When she first came to our home she sat on the floor and allowed our cats to meet her on their terms, she truly showed an interest in them and their hesitant feelings. She said at that first meeting what she would do, how she would do it in caring for our animals, she did exactly what she said. We now are much more comfortable to travel because we have a kind, caring animal lover in Rebecca to see to our pets needs when we cannot. You would be well served to talk with Rebecca to watch after your animals in your absence.”
About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. My schedule is very tight, so I do have to limit myself to the number of clients I take on. The more time advance a booking is offered, the more I will be able to adjust my schedule to meet those requirements. I care to the standards of the pet owners, and frequently send pics an updates as well as I ask questions when necessary. I also do my best to go above and beyond when i can!

About: I have many years of experience working with animals not only from having them in my home since I was a child and owning them myself. I currently work and have worked at several jobs with different animals that were paid, internships, and volunteer. I own or have owned, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs, goats, and mini pigs. When I was in my senior year of high school, I only had 1 class left to take to graduate and the rest of the time I interned at the local veterinary clinic. After being there for 3 days, they offered me a job. I worked there in the evenings after school. I was able to participate in routine and emergency appointments, observe surgeries, and assist with a variety of laboratory test, such as blood tests. I volunteered at the local animal shelter where I ensured they had a clean and healthy environment for rehabilitation by cleaning cages and had toys for enrichment. I also socialized dogs, and cats in the shelter, by taking them for walks and playing with them and I volunteered at two different rescues, one was for horse rescue and the other for parrots. When I graduated high school, during college I volunteered at the local humane society where I aided in the socialization of stray, abused, abandoned, and surrendered cats and dogs. I currently work part-time as an Animal Control Officer in another state where I perform investigations, explain local laws, codes, and ordinances relating to the care and control of animals and issue citations for violations. I capture stray and unlicensed animals, transport injured animals and provide for their care. I also maintain records and reports related to work performed. I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter where I assist with caring for the dogs, cats, and small animals. I am willing to work with any animal. Caring for them is my true passion. “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. About: Hello! While I don’t have any specific training on animals I grew up with a variety of pets all my life. I’m fond of our furry companions and have learned their needs and special requirements tailored to their unique personalities. I have a lot of downtime and can provide cuddles and or distance. I’ve never struggled with any pet, I enjoy offering extra care and even have a grooming station if needed. I love to be active as well so walking wont be a problem. I work from home for now. I do have appointments throughout the week sometimes but do not take longer than 2 hours. I wake up early and sleep late for potty break needs. I’m usually done with work around 2 and can take them to a park after or on the weekends. In my home I can crate dogs if preferred or let them roam freely at my place. My apartment complex has a little dog park and plenty of walking trails around the neighborhood for exercising needs. During our outings I will avoid other pets just for safety reasons. I have my own car that can be used for emergencies or longer trips to better pet friendly parks. They can sleep anywhere they’d like. If in your home, I will carefully do exactly as you say/request. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: I have been a dog lover for decades, growing up with chocolate labs. For the past 17 years I’ve had my sweet bichon/yorkie mix brother and sister (Harry and Bella), and now an 5 yo Chocolate Lab named Blu. Our dogs get along with dogs of ALL sizes. I have a fenced in backyard and and 10 year old loves to run around with the dogs and help me on walks. If you prefer walks be added to the backyard play, we have a great walk to the neighborhood park or local trails. About: Growing up, I have had several and feel very comfortable with most breeds and their distinctive traits. I am a believer that pets are just like children. They needs lots of love, attention and constant care. Because of my experience, I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing and caring for your dog. Our schedule is very flexible so it's easy for us to be there for your dog. We go on several walks a day, giving them a chance to go potty and enjoy playing with them to make sure they feel loved and secure while they're with us. Because we live on a 600 acre property, safety is our top priority. When we are taking walks with your dog, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure your dog is safe. You can bring your dog's favorite toys or blankets, however we have everything your dog would need to feel at home with us. I wash everything after each visit to make sure all of our things are clean for the next fur baby. We have food and water bowls, toys, beds, blankets, crates and even leashes. We want to make it as convenient as possible for you while ensuring your dog is comfortable with us.

About: Student at the university of Notre Dame. Home for winter break! Looking for some extra cash. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I think I was 8 years old when my mom started letting me walk our family dog on my own. Once he passed, we got a puppy, maxie who became my dog. I was the one that took him out in the middle of the night when he was a puppy and took him on all his walks. In addition to my own dogs care, I have been trusted countless times by family, friends and neighbors to dog sit/walk and have had only positive feedback! Lastly, I grew up riding horses so have a lot of experiencing caring for even bigger animals! I’m currently home for the summer from college working an internship that is only 20-30 hours a week. I mostly work that job on Tuesday and Wednesday so I am available to pet sit at almost any time all other days. About: Hello! My name is Dylan, I've grown up with animals all my life and love nothing more than animals. I have cared for senior dogs as well as unpotty trained puppies. I cater to each dog differently and schedule out playtime, walks, and eating schedules/diets. Please let me know if your pet has any medication, allergies, special diets, or any behavioral issues. Also be aware that I own 2 lovely dogs that love company and are great with others. My wife and I have differing schedules that allows me to be home during the day til 6pm and back home at 8:30pm. My wife is at home during the times I am away so there is always somone to take care of your pet(s). Additionally my wife and I both have opposite days off so there is someone home all day 4 days out of the week. At my house I have a fenced in yard, a wooded walking/running path down the street, and a dog park across the road. If you have any specific requests on playing and exercise let me know. I have a crate for pets apon requests but your pet is free to roam around the house as they please day or night. I own 2 dogs that at very friendly, but if your pet does not get along with others just know I won't be able to take care of them.

“Ameneh and Niki went far above and beyond while sitting our Shiba Inu during January 2026. We had not one but three plane cancellations due to the large winter storm resulting us being unable to pick up our dog for an entire week longer than expected. Ameneh was very flexible and highly responsive to messages, assuring us that our boy would be well cared for despite our delay and sending frequent pictures. Most significantly, our dog suffers from seizures and takes medicine to prevent them - when he ran out of seizure medication, Ameneh and Niki traveled to our house and retrieved more medication. I would undoubtedly recommend them to care for your pet as they will make every effort to keep your pet safe and happy; even in extremely extenuating circumstances!”
