“Lynette has sat for us two times and has done an excellent job of taking care of our boys while we were away. Our dogs love her. We feel comfortable having her in our home to care for our dogs.”

“Rene was lovely. She was kind, timely, responsive, and I very much trusted her with my cat. My cat was a brat, and she was very sweet about the situation. I would absolutely book her again and recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter.”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and currently manage a busy household with three pups of my own: a Pitbull, a Jack Russell, and a Shih Tzu. This personal experience means I am completely comfortable and skilled at handling all types of dogs, from high-energy breeds and large dogs to small, sensitive pups. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and specific routine, and I’m dedicated to giving your pet the exact care, exercise, and love they need while you're away. I work full-time from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, so my primary availability is for weekday evening visits, overnights, and full-time weekends. Because my workplace is pet-friendly, I can easily bring a guest dog to the office with me if daytime supervision is necessary. Otherwise, my schedule allows me to dedicate my entire evening and weekend to giving your dogs or cats undivided attention, exercise, and care. I have two excellent environments to accommodate your pet's needs. For dogs, I utilize my clean, spacious family home where my parents and my own dogs live. It features a great backyard for them to hang out and play in. For cats—or if a dog needs a change of pace—I can use the clean apartment I share with my girlfriend, which is home to our friendly cat. Both environments are completely pet-safe, secure, and tailored to keep your animals comfortable, happy, and well-supervised.

“Cathy took care of our cat for a week while we were on vacation. She did a fantastic job, sent us updates and pictures of our fur baby everyday. Would recommend for anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“When we returned for vacation, I noticed that my dog was well-trained. It seems that I not only hired a pet sitter but also a pat trainer. My neighbor informed me of her exceptional skills with my dog. Now they like to have her as pat sitter as well. She was very responsive and on time every time”

About: Dogs have been in my life since I was 12 years old. I have had 4 dogs throughout that time. I have experience with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. I am more used to smaller dogs, but one of my current 2 dogs is a 54lb pitt-bull, the other one is a 15lb pug mix. I also used to take care of a 70lb standard poodle for a family I was a nanny for. I am currently unemployed, so I have open availability. I am working on my master´s degree and would like to use this extra time to save a little money since I just got married. I offer dog walking and house sitting services. I can also play with them and provide a safe and comfortable envoinment. I will adapt to whatever specific needs your pets may have.

“This service was far more than I expected and Dee Dee was wonderful! Our old cat can be a monster to others, but she was accepted without problem. A true cat- whisperer! And the daily Report Card with pictures were reassuring. Highly recommended!”
“Dymond was wonderful with my cat! Very responsive, caring, and easy to communicate with. This was my first time leaving my cat since adopting her and I felt very comfortable doing so knowing Dymond would be checking in on her!”

“I can’t recommend Samantha highly enough! From start to finish, she was dependable, friendly, clearly cared about my two kitties and took the time to build a real bond with them. When the app wasn’t accessible, she was incredibly accommodating and kept in touch over email without missing a beat. I received videos and daily photos, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I’ll absolutely be booking again, and I’d trust her with my kitties anytime.”

“Stephanie did a great job caring for our cat. She kept us well informed with a detailed report card. Glad we could find someone close by and so accommodating.”
“Eva was great! We really appreciated the photos & reports that came with each visit, and our kitty seemed to really enjoy the attention Eva gave her. She’s dependable and a great communicator. We will certainly engage her again in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wildcat Forest
Candice is absolutely amazing! She is so communicative and thorough, and I’m truly able to disconnect and enjoy my vacation knowing that my babies are in such caring hands. She pays close attention to their individual behaviors and routines and takes detailed notes so she can pick up on how they’re feeling and if anything seems different. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s not just stopping by to feed them, but is genuinely getting to know them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. We feel so lucky to have found someone we truly trust with our kitties. I couldn’t recommend Candice more, she is exactly the kind of sitter you hope to find!

We’ve been working with Lynnette for several years now, and she has become an absolutely invaluable part of our pets’ lives. She is wonderful with both our cats and our dog — patient, gentle, and genuinely caring. What truly sets her apart is how she goes above and beyond her responsibilities. During one of our trips, we had a small water‑leak issue at home while she was caring for the cats. She notified us immediately, handled the initial cleanup, and made sure everything was safe until we could get back and fix the problem. Her reliability, kindness, and professionalism give us complete peace of mind every time we travel. We would hire her again without hesitation.
Michelle helped me out with my cat Peaches. This is my first time owning a cat and now first time having a sitter. Michelle was wonderful! She came to visit me and Peaches before the sitting and Peaches loved her. I knew I had chosen the right person. Not only do I now have a sitter but also a friend. Thank you Michelle for everything. Highly recommend!!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wildcat Forest. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
