“Marylee (and her husband) were amazing!! I pick Rover people based on if I would want to stay with them lol!! At the meet and greet she was very thorough with her questions about the cat and dog and making sure all their needs were met. It felt like she has an understanding about the types of issues that could arise and how to deal with them. Very organized. Very attentive, warm loving people. I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I am done searching for Rover people… will definitely use Marylee again. Excellent!!”

About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. My whole family have them as family members. I adopted Colby, a mini poodle, 13 years ago and he recently passed on Mar 7, 2026 due to oral cancer one month before he turned 14 yr-old. I will board ONE NON-SHEDDING dog at a time so I can spend quality time with that dog ☺️ I would love help dog owners to walk, play, and love their dogs while they cannot and get some dog love for myself. I miss my dog tremendously so I am not ready to have another. Let me take care and play with your dogs and make them happy ☺️ I work full-time remotely. I know this experience first hand as I also worry about my dog’s safety especially when a sitter’s home has several dogs, which pretty much mimics a boarding facility. This defeats the purpose to me of my dog staying in a home, so as a dog sitter myself, I aim to do just the opposite. _______________________________________ Hi! My name is Dianne, and I am a long-time foster dog mom and have a foster fail of my own. I have been fostering since 2017 and have successful adopted out 11 dogs through Fetch WI rescue and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in DC. •• MY CARE APPROACH •• I aim to always provide high-quality and safe care by hosting AT MOST 2 dogs at a time (in addition to my resident dog, Kona). This is especially important to us as we know how crowded boarding facilities can be (AND sometimes sitters’ homes) and the stress this can cause on dogs. My goal is to be able to provide constant and undivided attention to your pup while in my home. I also require meet & greets before booking to ensure your dog is comfortable with mine. After booking, I still ensure that all dogs get properly introduced to each other (first outside on a leash, then through a gate barrier, and finally without barriers). Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. I have pet-sitted for dogs of all sizes, cats and fish. At home I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, 3 ferrets, a crested gecko and a tree frog. I am reliable and punctual. I am caring and kind. I am also flexible and will follow any schedule or instructions. I am a college student at the University of Maryland and during the summer I do have class on Friday morning. Besides my class schedule I am very flexible. I will follow any instructions that you provide as they are unique to each pet. If taking care of a dog I will never take them out without a leash or fenced in yard. If taking care of a cat I will make sure to keep them inside at all times. If you need me to take care of a small animal I will always make sure they are in their enclosure before I leave. I am very paranoid and will always make sure your pets are safe.

At the meet and greet she was very thorough with her questions about the cat and dog and making sure all their needs were met. It felt like she has an understanding about the types of issues that could arise and how to deal with them. Very organized. Very attentive, warm loving people. I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I am done searching for Rover people… will definitely use Marylee again. Excellent!!”

About: I love animals very much. I can always establish a good interactive relationship with pets and help them adapt to the new environment quickly. By observing and perceiving their needs, I can provide timely help and let them spend a relaxing and happy time. I have also taken care of many older dogs and know how to feed them medicine and care for them. I work from home so I am able to take care of the pet throughout the day, I take dog for walks in the morning and evening and take him out to play in the backyard every two to three hours. I have a fenced backyard and I have a six year old very well behaved and friendly little dachshund at home to play with your dog. Because I take care of my own dog every day and have taken care of different kinds of dogs, so I can take good care of your dog too.
