“Sandra was awesome. She sent me updates and pictures after every visit. She treated Cleo as she was her own pet. She was a wonderful caretaker. Definitely will have her take care of Cleo again. Thank you, Sandra!”

About: Since I was born, my parents and my family have owned pets. From my birth my siblings have owned their own birds, we owned a Dove for multiple years and owned a Black Labrador from birth. I am a college freshman, who will be starting the school year soon and will not be going to school far. I'll be able to only work certain days in the week due to school. Scheduling can be discussed during the booking process. I will review the needs of the client pertaining to their individual needs and their pets individual needs before and during my visit with them.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pups of all personalities. I grew up with dogs and regularly care for friends’ and family members’ pets. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications when needed. I currently share a very energetic 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with my roommate, so I’m no stranger to zoomies, walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles! I’ll treat your pup like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. 🐶💕 I have a flexible schedule that makes pet care easy to fit into my week! I’m off work every Friday, so I’m available for dog walks essentially any time that day. I’m also off on weekends, making me available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. For longer-term or extended stays, I would need a week or two of advance notice so I can plan around my weekend schedule. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that works best for both you and your pet! 🐶🐱💕 I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me or in their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of attention and affection. For in-home visits, I’m happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own environment and make sure they get the same love and attention they’re used to. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! 🐾💕
“Mary took great care of my cat, Sammie. I received short notice about a work trip, and Mary's care for Sammie gave me great peace of mind during a hectic time. She was kind, reliable, and I really appreciated the daily updates she provided. I definitely recommend booking with her if you're looking for someone to care for your pets!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl - and I have also grown up around pets my entire life! I believe my love for animals shows in the type of care giver I would be to your furry family. From puppies, to senior dogs, I have what it takes to adapt to each animal and care for their needs. I am currently between jobs, so my schedule is pretty free! I’m available to care for your animal in the mornings, afternoon and evening. Weekends vary, however my schedule is flexible. I will constantly keep your dog company, making sure they always have someone to play with, are well fed & most importantly, safe and loved.
About: What sets me apart is that I’m a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with over 8 years of professional animal-care experience. I’ve spent 4½ years at Banfield Pet Hospital and 4 years at All Dogs Club, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, high energy dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and dogs who need medications or extra attention. I understand the importance of maintaining their routines, providing positive reinforcement, and giving each dog the individual care they need. As a dog mom to 3 dogs myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’m able to plan my availability around my work schedule. I currently work Sunday from 3–11 PM and Monday–Tuesday from 2–11 PM, which leaves me available during the mornings and early afternoons on those days. I also have greater flexibility Wednesday through Saturday. With my veterinary background, I’m dependable, organized, and comfortable building pet care into my routine. I’ll make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, companionship, and consistency they need while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications, and plenty of love and attention. As a CVT, I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior and overall well-being, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different ages, personalities, and needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I also have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets and your home.
About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. I currently work full time, but I’m open for dog walks in the morning, afternoon, and on the weekends. If I’m around on the holidays, I’ll have my schedule open during the week. If we do decide to stop by my house during our walks, I have a fenced yard and lots of space for a quick game of fetch! For daycare and boarding, I will have eyes on your fur baby 24/7.

After having Bill come for several drop-ins I would not hesitate to continue to use him for Taco's care. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Boyds with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
