About: Cats are one of my favorite animals! I've loved cats since I was three years old and my mom and I adopted my first cat, Charlie, from the city shelter. I even used to work at a local humane society. During my time there, I took care of everything from feeding and cleaning litter boxes to socializing the cats. It's actually where I met and fell in love with the first cat I ever adopted on my own, Penny. One of the best things about cats is that every cat has their own purrsonality. Some are ready to play right away, while others may need a little more patience. My own cat, Millie, is a shy senior, so I am especially comfortable with older, quieter cats. I'll happily stick to your kitty’s normal routine, provide fresh food and water, keep their litter box clean, give them attention and playtime on their terms, and always respect their boundaries. Since I’m self-employed and work mostly from home, I have a fairly flexible schedule and can usually plan pet-care visits around my work and errands. Caring for my own cat, Millie, is already part of my daily routine, so feeding, fresh water, and cleaning the litter box are familiar parts of my day. I'll only accept bookings that I know I can reliably fit into my schedule. I take being trusted with someone's pet and home very seriously. About: I'm semi-retired but really like helping people out. I know having pets can be stressful when you are away. I am here to make it less stressful and let you enjoy your vacation or focus on your work while you are away. I am semi-retired so I am flexible most days of the week (within reason as I do maintain a tech consulting firm). Weekends are possible, again, with enough notice and based on my own travel schedule. About: I've had dogs my whole life since I was 12 years old! I have lived with senior dogs and puppies and both together. Dog's truly are man's best friend and can heal the hardest of heartaches. They love hard and unconditionally and I will return that for every dog I care for :) Currently my schedule is wide open!
