“Bryce has watched our dog champ a few times and we always come home to a happy pup! She sends great pics and updates. Highly recommend her and will use her for future bookings in a heartbeat”

“Dee Dee was great with our three cats. She was very communicative and responsive to all questions and requests. Two of our cats can be a bit standoffish, but they warmed up to her very quickly.”

“I so appreciate Lynnette caring for my cats, Fredo and Fifi, while I was away. She did an amazing job keeping me updated and accommodating a couple tweaks to their feeding schedule. Both cats are shy and wanted to hide, but she was sure to locate them each visit, let me know how they are, send some photos, and to provide enrichment for them even though they weren’t up to directly playing. Thanks, Lynnette!”

“Addie was great with our dog—engaged and attentive. We felt very comfortable leaving Addie in charge. Looking forward to having her take care of our dog in the future.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for years through friends, family, and pets I've had the opportunity to care for along the way. Those experiences taught me that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and happy. Today, I'm the proud owner of a Cavapoo puppy, Oreo, which has given me daily hands-on experience with puppy care, exercise, feeding routines, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement. Caring for my own dog has strengthened my understanding of the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. That's why I prioritize communication, reliability, and regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is receiving the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to help them feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a flexible schedule and be present for the pets in my care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention while keeping pets comfortable and on their usual routine. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a flexible schedule and be present for the pets in my care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention while helping pets stay comfortable and on their usual routine. I also have a friendly Cavapoo puppy, Oreo, who loves companionship and can be a great playmate for dogs who enjoy being around other pets. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while their owners are away.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since college and have raised my own kittens and puppies into adulthood. I volunteered for two years at BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore, where I worked as a dog walker for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. Through that experience, I learned how to read pet body language, handle shy or anxious pets, and provide calm, consistent care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. Because of this, I can accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, playtime, and overnight care without long periods of pets being left alone. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and provide updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I prioritize safety, trust, and communication in every booking. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and household routines. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful of their space and ensure pets are secure at all times. I keep doors and gates locked, supervise pets during walks and playtime, and provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Theresa was wonderful! She took great care of our kitties when we were away. Kept us updated with photos and descriptions of her visits. Very responsive via text/email. Will happily book again!”

“Katherine did great with my two boys!! She is very prompt, responsive, and gives great updates. I truly appreciated her flexibility in my timing on the first day she came to check on my kitties. They were very happy when I got home. Thanks again!!”

About: I currently work at a dog daycare where I help care for dogs of different sizes and personalities throughout the day. My responsibilities include feeding, supervising playtime, cleaning, and making sure each dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also have experience volunteering with dog adoptions and assisting at an animal hospital, where I was able to learn more about handling and caring for animals in a medical and shelter environment. I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially my own dog, which has helped me understand how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I already work with dogs regularly at a daycare. I’m used to early mornings, consistent routines, and staying flexible with different schedules. I also have time in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends to dedicate fully to pet care, walks, and check-ins. I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets. I closely follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner. In my home or the client’s home, I make sure the environment is clean, calm, and secure. I supervise pets at all times, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient and gentle, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.

I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!
“Cassandra was very kind and gracious during our meet and greet. She is very knowledgeable about cats and their peculiar behaviors. She kept me updated with Matilda's daily eating habits and water intake. I was well at ease having Cassandra care for my sweet baby. I will definitely use her again.”

Montgomery Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brianne was amazing while doing drop-ins with our 16-year-old dog, Splotch. She accommodated us last minute when our schedule changed and kept me updated the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Brianne — she was caring, reliable, and attentive, and we would absolutely trust her with Splotch again.

Nicole is the most kind, patient, friendly, loving dog sitter. She goes above and beyond communicating regularly about her visits. I cannot say enough about her care and integrity when watching my dogs. She dog sat for our 3 older dogs previously. We have 2 new special needs puppies that have hearing and vision issues, one is completely deaf and mostly blind. She was incredible with the two new puppies and our older dog. It was so nice to have peace of mind and know that our dogs were in her very competent care when we were away.

Candice is amazing! We needed help last minute and she arranged a meet and greet and then was able to take care of our pup three times in a day when we had to be away. She was was patient and calm waiting for my pup to get comfortable with her at the meet and greet and gave great information on our Rover card! Will definitely book with Candice again.

Dee Dee is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She is very reliable, communicates clearly, excellent with high need dogs (we have a senior dog with mobility issues and a puppy with lots of energy), and genuinely cares for our pups. She is our go-to sitter and we feel lucky to have found her!

I can’t imagine trusting anymore more with my pet. Dymond is basically a part of our family at this point — she goes above and beyond for her clients and is the best dog sitter I have ever experienced. She is reliable, always clear & consistent with communication, leaves detailed logs for visits and notifies you immediately if there are any concerns or urgent needs. She is also so loving to my baby, sends me photos of how amazing of a time she’s having, I feel so happy knowing my dog has time with her during the week because she is so happy and content afterwards. I could go on and on, but needless to say I would recommend Dymond again and again!

Victoria was amazing!! My boyfriend and I had to go out of town due to a death in my family, and she was available last minute to watch my husky. It was my husky's first time not being around either me or my boyfriend and not having a friend watch her. Despite the separation sadness and anxiety my dog gave off, Victoria was a champ handling her. Will totally book her again!

Melissa was awesome, she remained professional and made sure my dog Maggie got some human interaction throughout the day. Melissa was very flexible and was willing to do any last minute requests I needed (changing out water, waking up the TV out of sleep mode) Thanks!

James is so kind and gentle with my senior yorkie. He’s very knowledgeable and reliable. He asked all the questions he needed in order to make sure he understood what Billy (my dog) needed in case he got sick or anxious. He sends pictures of my dog and gives me a quick report of how Billy is doing. I absolutely recommend him to everyone!
