“Candice did a wonderful job caring for our cat. We appreciated that she came over our house to meet us and learn about our kitty’s care before we went away. She sent detailed notes and pictures while we were away so we knew that our kitty was being well cared for.”

About: I’ve had at least 1 dog in the house since 2016, I love taking care of pets and being present with them. I love their unconditional love and would love to help as many as possible!🙏🏾 I’m currently a student at Stonehill College and we have scheduled breaks. For now, when I am home on breaks, my schedule is wide open. I have a pretty consistent unofficial routine of going on runs, lifting weights, and hanging out with my girlfriend Personally, I have one dog at home and when I get back I love to take him on long walks. I also just have a mental clock of refilling his food and water. Every other week or so we get him showered and cleaned up. I’ve also helped take care of other peoples pets stopping by and taking them on walks.
“We were very satisfied with Don. He dropped in everyday to feed our doggies and let them out to do their business. He was very reliable and would send pictures. We highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!
About: Since I was born, my parents and my family have owned pets. From my birth my siblings have owned their own birds, we owned a Dove for multiple years and owned a Black Labrador from birth. I am a high school senior, who will soon be graduating and will not be going to school far. I'll be able to work today, next week, all summer and beyond, due to my flexible school schedule. I will review the needs of the client pertaining to their individual needs and their pets individual needs before and during my visit with them.
About: I have great flexibility in my schedule this summer vacation. I can even possibly extend care into the school year come August. I am looking forward to getting to know your pets! I am a teacher and I will be on summer break after June 18. I will have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to help take care of dogs and cats. I can come to your home for in home dog or cat care. I can also offer to walk your dog to get them out and exercise.

I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medical needs, including administering medication, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable and attentive hands. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to be home most of the day and provide consistent care, supervision, and attention. We spend a lot of time outdoors—walking in the neighborhood, visiting the park, and enjoying walks around the lake. I’m able to maintain a flexible schedule to meet your dog’s needs, whether that’s regular potty breaks, multiple walks, or extra playtime. We spend a lot of time outdoors—whether it’s neighborhood walks, trips to the park, or walks by the lake. I love keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy, and I’m comfortable in all types of weather. About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals for my neighbors many times, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, a mouse, a rabbit, a guinea pig, a hamster, and even a hedgehog. They trusted me to handle feeding schedules, cleaning, walking, playtime, and basic grooming for all eight pets at once. Managing so many different animals taught me how to stay organized, patient, and attentive to each pet's unique needs. I'm comfortable with multi-pet households, and! always make sure every animal feels safe, cared for, and loved. I'm a college student home on break, so my schedule is very open right now. “We are so thrilled to have found Karen! She took absolutely excellent care of our two cats on a recent trip and has such a great personality! She’s very detail-oriented and kept us posted while we were away. So grateful to return to happy, well-groomed and content kitties and a clean house! Many, many thanks!!”

“Skylar was absolutely amazing. This was my first experience with using Rover and she made me feel comfortable to leave my kitty in good hands. She alsi paid close attention to my needs and was very understanding. She also sent photos of my kitty to make me feel my Pebbles was doing ok. Thank you! ?”

“Simmone was a pleasure. The best review we can give is that we wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again should we need someone to look after our pets. Thanks a bunch.”

About: Dogs have been in my life since I was 12 years old. I have had 4 dogs throughout that time. I have experience with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. I am more used to smaller dogs, but one of my current 2 dogs is a 54lb pitt-bull, the other one is a 15lb pug mix. I also used to take care of a 70lb standard poodle for a family I was a nanny for. I am currently unemployed, so I have open availability. I am working on my master´s degree and would like to use this extra time to save a little money since I just got married. I offer dog walking and house sitting services. I can also play with them and provide a safe and comfortable envoinment. I will adapt to whatever specific needs your pets may have.
About: I adore my dog and would do anything for her. I recognize that there are many like me who would like to be assured of their pet’s well-being and care when they’re away from home. I would like to provide them with that comfort and assurance so they can have a worry-free vacation. After all, none of us would really leave our pets behind unless we absolutely had to. I retired 3 years ago so my time is pretty much my own. Having said that, I still have to run errands, get some gym-time in etc. so my ideal pet-sitting job would be one where the pet I am sitting gets along with my baby and I can leave them home alone for at least 3-4 hours without having to worry about potty breaks. :-) I am happy to follow whatever rules pet owners have for their pets while in their home. In our home, our puppy sleeps in her crate at night; she is still a baby - once she is grown and a little mature, we would love to have her on our bed - there’s nothing more heart-warming in this world than cuddling with your pet.
“We were impressed with Sarah's warm smile and open communication style as soon as we met for our Meet & Greet. Our dog had recently suffered an injury and so was not at her best, to say the least. Sarah was very sensitive to her needs, gave her her meds and kept us updated while we were gone with messages and photos. Additionally, she left our house nice and clean! We wouldn't hesitate to use her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Montgomery Village
Julia took care of my 3 dogs, two special needs puppies that are hearing and vision impaired and my older dog. She did an amazing job with my challenging at times dogs. She is reliable, trustworthy and was so kind and loving to my dogs. She sent messages and photos updating me after each visit. One of my puppies is very anxious and she was so patient with her. So lucky to have found Julia! We were able to go on vacation knowing our dogs were in her good care!

Nicole is the absolute best! She always goes above and beyond. She is kind and loving to my 3 dogs, two of which are special needs. She makes it a point to know what each dog’s personality is, individual needs are and adapts as needed. There is nothing better than peace of mind when I leave my dogs which I have when Nicole is watching them.

Dee Dee is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She is very reliable, communicates clearly, excellent with high need dogs (we have a senior dog with mobility issues and a puppy with lots of energy), and genuinely cares for our pups. She is our go-to sitter and we feel lucky to have found her!

Victoria was amazing!! My boyfriend and I had to go out of town due to a death in my family, and she was available last minute to watch my husky. It was my husky's first time not being around either me or my boyfriend and not having a friend watch her. Despite the separation sadness and anxiety my dog gave off, Victoria was a champ handling her. Will totally book her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
