“Cathy has been wonderful taking care of our feline children. Cathy even administered insulin injections to our diabetic cat! Wow! Great service! She was always on time and did exactly what was needed to follow the complexities of caring for a diabetic pet.”

“Theresa was wonderful! She took great care of our kitties when we were away. Kept us updated with photos and descriptions of her visits. Very responsive via text/email. Will happily book again!”

About: I had a dog, her name was Kenya from 8-15 and she unfortunately passed from health conditions. She was a family dog I’ve known and looked after since I can remembered, my cousin gave her to me and my mother when they moved. As she got older, me and my mother had to give her medication for a couple months before, paying close attention to her habits during her later months :/ . I currently have a small, short-haired grey Cat named Sonny. I visit my cousin frequently throughout the month and I always offer to walk her dog because I enjoy walks! I’m currently working as a full time ortho assistant Mon-Thursday, Usually leaving the office around 4:30 pm. Fri-Sun I’m completely free. For overnight stays during my work days, I am willing to travel from your home to my job, leaving in the early mornings After consulting with future clients, I’ll keep track of any dietary needs, special care instructions and any indicator habits I should know about prior to servicing your fur baby!❤️

“Dee Dee has been taking care of my cats for two weeks, so I can spend time with my family in my hometown. Please take care of them for the rest of the two weeks 🙏🏻 Thank you so much ❤️”

“Rene did an outstanding job taking care of my cat Max! She was always on time, fed him and gave him his medication, and lots of attention. Everything was neat and tidy when we returned as well. We will definitely be booking with Rene again in the future!”

“I so appreciate Lynnette caring for my cats, Fredo and Fifi, while I was away. She did an amazing job keeping me updated and accommodating a couple tweaks to their feeding schedule. Both cats are shy and wanted to hide, but she was sure to locate them each visit, let me know how they are, send some photos, and to provide enrichment for them even though they weren’t up to directly playing. Thanks, Lynnette!”

“Britney is absolutely wonderful she walked my dog many times and he was always very happy to see her she talked to him and greeted him with a gentle smile he always looks forward sure coming over Britney also took wonderful care of my cats getting them to eat even though they they they didn't want to because they were upset I was gone I hardly recommend her she is prompt and reliable an extremely trustworthy”

“Candice is amazing! My dog can be a little difficult because of his arthritis but Candice took care of him with ease. Very caring and loving towards him. Great pictures and report card after each visit. I highly recommend her! Thanks so much, Candice!”

“Catherine took care of our elderly cat recently. She did a great job with her special needs and provided feedback for each visit. Catherine offered and checked our mail each day. Thank you!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Stewart Town
Dee Dee looked after my two cats while I was away on vacation for a week. She did a great job and sent updates daily on how they were doing. Both get meds and she found a workaround when one of them decided to be difficult about it. I can tell from the pictures that they both appreciated her company.

Catherine was wonderful with our senior cat! She was reliable, attentive, and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We would definitely book with Catherine again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stewart Town. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
