From our first communications and introductory meeting before we left our 11mo Goldendoodle with her, Sriju was welcoming, gentle, extremely responsive, organized, completely accommodating, and loving. This was our first time leaving Benny with someone else (we were away six days) so we were already a bit on edge; Sriju put us at ease immediately. Everyday while we were gone Sriju sent texts and pictures (usually once in AM and once in PM). She took Benny on numerous walks throughout the day as well as to the dog park. She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. We highly recommend Sriju and can't thank her enough for making our Benny feel at home while we were away...and giving us the peace of mind we needed to truly enjoy our trip. THANK YOU, Sriju!”

About: I've been caring for cats for most of my life, both personally and professionally. I grew up with cats and later worked in the cat room at a local humane society, where I fed the cats, cleaned their cages and litter boxes, and spent time socializing and playing with them. That's also where I met Penny, the first cat I adopted on my own after falling in love with her while caring for her at the shelter. I especially enjoy taking care of older or quiet cats who might need time to decide if they like a new person. My current cat, Millie, is a shy senior, so I am used to letting a cat set the pace. I pay close attention to cat body language and I try to recognize what a cat is comfortable with. I'm happy to handle the everyday essentials that keep your cats cared for while you’re away: feeding, fresh water, litter-box cleaning, play and companionship, and following their normal routine and your written instructions. About: I have been a dog lover for decades, growing up with chocolate labs. For the past 17 years I’ve had my sweet bichon/yorkie mix brother and sister (Harry and Bella), and now an 5 yo Chocolate Lab named Blu. Our dogs get along with dogs of ALL sizes. I have a fenced in backyard and and 10 year old loves to run around with the dogs and help me on walks. If you prefer walks be added to the backyard play, we have a great walk to the neighborhood park or local trails. I’m very attentive and patient, and curling up with the dogs on the couch or bed is all too common. I believe dogs are part of the family. I welcome your dogs to join the family in a caring, energetic and safe home. I’m currently working from home and have multiple breaks taking my dog on walks. I’m typically running errands Sundays and prefer an early pick up or late drop off if on Sundays. I can fit my schedule to most drop off and pick up time and days, just ask :). I have a fully fenced backyard and am able to crate your pup on there own level (should you have an anxious sleeper). You give me their typical potty schedule, feeding times or meds, and I’ll adjust so you return to a happy pup.

About: Dog boarding: I have 16 years experience for caring for dogs at home including multiple dogs at a time. Additionally I have six years experience with dog sitting/boarding. My main availability would be Monday-Saturday where I have a hybrid/WFH schedule meaning constant attention and activities for the dogs to be a part of most days of the week. Dog walking: My main availability would be Monday-Friday. I live right by Rock Creek Park so there are plenty of trails nearby to avoid busy streets on walks. Also available to commute through the DMV area for any service. I myself decided to join this app because I have always love helping dog owners provide the best life experience for their fur babies. I understand that sometimes it takes a village to have a dog/cat constantly looked after. With this I thought that dog boarding and sitting could be a great experience for the dogs and cats alike as I’m a high energy person who loves the outdoors. (Tips are encouraged and greatly appreciated) I work from home so I’m able to constantly give dogs/cats attention. This means constant potty breaks, multiple walks a day with varying duration, and lots and lots of affection. In my home I have two friendly dogs (crate-trained) and a doggy door with access to a fenced yard. Nearby there are also walking trails and parks away from busy roads for the dogs to roam.

About: Non-Smoker, car owner, long time dog parent. Available for exotic pets (lizards, snakes, tarantulas) when instructions are provided. House is single story with a fenced yard. My experience comes from the two 2 dogs I raised consecutively (now at peace). First was a small poodle named Zack raised from 5 years to a ripe 15. Then Boo, a terribly spoiled poodle bichon mix I’ve raised since puppyhood (see pictures). This has given me experience in all stages of life, including specialized knowledge in small dogs that require accommodations due to disability or age. Previous work experience at ASPCA for dogs and animals of all sizes. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am available at most times and hours, for both long term and short term. For walking as a solo service, I prefer daylight hours. Message anytime, but please call between 10am-6pm. I'm available for both boarding and house sitting. For house sitting, I would typically water plants as well, take in newspapers and packages, etc. I typically leave things as they are or better than I found them. My own house isn't very busy, so it's easy for me to notice if a pet needs extra attention or playtime, or if they're trying to get into something they shouldn't. Stairs aren't an issue. The glass screen door lets them watch the neighborhood as I sit. Fenced yard, clean house, nearby dog parks, and a safe quiet area. In the fenced yard, we have a stone patio and a garden of roses, hydrangeas, and a butterfly bush. A smaller metal fence guards the more sensitive plants. There's a "rest area" for pets that need frequent breaks. The clovers are growing back at the moment.
