“Christa was pleasant and welcoming. She obviously loves cats. The only problem was our cat, Maurice, came home and wanted the attention that had been lavished on him! Spoiled! We'll definitely use Christa again. Thanks for such good care and affection.”

“Karen was amazing with Jazzy! Our dog has significant separation anxiety, but Karen immediately understood her needs and knew exactly how to help her feel comfortable and secure. The farmland is a huge plus offering plenty of safe, private space for dogs to play and explore. Best of all, Karen and her family treated Jazzy like one of their own. We had complete peace of mind knowing our fur baby was so well cared for, and we're incredibly grateful to have found a sitter we trust. The ample pictures and videos were an added bonus! We'll definitely be back again and again!”

“Samantha is truly a gem and cared for my dog like her own. She sent regular pics and videos. My dog felt at ease for 5 days with her. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!”

“Poh Huey is absolutely amazing. She took great care of our dog Belle recently when we were out of town. She was responsive, courteous, and very professional. Huey was genuinely attentive to Belle, which was greatly appreciated. She provides video/photo updates. Her fenced backyard with artificial turf provides a safety and clean playground for dogs. Her two dogs are super friendly. Huey is the best!!”

“Sofia has a very energy that made my dog Gigi feel comfortable right away. She sent photo updates everyday which was great. I think Gigi also benefited from getting to spend some extended time with other dogs, which she rarely gets. So happy to find someone in the area that I can trust with my dog.”

“Simmone watched my dog for a long weekend and he had a blast. She sent frequent updates and photos of h throughout his stay. I'd highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future! :)”

“Our fur-baby Charley looked like he enjoyed his stay with Terry and Shep. Because they provided daily updates, pictures, and videos we could see he was happy and content. I would highly recommend Terry and Shep to anyone looking for a pet sitter. They have a very nice house and yard so we felt very comfortable leaving Charley there. We can not thank them enough for taking such excellent care of Charley and reducing our anxiety due to leaving him with "strangers". We will definitely be reaching out to them again when we need a pet sitter.”

“This is the second time I've used Nithya for my dog Millie. I was a little nervous the first time because Millie is only about 20 pounds, and Koda is a big Husky, but, true to Nithya's profile, Koda is very well behaved. Now there is also Snowy who is also very friendly. I think Millie and Snowy had fun together, and Koda made sure they were behaving themselves. Nithya was great at keeping me informed about how Millie was doing. Millie is a snuggler, and, thankfully Nithya let her snuggle as much as she wanted. I am grateful to have found Nithya (and Koda and now Snowy).”

“I had an excellent experience booking a 4 day stay with Varsha for my Cavalier- Chloe. Chloe is a shy dog who gets anxious in new places, and honestly does not like most dogs as they overwhelm her. However, she became a brand new dog at Varsha’s house. She was playing, having a great time, and became fond of Varsha, her family, and their dog. Varsha kept me updated on Chloe and sent lots of pictures, which helped me enjoy my trip. They made sure she ate all of her meals and monitored everything. Her dog Milo has such a calm, sweet demeanor and made for a great host. This ended up being a really good experience for Chloe and has actually made her more trusting and open to other people and dogs! I definitely recommend her. Can’t thank Varsha, her family, and Milo enough!”
“Ameneh took great care of our Shiba Inu! She did a great job feeding him his seizure medication each day. She also gave detailed updates on his well being and what activities he did each day as well as several pictures. Thanks again for a great stay!”

“Rosebud had a fantastic “sleepover” for 4 nights. Yousef & Dima provided lots of activity and cuddles. Rosebud loved playing in the fenced backyard and was well cared for. Highly recommend—”

“Sharon was attentive to Milo's care instructions. She was communicative during his stay and updated me with photos and comments. Milo looks forward to seeing Sharon 🙂”

“Jason went above and beyond taking care of our pup. We got daily updates and could thoroughly enjoy our time away knowing our dog was taken care of by someone we could trust to give him the best care. Highly recommend!”

“It was our first time with Marylee and I loved the fact that she took the time to get to know us and Cosmo. I felt confident leaving him for three days with her. Marylee was super communicative while we were gone and sent us photos twice a day which I loved receiving. He had such a great time and was taken such good care that I wasn’t sure he would want to come back (lol!). Marylee was also very accommodating and flexible as there was an unexpected schedule change we needed to make right before our date. She was very quick to respond which also made me feel confident. Cosmo is our third baby (after two human babies) and we felt so good leaving him in her care. Looking forward to him having more future stays with Marylee. Cosmo had an absolute ball. He was exhausted when he came back and slept for a whole day when he came back (lol!)”

“Jen was awesome with Max and Daizy! I’m always a little nervous leaving them, but she made me feel so much better with updates and how well she handled everything. My pups can be a little particular, and she did great with them. You can tell she really cares. Definitely would book her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Sayuri, and dogs have always been an important part of my life. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, so caring for and understanding dogs has been natural to me from an early age. I have many years of experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. After losing my beloved dog in 2002, I welcomed a rescue dog into my life in 2015. Today, I share my home with Layla, my 6-year-old female Labrador Retriever, who is a loving and gentle companion. I have also cared for my son’s girlfriend’s two puppies when they stayed with us during their travels. I treated them just like my own dogs, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and a safe and comfortable environment. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, boarding, feeding, and playtime. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I always provide patient, attentive, and loving care. Your pets are family, and I will care for them with the same love and attention I provide to my own Layla. Your dog's routine will always come first. Since I work from home, I am available throughout the day to provide attention, companionship, and supervision. I am able to adjust my schedule to match your dog's normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods. Because I am home most of the time, your dog will not be left unattended. When spending time in our spacious fenced backyard, I carefully supervise outdoor activities to make sure your dog stays safe while enjoying fresh air, playtime, and exploring. During the warmer months, dogs may also enjoy supervised pool time if they are comfortable with water. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because we have a large, fully fenced backyard with both grassy areas and woods, I introduce every dog to the outdoor space slowly and carefully. At first, outdoor time will be supervised with a leash so your dog can become comfortable with the new environment. As your dog becomes more familiar and confident, I may gradually increase freedom with a longer leash while continuing to closely observe their behavior. Once I feel your dog is completely comfortable and safe, they can enjoy supervised exploring and walking through the wooded area of our backyard. At night, your dog will stay comfortably inside our home. They are welcome to sleep on the floor or in their preferred sleeping area. If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate, I can move their crate upstairs and place it next to my bed so they can feel secure and relaxed throughout the night. Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions, special instructions, or anything that will help your dog feel more comfortable during their stay. I want every dog to feel safe, loved, and at home.
“My two French bulldogs made themselves right at home with Piero and his family. They treated my doggos with great care and attention. It was also a huge plus that someone was always home with my girls. Piero was great with sending pictures and keeping me updated. It was super easy and I will be using him again to watch my dogs. 100 percent recommend - a wonderful sitter!”

“I would not hesitate to recommend Yuhui to anyone. Chester had a wonderful time with her! She is super attentive and takes great care of my dog. This was my first time booking Yuhui, and we are already looking forward to having Chester stay with her again when we are out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Candice is top notch! If I could give her ten stars I would!!!! 💚 We always recommend her to people requiring their need of a pet sitter. She was very sincere and understanding about my concerns about leaving our furbabies/family members, in general. I am a pretty spastic cat mom, and Candice not only understood that, she put up with my lists I left for her. If you need a sitter please contact her, she has extensive experience dealing with pets of all kind, which is so reassuring and stress free. She not only gave us a piece of mind, but peace in general. I would not trust our babies with anyone else. It’s nice to go out of town, knowing your cats will not have any issues and that everything will be like you never left! Run, don’t walk to book Candice for your next pet sitter/nanny. We wish every pet sitter was like Candice, but that’s why she is so special to us and we were lucky enough to find her! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Ten stars!”

“Rebecca took great care of my cats over the holidays and kept us posted with updates and photos. She was communicative and resourceful in figuring out an unexpected lockbox issue. The cats were healthy and happy upon our return.”

“I love these folks! They make Lila so comfortable and loved! She enjoys staying with them when we have to be away, and they make every effort to keep us informed about her stay. My faves!”

“This was Leo’s first time staying with someone who wasn’t family and we couldn’t have been luckier to find Shen-Huan! Our fur baby can be a little needy and ended up requiring way more than we expected, but she handled everything like a champ. She kept us updated, took amazing care of him and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Great experience with Christa, we were able to drop off Mochi and pick her up without any worries. She also gave us progress pics and updates on how Mochi was doing. Christa also was very kind about us picking her up at night even though we were running behind.”

About: Even though I am relatively new to pet care for pay, I have been caring for pets of friends and family since middle school. Due to my long time love of animals of all shapes, sizes, and species, I have learned how to read a pet quick in order to provide them with the best care possible. As a student on summer break, I have tons of free time to care for the pets you love. As long as you provide me with enough time in advance, I'm more than happy to care for your pets! I trust you know the best way to care for your animal, so by following any instructions and recommendations you leave me I will be able to best protect and care for them while you are away.

“Repeat customer! Stephanie is the absolute best cat-sitter we’ve ever had. Not only did she take wonderful care of our kitties over the holidays, but she also stopped by extra times to help out with a cold-temp HVAC issue we were having while out of town. Above and beyond doesn’t even cover it!”

“Becca was an amazing sitter. She watched my kitty Ollie for a week and had great communication, took lots of pics and went the xtra mile. Taking care of my plants, bringing in packages and even cleaning up around my house! Highly recommend.”

“Rosie took great care of our kitties while we were away for the holidays. She shared notes to keep us updated and to check-in with any questions or news. Her help was greatly appreciated!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have taken care of them since I was about 15. Aside from my own pets, I’ve been dog/cat sitting professionally for nearly a decade. I have worked with all kinds of dogs with different personalities, from young and energetic to old and stubborn. No matter the size, energy level, or personality, I would love to meet your dogs and give them the love and care they deserve. :) My services include overnight pet sitting, walks, and check ins (including medicine administration) Thank you for visiting my profile. I hope to work with you soon! As a recent graduate, I am able to pet sit full-time until I start work. My calendar will be updated regularly. I’m available for in-house pet-sitting as well as walks and drop-ins. When I petsit I usually stay at my clients house overnight with the dog(s). Usually cats don’t need this overnight service so if you have a cat I can come by everyday instead of overnight. (Unless otherwise specified by you.) My lower rates for cats reflect this. I will not be providing services at my own house. We have three dogs and a small house. Sorry for any inconvenience.

About: Hello! While I don’t have any specific training on animals I grew up with a variety of pets all my life. I’m fond of our furry companions and have learned their needs and special requirements tailored to their unique personalities. I have a lot of downtime and can provide cuddles and or distance. I’ve never struggled with any pet, I enjoy offering extra care and even have a grooming station if needed. I love to be active as well so walking wont be a problem. I work from home for now. I do have appointments throughout the week sometimes but do not take longer than 2 hours. I wake up early and sleep late for potty break needs. I’m usually done with work around 2 and can take them to a park after or on the weekends. In my home I can crate dogs if preferred or let them roam freely at my place. My apartment complex has a little dog park and plenty of walking trails around the neighborhood for exercising needs. During our outings I will avoid other pets just for safety reasons. I have my own car that can be used for emergencies or longer trips to better pet friendly parks. They can sleep anywhere they’d like. If in your home, I will carefully do exactly as you say/request. So please provide a clear and detailed description of your baby’s routine. Thank you for your consideration!
“Yousef was excellent! He was friendly, responded quickly, and agreed to watch our dog relatively last minute. He provided updates which included pictures of our baby. She had a great time! I would definitely book with Yousef again if we are in the area again and need someone. Thank you again!!”

He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

“Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. I would absolutely be comfortable leaving Rudy with Shadid again and am so grateful that I found her. If you love your dog and don’t know which sitter will be best, contact Shadid!! Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. I’m in medical school and was taking an exam during Rudy’s stay, so it was important to me that the sitter be professional. Shadid was perfect. She responds quickly and is completely reliable. I strongly recommend her!”

“Our primary sitter was unable to provide daycare for Buddy at the last minute. This left us in a jam since we were heading to ravens chiefs football game. I had little time to find another sitter and an hour drive to meet my party in Baltimore. Normally we always do a meet and greet but we were really in a tough spot. Lucky we were able to connect with Elisel she not only came to our rescue she was so easy to work with and handled a very dejected cockapoo who was really looking forward to spending the day with his pals at our normal sitters. She save my day and I highly recommend her. Thanks again”

“I highly recommend Chash C.! They took wonderful care of my 16-year-old toy poodle and gave her the extra patience, attention, and love that an elderly dog needs. I was especially grateful that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. Before her stay, they arranged a meet-and-greet so we could get to know each other and make sure our dogs would be a good fit. That thoughtful step immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my precious girl in their care. Throughout her stay, they sent pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and let me see how happy and well cared for she was. It was clear that she was treated like part of the family. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, dependable, and truly cares about your pet, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Chash C. again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid and cats since I was a young adult. I have seen them through teething, surgery, diabetes, and other grave illnesses. I have taken care of puppies and seniors. Ask me about my monthly package deals. Reach out for boarding information - it is a one-on-one service. I am coasting into retirement so my schedule is open both weekdays and weekends. I would love to fill it with more dogs and cats. Right now I have Astrid, my Westie girl. We walk most morning before 6 AM and start our day early. My wife will take care of her while I am out caring for your pet. Late evening I take Astrid out for a walk and get both of us to bed.
About: As pet owner of over 2 years, I enjoy spending time with dogs, My family too loves dogs and like to play with them, I have time to share my skills with other people pets. From Walking, Feeding or just keeping them company. My husband and I work from home, and Ollie, our dog, loves having his furry friends around him. I take him for walks three to four times a day because he enjoys it. My dog, Ollie, is treated like a family member in my home, and I would do the same in yours. I will always follow your requests, as you know what's best for your pet better than I do. Please feel free to give very specific instructions! It's important to know if your pet is house-trained, crate-trained, or has any specific escape behaviors, as this information is crucial for their safety.
About: Are you a dog parent who’s worried whether your sitter will treat your dog as family AND actually provide them with individual care and attention instead of just being one of MANY dogs staying within the home? I know this experience first hand as I also worry about my dog’s safety especially when a sitter’s home has several dogs, which pretty much mimics a boarding facility. This defeats the purpose to me of my dog staying in a home, so as a dog sitter myself, I aim to do just the opposite. _______________________________________ Hi! My name is Dianne, and I am a long-time foster dog mom and have a foster fail of my own. I have been fostering since 2017 and have successful adopted out 11 dogs through Fetch WI rescue and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in DC. •• MY CARE APPROACH •• I aim to always provide high-quality and safe care by hosting AT MOST 2 dogs at a time (in addition to my resident dog, Kona). This is especially important to us as we know how crowded boarding facilities can be (AND sometimes sitters’ homes) and the stress this can cause on dogs. My goal is to be able to provide constant and undivided attention to your pup while in my home. I also require meet & greets before booking to ensure your dog is comfortable with mine. After booking, I still ensure that all dogs get properly introduced to each other (first outside on a leash, then through a gate barrier, and finally without barriers). As an experienced foster parent, safety will always be my top priority. You can expect to get an immediate update to how your pup is settling in after drop off and daily after that. You won’t have to wait around for updates. Leaving your baby is also stressful, and I hope to alleviate some of that stress with constant, reliable communication (I know I expect the same with my Kona 🙂) My husband, Jake, and I work from home and would love the opportunity to provide individualized care for your pup. ———— ———— ———— ———— —— Since I do not have a backyard, I provide several walks throughout the day for daycare and boarding dogs as well as providing dedicated play time either in the house or in an unfenced grassy area behind our house using long rope leads to allow the freedom for dogs to run around (if requested). I make sure to account for each dog’s needs whether they need a lot of activity and stimulation or if they would just prefer to hang around the house and nap. I hope I get to meet your pup! I currently work from home and have a ton of flexibility to step away from my computer as needed. My husband works a hybrid schedule and will be home some days. I have a mellow 5 year old resident dog who loves to play if your pup is interested. Otherwise she pretty much minds her own business. She is a St. Bernard and Blackmouth cur mix who is very gentle and has had a lot of exposure to dogs of varying temperaments through fostering. She can’t wait to meet you pup!

“Stella is a highly anxious dog and we were very happy with the way Shruti and her family took care of Stella. They tried their very best to assure she was comfortable and even went outside of their own house rules to make her feel loved and safe. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a family environment and their dog is super friendly and happy!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I’m currently going to school to become a professional dog trainer. Because of my flexible school schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. For the past 11 months, I’ve worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job has taught me how to safely handle group play, recognize canine body language, administer basic care, and ensure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I’m currently going to school to become a professional dog trainer. Because of my flexible school schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve.

I understand the unique needs of pets, from maintaining routines to ensuring their comfort and well-being. What sets me apart is my genuine attention to detail and personalized approach. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, preferences, and quirks, providing care tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, I excel at creating a calm and safe environment, whether it’s managing high-energy moments or helping pets adjust to new surroundings. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. As a therapist who works from home, I have plenty of time and attention to dedicate to pets. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day, whether it’s for feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company. If your pet needs care in their own home, I can easily carve out time to visit and ensure they’re comfortable and well taken care of. Your furry friends will receive the attention and affection they deserve, with the added bonus of a calm and caring presence in their routine. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. In my home, I create a secure, pet-friendly environment where they can feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to be themselves. I ensure that all areas are safe, clean, and free of hazards, and I closely monitor pets to ensure their well-being at all times. When caring for pets in your home, I make it a point to respect your space and follow any specific instructions you provide to maintain consistency in your pet’s routine. I’m attentive to their needs, ensuring they feel secure while you’re away. You can trust me to provide updates and communicate regularly so you’re always in the loop. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved and cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

About: I have always loved dogs, have two currently, and been around them my whole life. I’m patient and kind and love to make them happy. I currently work very part time as a nurse and will be able to schedule my work time around your pets. If staying in your home, I won’t work at the hospital during that time. I love to do whatever makes the client and pets happy. I can accommodate whatever you decide will make everyone happiest and healthiest. You let me know and I will do whatever it takes.
“Stephanie has a real love for animals and goes the extra mile to give Paige love and attention. She’s so dependable and has helped in so many ways. Don’t know what I’d do without her.”

“Rosie does very well with my friendly but reserved older husky but also with my wild and crazy 2-yr-old foster dog. Two very different types! Looks like she can deal with most anything.”

He has consistently demonstrated exceptional reliability, arriving punctually for every scheduled walk and maintaining clear communication throughout our arrangement. His genuine care for my dogs has been evident in the detailed updates and photos he shared after each outing, ensuring they received attentive, safe, and engaging exercise. I highly recommend his professional and trustworthy services to any pet owner seeking a dependable dog walker.”

“Ameneh took great care of our Shiba Inu! She did a great job feeding him his seizure medication each day. She also gave detailed updates on his well being and what activities he did each day as well as several pictures. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I have been a dog lover from birth, but no other pet has tested that besides my favorite bernedoodle, Pavi. I lived with Pavi and her cousin doberman, Oso, throughout their entire puppy phase (jump scare) and their dramatic toddler years. I did Rover for about a year and a half in 2024 and absolutely loved all the kinds of dogs that roamed through my house. I am not scared of a little mess and definitely not scared of cuddles either. I have seen a variety of dog personalities to the shy, angry, mischievous, and caring dogs. There were times I saw dogs with it all. I am super excited to care for and play with your loved pups they way you would. And don’t be surprised when you receive an album worth of pup photos after every visit. Right now I am working part time as a youth development specialist for MCPS, so i’m looking for something that would give me some physical activity and seretonin. I always keep my pups entertained by me or by any creative ways i can think of around the house. Hide and seek, peek a boo, fetch, tug a war, you name it. i love to play with them outside so that they can get nice and tired and sleep through out the night.
“We had a great experience with Rebecca! She took wonderful care of our Labrador, Lexi, over a busy holiday weekend, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and made sure Lexi was well cared for the entire time. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”
