She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. The more time advance a booking is offered, the more I will be able to adjust my schedule to meet those requirements. This is especially important to us as we know how crowded boarding facilities can be (AND sometimes sitters’ homes) and the stress this can cause on dogs. After booking, I still ensure that all dogs get properly introduced to each other (first outside on a leash, then through a gate barrier, and finally without barriers). As an experienced foster parent, safety will always be my top priority. You can expect to get an immediate update to how your pup is settling in after drop off and daily after that. You won’t have to wait around for updates. “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. Your dog will have the best day and you’ll feel great knowing he/she is in good hands! From a professional standpoint, Shadid is excellent. That makes it easy for me to fit in pet care visits and walks without rushing or overbooking myself. I’m able to adjust my routine based on what each pet needs. I take care of pets in the client’s home so they can stay comfortable in their normal environment. I follow whatever routine the owner sets, like feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I can also handle things like giving medications if needed and making sure everything stays clean and secure while they’re away. For dog walking, I focus on safe, steady walks based on the dog’s energy level, with time for water breaks and some positive attention along the way. I also like to keep owners updated so they know how their pet is doing and can feel at ease while they’re gone.
About: Student at the university of Notre Dame. Home for winter break! Looking for some extra cash. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I think I was 8 years old when my mom started letting me walk our family dog on my own. Once he passed, we got a puppy, maxie who became my dog. I was the one that took him out in the middle of the night when he was a puppy and took him on all his walks. In addition to my own dogs care, I have been trusted countless times by family, friends and neighbors to dog sit/walk and have had only positive feedback! Lastly, I grew up riding horses so have a lot of experiencing caring for even bigger animals! I’m currently home for the summer from college working an internship that is only 20-30 hours a week. I mostly work that job on Tuesday and Wednesday so I am available to pet sit at almost any time all other days. (I’m even available Tuesday/Wednesday mornings before 10 and evenings after 6PM) I hope to fit your dogs needs into my schedule! I am not afraid of a dog that may bark at me when I first meet them. I am happy to be patient and wait for your dog to warm up to me!

Sharon is very responsive, keeps us updated each day with pictures, and coordinates her schedule to check in on Freeda even during her in-office days. We had some travel issues and schedule delays, and Sharon was incredibly flexible. We highly recommend Sharon and will continue using her as our first choice for Freeda's care when we're out of town!”
