About: I’ve been a cat lover for as long as I can remember. When I was about 5, I started asking to volunteer at animal shelters (mostly because my mom refused to let me get a second cat, and I had to find another way to get my cat fix). These days I have two cats of my own, and I’m always looking for ways to make their lives happier and more enriching. I’m genuinely fascinated by cat behavior and enrichment, and I don’t believe cats are “low maintenance” pets. They deserve attention, mental stimulation, and care that’s tailored to their individual personalities. Whether your cat is super social, shy, playful, or prefers to pretend I don’t exist, I’ll meet them where they’re at. I’ll make sure they’re fed, their water is fresh, their litter box is clean, and they get as much playtime, enrichment, or quiet companionship as they want. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, so I’ll treat your cats like they’re my own. I’ll send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe, and getting lots of love while you’re away. I work as a freelance marketer, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit drop-in visits into my day. I know cats thrive on routine, so I’ll do my best to visit around the times they’re used to. Whether your cat needs a quick check in, playtime, enrichment, or just someone to keep them company, I’m happy to help. I know trusting someone with your home and your cats is a big deal, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, double-check that doors and windows are secure, and make sure your cats have fresh food, water, and a clean litter box before I leave. I’m also someone who pays attention to the little details that can make a big difference for cats. If I notice something that might be causing stress (whether it’s a noisy appliance, a favorite blanket that needs fluffing, a toy that ended up under the couch, or an empty window perch they usually like to lounge on) I’ll do my best to make their environment as comfortable and familiar as possible. I know every cat is different, so I’ll always pay attention to their body language and respect their boundaries. You’ll receive plenty of photos and updates after each visit, and I’ll care for both your cats and your home with the same thoughtfulness I give my own.

About: I'm semi-retired but really like helping people out. I know having pets can be stressful when you are away. I am here to make it less stressful and let you enjoy your vacation or focus on your work while you are away. I am semi-retired so I am flexible most days of the week (within reason as I do maintain a tech consulting firm). Weekends are possible, again, with enough notice and based on my own travel schedule. My wife and I have two cats, and when people come to check in on our cats, we expect them to be attentive to the whole house. Is water running? Does anything look amiss? A pet sitter is your eyes and ears...even if you have cameras all over your house. Having a dependable person visit your house lets you enjoy your vacation or give you peace of mind during the workday.

About: Ive taken care of pets from working at boarding big companies to sitting in my home for about 10 years and would love make your pet feel as close to home from my home My schedule is open to your pet 24/7 i only leave home for pick ups and drop off for kids and grocery runs but someone is always home and your pet will never be left alone! About: I love animals very much. I can always establish a good interactive relationship with pets and help them adapt to the new environment quickly. By observing and perceiving their needs, I can provide timely help and let them spend a relaxing and happy time. I have also taken care of many older dogs and know how to feed them medicine and care for them. I work from home so I am able to take care of the pet throughout the day, I take dog for walks in the morning and evening and take him out to play in the backyard every two to three hours. I have a fenced backyard and I have a six year old very well behaved and friendly little dachshund at home to play with your dog. Because I take care of my own dog every day and have taken care of different kinds of dogs, so I can take good care of your dog too.

About: Non-Smoker, car owner, long time dog parent. Available for exotic pets (lizards, snakes, tarantulas) when instructions are provided. House is single story with a fenced yard. My experience comes from the two 2 dogs I raised consecutively (now at peace). First was a small poodle named Zack raised from 5 years to a ripe 15. Then Boo, a terribly spoiled poodle bichon mix I’ve raised since puppyhood (see pictures). This has given me experience in all stages of life, including specialized knowledge in small dogs that require accommodations due to disability or age. Previous work experience at ASPCA for dogs and animals of all sizes. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am available at most times and hours, for both long term and short term. For walking as a solo service, I prefer daylight hours. Message anytime, but please call between 10am-6pm. I'm available for both boarding and house sitting. For house sitting, I would typically water plants as well, take in newspapers and packages, etc. I typically leave things as they are or better than I found them. My own house isn't very busy, so it's easy for me to notice if a pet needs extra attention or playtime, or if they're trying to get into something they shouldn't. Stairs aren't an issue. The glass screen door lets them watch the neighborhood as I sit. Fenced yard, clean house, nearby dog parks, and a safe quiet area. In the fenced yard, we have a stone patio and a garden of roses, hydrangeas, and a butterfly bush. A smaller metal fence guards the more sensitive plants. There's a "rest area" for pets that need frequent breaks. The clovers are growing back at the moment.

“Shen-Huan was perfect from start to finish for my cat. She communicates quickly, sends adorable pictures and updates on every visit, and also is thoughtful. My cat is elderly and needed meds and twice-a-day visits; Shen-Huan was very kind, very patient, very understanding with Ginger. She got her meds, got lots of love and scritches while I was away, and I came home to a very happy chill cat. Would absolutely request her again for our home, would recommend to yours!”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, and anything in between when helping my friend with their pet sitting business after we graduated from high school. My family dog had epilepsy so I have experience giving daily meds, emergency meds, and assisting during those moments. Does your dog love to run? We can go on leashed runs or dog park runs, let me know your (and their) preference! I’m available for evening walks and weekend walks! I can do morning walks but they would be really really early like 4:30am. If that’s something you’re looking for, I’d be glad to help! I have two cats so my place is baby proofed from floor to ceiling. My family dog was a counter hopper so leaving food on the counter/table/practically anywhere was a no-go. I have a keen eye for what they may get into and what I should put away before leaving. We always distract when noticing potential bad behavior as that is one of the best ways to deter focus rather than yelling. About: I've had a love of dogs (and all animals) for as long as I can remember. Though I haven't been blessed with a dog of my own, I often care for my cousins' dogs and cherish every minute spent with them. One of them is a handsome mixed breed little guy named Juno and the other a Great Pyrenees named Rosco. About: I’ve cared for my own fur babies for the past 15 years—from playful puppy days to their sweet golden years—and I’ve loved every stage. Now that I’m recently retired, I spend lots of time with my two pups, Piney and Blossom, but I still have plenty of love, energy, and attention to share. I have hands-on experience with puppy training as well as providing extra support and gentle care for senior dogs. All of our dogs joined our family as puppies, and several required daily medication. Our oldest, Pogo, had heart issues as a pup, and I cared for her throughout her life—managing her medication and making sure she had every comfort she needed as she aged. I truly believe animals give unconditional love and are the best mood boosters at the end of a long day. I’d be honored to share that same love and care with your furry family member. I’m retired, up early every day, and stay active by walking and playing with my two dogs. I’m looking to share that same energy, attention, and love with additional pups who would enjoy extra companionship and outdoor time. My yard is fully fenced, and I always clean up right away after potty breaks to keep the space safe and tidy. At home, I keep fresh water available on both floors so my pups can stay hydrated wherever they choose to relax. For senior dogs or those who need a little extra help, I have a ramp and dog steps so they can comfortably get onto the couch or bed and feel right at home. About: I have been a dog lover from birth, but no other pet has tested that besides my favorite bernedoodle, Pavi. I lived with Pavi and her cousin doberman, Oso, throughout their entire puppy phase (jump scare) and their dramatic toddler years. I did Rover for about a year and a half in 2024 and absolutely loved all the kinds of dogs that roamed through my house. I am not scared of a little mess and definitely not scared of cuddles either. I have seen a variety of dog personalities to the shy, angry, mischievous, and caring dogs. There were times I saw dogs with it all. I am super excited to care for and play with your loved pups they way you would. And don’t be surprised when you receive an album worth of pup photos after every visit. Right now I am working part time as a youth development specialist for MCPS, so i’m looking for something that would give me some physical activity and seretonin. I always keep my pups entertained by me or by any creative ways i can think of around the house. Hide and seek, peek a boo, fetch, tug a war, you name it. i love to play with them outside so that they can get nice and tired and sleep through out the night.
