Having pets myself, my oldest dog being 11, I have experience in taking care of senior dogs but I also have a 3 y/o and have raised puppies myself so I am aware of everything that requires a young pup to a senior. “It was my first time trying Rover for my extremely high energy GSD. I needed to board him for an upcoming vacation and had no idea if anyone on the app would be able to handle him. He’s super high energy and super stubborn. Decided to give Colleen a try since she seemed to have experience with the breed. We tried a doggy day care day to make sure both he and Colleen would be okay with a whole week of boarding and it went as well as I could have hoped. He was a little bit of a problem in the begging it seemed but Colleen was able to get through to him and he had a great rest of the day with her. He came home exhausted which is also good for me!
