“Candice has been wonderful to my Sullivan while his regular sitter was on vacation. Sullivan will miss her and we will be using Candice again! Thank you for taking care of my bsby, Candice!!”

“Rebecca did a great job caring for our dogs while we were on vacation. She followed all of our directions perfectly and provided updates and pictures at every visit! She was excellent with our problem dog who is very fearful of strangers and our little hyper escape artist too! So happy to have such a good dog sitter and look forward to using her services again for our next vacation! Thank you Rebecca!”

“I can’t recommend Samantha highly enough! From start to finish, she was dependable, friendly, clearly cared about my two kitties and took the time to build a real bond with them. When the app wasn’t accessible, she was incredibly accommodating and kept in touch over email without missing a beat. I received videos and daily photos, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I’ll absolutely be booking again, and I’d trust her with my kitties anytime.”

“Cecilia was great ! very responsive and committed, she genuinely cared about taking good care of our cat, and my shy cat warmed up to her. Would definitely recommend and book her services again when needed.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets, including feeding, walks, playtime. I treat every pet like family and always keep owners updated with photos and messages. I can do pet sitting in the mornings, lunch time, evenings and weekends to fit your busy schedule and provide loving care to cats, dogs and reptiles I am working from home, have fenced yard, small friendly dog and kids that love animals, if you prefer me to host your pet. I can also visit your pets at your house if it works better for you.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have taken care of them since I was about 15. Aside from my own pets, I’ve been dog/cat sitting professionally for nearly a decade. I have worked with all kinds of dogs with different personalities, from young and energetic to old and stubborn. No matter the size, energy level, or personality, I would love to meet your dogs and give them the love and care they deserve. :) My services include overnight pet sitting, walks, and check ins (including medicine administration) Thank you for visiting my profile. I hope to work with you soon! As a recent graduate, I am able to pet sit full-time until I start work. My calendar will be updated regularly. I’m available for in-house pet-sitting as well as walks and drop-ins. When I petsit I usually stay at my clients house overnight with the dog(s). Usually cats don’t need this overnight service so if you have a cat I can come by everyday instead of overnight. (Unless otherwise specified by you.) My lower rates for cats reflect this. I will not be providing services at my own house. We have three dogs and a small house. Sorry for any inconvenience.
“Christa has a way with animals - my cats liked her immediately when she came over to meet them before my trip. She sent pictures every day. Seeing that all was well helped me relax and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with my family!”

“Becca did a great job with my excitable Beagle and my very shy cat. You can tell that she loves animals, and the fur girls loved her instantly -- which made it much easier to leave them for a couple of days. I will ask her to help me again whenever I need to go away.”

“Lisa did a great job helping us taking care of my cat Jasper the 2nd time. She was able to identify an ant problem we had and resolve it to her best ability. Very happy with the help she provided.”

About: I have many years of experience working with animals not only from having them in my home since I was a child and owning them myself. I currently work and have worked at several jobs with different animals that were paid, internships, and volunteer. I own or have owned, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs, goats, and mini pigs. When I was in my senior year of high school, I only had 1 class left to take to graduate and the rest of the time I interned at the local veterinary clinic. After being there for 3 days, they offered me a job. I worked there in the evenings after school. I was able to participate in routine and emergency appointments, observe surgeries, and assist with a variety of laboratory test, such as blood tests. I volunteered at the local animal shelter where I ensured they had a clean and healthy environment for rehabilitation by cleaning cages and had toys for enrichment. I also socialized dogs, and cats in the shelter, by taking them for walks and playing with them and I volunteered at two different rescues, one was for horse rescue and the other for parrots. When I graduated high school, during college I volunteered at the local humane society where I aided in the socialization of stray, abused, abandoned, and surrendered cats and dogs. I currently work part-time as an Animal Control Officer in another state where I perform investigations, explain local laws, codes, and ordinances relating to the care and control of animals and issue citations for violations. I capture stray and unlicensed animals, transport injured animals and provide for their care. I also maintain records and reports related to work performed. I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I assist with caring for the dogs, cats, and small animals. I am willing to work with any animal. Caring for them is my true passion. I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available during the week and weekends. My schedule is flexible so I will be able to customize my schedule to fit your needs. I will follow all instructions my client’s request for the care of their pets. This will ensure they feel their pets are comfortable and safe with me.

Hickory Ridge cat parents share their Rover experiences
Vanessa took great care of our 3 cats while we were away! She's very thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly cares about animals. Our cats are normally skittish around new people, but she took the time to befriend them with treats and they really warmed up to her! Will definitely be asking her to pet sit again.
