“Cats are safe, sound, and very happy! Brianne was responsive, punctual, and awesome with our three cats. They have never taken to someone the way they took to Brianne- she did amazing with them. 5 stars!”

“Catherine was patient and took her time to gain the trust of my two elder cats. One of my cats requires an inhaler daily and Catherine was successful in coaxing her to accept the inhaler from her. We will use Catherine's cat sitting services again for an upcoming vacation.”
“Heather was a great sitter for my boys. She kept me informed on her twice daily visits and sent me plenty of pictures. I never felt worried or concerned, she is a very reliable and attentive sitter. Would absolutely recommend and request again. 10/10. <3”

“Katelyn did a great job taking care of our toy poodle Buddy. His walks were on time and we were provided immediate updates. Katelyn was such a pleasure to meet and deal with that we would trust her with Buddy’s care again. I highly recommend Katelyn for your pet’s care.”

About: I've been working with Rover for over 9 years now boarding, house sitting, and dog walking regularly and have gotten the chance to take care of many different dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I own a Lab-Belgium Malinois mix named Toby, so I am very comfortable caring for high energy pups of all ages. I am currently a hybrid employee, so I have flexibility to curl up on the couch with your pet(s), especially on Mondays and Fridays :) As I am currently limited to house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking, I tend to set up a meet and greet prior to services to determine requirements for the pets in the client’s home. This includes information about crating, whether the pet(s) are allowed to hang out in the back yard, what routine they have in terms of walks, etc.
“Dymond was wonderful with my cat! Very responsive, caring, and easy to communicate with. This was my first time leaving my cat since adopting her and I felt very comfortable doing so knowing Dymond would be checking in on her!”

“Cecilia was great ! very responsive and committed, she genuinely cared about taking good care of our cat, and my shy cat warmed up to her. Would definitely recommend and book her services again when needed.”

About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. My schedule is very tight, so I do have to limit myself to the number of clients I take on. The more time advance a booking is offered, the more I will be able to adjust my schedule to meet those requirements. I care to the standards of the pet owners, and frequently send pics an updates as well as I ask questions when necessary. I also do my best to go above and beyond when i can!
About: Hi, I’m Nathan! Animal care isn't just a hobby for me—it’s a central part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience looking after a diverse family of pets, ranging from high-energy working dogs to delicate toy breeds, independent felines, and backyard poultry. Whether your pet has four legs or two wings, I provide the specialized, attentive care they deserve. I understand that no two dogs are the same, and I adapt my approach to fit your pup’s unique size, breed personality, and energy level. Because I am currently on summer break, I have completely open, flexible availability! My schedule is wide open, which means pet care is my absolute top priority right now. Whether you need last-minute coverage, daily recurring walks, or extended house sitting over the summer months, I am available and ready to help! When I am house sitting or drop-in visiting, your home and your pets are treated with the utmost respect. I pride myself on clear communication, punctuality, and sending you regular photo updates so you can have complete peace of mind while you are away. I can’t wait to meet your unique pet family! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet.
“Melissa did a wonderful job walking our pup. She did a great job communicating and answering all my questions in a timely manner. Oakley seemed happy after his walk, and we’ll definitely reach out to use her services again!”

“Jenna is a superstar! She has been caring for our dog who absolutely adores her. Jenna is loving and sweet, she plays with our dog, and she sends us terrific pictures. By the way, I think she can start a pet photography business, because each photo is amazing. I completely trust Jenna with our fur baby, and we have 100% peace of mind that she is dropping in and giving dog love, fresh air, a bio break, and exercise. We feel so fortunate to work with Jenna!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!
“Cindy is great and for our first visit was very thorough in explaining how she would take care of my dog. Certainly made us feel welcome and grateful my dog and Nero got along great. Definitely will be using Cindy in the future.”

“Fabiola is simply awesome. My cats loved her and were incredibly well taken care of! Clean litter, she played with them and gave them quality time, their litter was cleaned daily! I’m so happy I chose her. Would choose her again!!!!”

“Love Jennifer’s report cards! She always sends so many pictures and updates me on what’s going on and what she cleaned! I know my cats are in good hands when she goes over to visit and take care of them!”

Redland cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is the longest time I’ve been away from my cat and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands with Rachel. She was able to give Pixel her oral medication and always provided detailed updates on her demeanor and playfulness for the given visit. I looked forward to seeing the summary and pictures each time!

Christian was very good with my cat, who is very cautious around new people. He did lots of little thoughtful things like leave treats around the apartment for when she was less stressed. He was also very flexible when my travel plans changed without much warning. He is polite and responsive. You can't find a better sitter for a cat in Rockville or Gaithersburg!

Riya is such a great pet-sitter! She took care of my cat Molly for almost 2 weeks while I was away. She’s super friendly and sent the cutest update pics. When Molly was having some trouble with her automatic feeder, Riya offered to stop in more often and even came on a holiday to make sure she was alright! I’ll definitely be booking again when Molly needs another sitter!

Alma was amazing with my two kitties! One of my cats is super shy and I was worried she would hide the whole time, but she warmed up to Alma right away and I felt so relieved when Alma sent me videos of my babies purring and happy. Also my automatic cat feeder got jammed one day and stopped working, but Alma fixed it for me:) So worth it! Alma is the best. I will definitely request her again to watch my kitties for my next trip!
