their feeding and schedule. She fed the entire crew and kept them all happy during a long Easter Weekend. Our emotionally needy GSP and barky Aussie became good friends with Anum. Even our very shy dog came out of her shell !”

About: I have experience working with the biggest Rottweilers to the tiniest Malti-poos and from powdered face seniors to little bouncy puppies. From working at a daycare and Bark Social, I learned dog behavior, signs of aggression or illness, and feeding. I’m currently on summer break so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I am available for pet care all week and all day. Within your home, I work to establish communication with the pet parents for safety. I am also trained in dog behavioral courses that detail socialization, illness, and aggression/anxiety signs. I am also willing to administer medication and pay special attention to dogs with special needs (I’ve worked with deaf dogs in the past).
“Our first time with Christina and using Rover and felt very reassured with the care we received. It was our first time having home visits to check on Charley. I loved the way Rover notifies you that the visits are occurring, what happened during visit and loved the photos you get as well. We will definitely use Christina again as well as River.”
“We are so grateful for Sondra’s care of our pup! She came over for a drop in visit on a day that we were going to be gone for a long day trip and took care of everything as discussed. I really appreciated the photos and updates she sent after the visit! She communicated everything very clearly before and after the visit and made the whole process so easy. Thank you Sondra! Willow can’t wait to see you again soon :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
