“Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. About: I only found about my love for dogs when I decided to get a dog a few years ago. My experience includes raising a chow chow puppy into a member of dog society by individual and dog park playtime, walks outside, administering medication, and enforced chill time as necessary. I know how anxiety inducing leaving your pets when you're away, so I will treat you the way I would like to be treated with many photo / video updates! I love all dogs, big or small, outgoing or shy! If your dog is socialized enough for a trip to PetSmart or marshalls, could do that too! To me, dogs are the focus of a walk and should not just be closely watched to make sure they are safe, but should also be engaged with, praised, and loved throughout. “Leslie was great with our black Lab, Sophie. She did a home visit first, and we talked about Sophie’s routine, predilections, and personality. We walked together and Leslie took the leash, handling Sophie well. She did a bunch of mid-day walks for us, and sent updates (usually with a photo or two). About: I have two cats of my own and a dog who lives with me part time! As a big animal lover I always welcome friends for little sleepovers. My cats generally like dogs and other cats if they are friendly too! I work from home so I am able to make pet care a priority and work around my schedule. It’s very flexible! I can make them a priority :) I have a townhouse, no fenced in yard but room to run and play. My dog loves running around on his long lead. My cat loves sun bathing on my deck which I supervise!
