About: Proud cat mom of 5 years, my cat Sonny is 6 years old. I feed him wet and dry food along with some nutrient supplements i add into his diet daily, I clip his nails every 1-2 weeks, and I give him a bath when he lets me! I’ve learned that when the seasons change, my cat usually drinks more water and so throughout the day I’ll refill his water dish. Sonny goes to sleep in my room every night, Hes genuinely the last one I say goodnight too, and the first one to hear my goodmornings. Theres little things Ive bought and found useful throughout the years that make taking care of him a breeze: Pet dental wipes, a metal brush for his fur, catnip toys while im clipping his nails and “brushing” his teeth, and lick-able treats i’ll give him every now and then, but primarily after he’s done with maintenance so he knows I love him!

Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. I’m in medical school and was taking an exam during Rudy’s stay, so it was important to me that the sitter be professional. Shadid was perfect. She responds quickly and is completely reliable. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I started out by helping neighbors take care of their cats and dogs, and over the years that love grew into rescuing and caring for animals of my own. I’ve shared my life with both a cat and a dog with special needs, and I even helped raise an abandoned baby squirrel. “Mindy has been great! We are getting tired of commercial daycare places where your dog spends 90% of the day in a kennel by themselves. We were looking for a person who takes care of dogs in their own home where they can be out and about with other dogs. “We left Lucky, our 9-year-old shepherd-lab mix, with Christopher for a week. It was the first time we engaged Christopher. Lucky usually has some anxiety during dropoff and with men, but Christopher immediately sensed it and decided to take him for a walk before I left. I appreciated that a lot. On past occasions, the anxiety has often meant Lucky doesn't eat for 1-2 days, or has an upset stomach--none of that happened this time. We got pictures and videos every day, and Christopher was responsive throughout. We will definitely want to use his boarding services again for Lucky.”
