This was our first time leaving Benny with someone else (we were away six days) so we were already a bit on edge; Sriju put us at ease immediately. Everyday while we were gone Sriju sent texts and pictures (usually once in AM and once in PM). She took Benny on numerous walks throughout the day as well as to the dog park. She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. I have been fostering since 2017 and have successful adopted out 11 dogs through Fetch WI rescue and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in DC. •• MY CARE APPROACH •• I aim to always provide high-quality and safe care by hosting AT MOST 2 dogs at a time (in addition to my resident dog, Kona). This is especially important to us as we know how crowded boarding facilities can be (AND sometimes sitters’ homes) and the stress this can cause on dogs. My goal is to be able to provide constant and undivided attention to your pup while in my home. I also require meet & greets before booking to ensure your dog is comfortable with mine. After booking, I still ensure that all dogs get properly introduced to each other (first outside on a leash, then through a gate barrier, and finally without barriers). “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. “Raghavi and her family were AMAZING!!! It was my first time booking a pet sitter, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I got so lucky! Raghavi let me do a little meet-and-greet before I even booked to make sure that Ryder was comfortable with her dog, which put me so at ease, and during the boarding itself, was so accommodating with Ryder's schedule (and went above and beyond by sending me lots of photos while I was away, which was such an unexpected but very nice and much appreciated surprise!) She was so easy to get in touch with, and when I needed an emergency extra couple of days covered, she was so flexible and easygoing about it. Definitely booking again!!! :)”

I had not used an out-of-family dog sitter before, and this is my first Rover experience, and Simmone asked all the right questions about my dog and his routine/personality that assured me she was going to be a trustworthy sitter for my boy. She provided photo updates daily and alerted me to any concerns right away (he wasn't eating and also showed his aversion to loud noise). With my permission, she was happy to add rice to his food to entice him to eat - she was happy to problem solve in the best interest of my pup! I'm thankful to have had such a responsible person watching my dog while I was enjoying time away with family. She answers to messages very quickly and send you picture of your fur baby while the pet is there . Our pet came home happy. She packed everything clean back to us.
