“Ameneh and Niki went far above and beyond while sitting our Shiba Inu during January 2026. We had not one but three plane cancellations due to the large winter storm resulting us being unable to pick up our dog for an entire week longer than expected. Ameneh was very flexible and highly responsive to messages, assuring us that our boy would be well cared for despite our delay and sending frequent pictures. Most significantly, our dog suffers from seizures and takes medicine to prevent them - when he ran out of seizure medication, Ameneh and Niki traveled to our house and retrieved more medication. I would undoubtedly recommend them to care for your pet as they will make every effort to keep your pet safe and happy; even in extremely extenuating circumstances!”

They walked our dogs 4 times a day through a safe wooded area with lakes that our dogs really enjoyed exploring. It gave them plenty of physical and mental stimulation. G&K made sure to capture these precious moments in the most gorgeous pictures and videos that kept our hearts warm throughout our 2-week trip. As this was summertime, G&K also made sure our furbabies were kept nice and cool, including with ice cubes in their water bowls after walks as needed. G&K also taught them important skills and routines, which we really appreciate. They came home to us extra well-behaved and relaxed. And when we picked them up, they came home extra fresh and fluffy after a bath and blow dry from their favorite spare hoomans. 🥰 And when at one point our dogs refused to eat their regular food, G&K prepared healthy and yummy homemade meals for several days — after first checking with us, of course! “Absolutely THRILLED with the excellent care given to our orange tabby by Eva over the Thanksgiving holiday. We found Eva via Rover and were especially drawn to her because of her profile photo with her own kitty. (Seems that most Rover caregivers are focused on dogs. Eva takes care of dogs, too!) We had a meet and greet with Eva along with a second advance meeting to turn over the key. In both pre-visits, Eva was punctual and professional, as well as warm and personable. She is also conscientious and respectful. For example, although we didn't ask her to do so, she removed her shoes at the front door. She was careful approaching our cat, allowing him to meet her on his terms. Eva took all of our instructions and asked great questions so we were all on the same page. She even asked for a sweeper to clean up the kitty litter. In addition, we asked Eva to bring in our mail and newspapers. She left the papers carefully by the door and the mail in a neat pile on the counter. She had washed the bowls and utensils and everything was so tidy when we returned. We had great communication with Eva during the visit, and we really like Rover's check-in/check-out procedures and photos. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

This is especially important to us as we know how crowded boarding facilities can be (AND sometimes sitters’ homes) and the stress this can cause on dogs. As the weekend was drawing closer I was getting extremely nervous that we wouldn't find a sitter, and if we did they may not be the perfect fit on such short notice. Simmone proved all my nerves wrong. From the inquiry process through the end of the stay, Simmone was quick to respond and very accommodating. She went out of her way to meet our needs and make sure our dogs were more then taken care of while we were away. During their stay, Simmone sent multiple updates per day with photos which made us feel as ease. Also the most important and exciting thing to note is our 14 year old, deaf, and partially blind Pomeranian did not seem one bit anxious upon our return. This is honestly abnormal for him as he usually has some anxiety when we are away. However, Simmone has such a calming energy that I don't even think he missed us :). Five stars for Simmone!
