Hi! I’m Lynnette, and I live in Germantown, MD. I have always been an animal lover of any kind! I work for myself from home so my schedule is very flexible which allows me to walk or care for your fur baby. I have been professionally pet sitting on Rover since 2018 and I love it! I am privately insured so you can have peace of mind if any issues arise. My husband and I currently have 3 adorable cats. Rover has been an excellent way for me to get my dog fix! I have cared for all kinds of dogs, different breeds and sizes as well as ages from puppies to the elderly. I have a lot of experience with cats and have also cared for bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, birds, chickens and quails! I am able to administer medication to both dogs and cats. I do have one experience with injections for cats and am open to learning more. I have cared for many special needs dogs, including special feedings for mega esophagus and expressing the bladders of dogs and cats with back leg paralysis. I’ve always had a very calm, quiet, patient and confident nature which tends to draw animals to me. I really have never met an animal I didn’t like. So I’m looking forward to meeting your pets! My drop ins and walks start from when I enter your property to when I leave. I am not able to offer exact times, but a time frame of 2-4 hours depending on my schedule. If more precise times are needed for medication I can usually accommodate that, please just let me know. During extreme weather (heat, cold, wind, thunderstorms, etc) we will stay out as long as safely possible and make sure they go potty and spend the rest of the visit inside playing or cuddling. In the case of winter storms please have a back up plan in mind and I will communicate with you when I see any snow in the forecast to come up with a plan. I’m happy to hold onto keys for future bookings, however if I don’t hear from you for 2 years I will dispose of the keys.

I do not board but I care for pets in the owners home in whatever manner they prefer. I love notes and lists! Feel free to tell me any preferences in caring for your pets. Their safety and happiness are my main priorities.

During one of our trips, we had a small water‑leak issue at home while she was caring for the cats. She notified us immediately, handled the initial cleanup, and made sure everything was safe until we could get back and fix the problem. Her reliability, kindness, and professionalism give us complete peace of mind every time we travel. We would hire her again without hesitation.
Lynnette is an amazing pet sitter. She loves the pets, and they love her back. Great communicator. Follows instructions and is proactive. Goes above and beyond. Could not have asked for a better sitter.
Lynette is Awesome! Great with the animals, clear communicator, and left both the house and the animals in great shape. My dog is very old, and she was great with him. I strongly recommend Lynnette!
Lynette was amazing. We did a meet-and-greet, and told her that our pup likes walking but also sniffing. Lynette took a ton of pictures and Lucy was obviously enjoying her walks. I have a high degree of trust that Lynette could house sit my pets, and will definitely look to her for future care.

I have a very large dog who can be very selective with people. Lynette was great with her and my dog was so exited to see her. I also really appreciated the flexibility with my schedule. Will def rebook!!

Schedule
I work for myself from home so my schedule is very flexible. I have regular weekday midday walks as well as weekends when clients go out of town. I always keep my calendar updated but feel free to ask!
