About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds for years and have three of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’m studying to become a veterinarian and work part-time at a pet store, which has given me strong knowledge of pet health, behavior, and nutrition. I also have hands-on experience fostering senior dogs, sitting for cats, caring for a pregnant dog, and helping raise a litter of seven puppies. About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: Even though I am relatively new to pet care for pay, I have been caring for pets of friends and family since middle school. About: I've had experience with an array of animals, including puppies, senior dogs, and cats. I'm able to handle high-energy dogs and to give them the exercise they need. I currently also co-parent a senior cat who requires medication morning and night. I'm consistent and can handle medication resistant pets with gentle care. My schedule is currently very open this summer as a full-time art student, so I can dedicate as much time as needed to pets. I understand that the needs of each animal are different! I have watched over a dog that needed to be crated. I take about 4 to 5 walks depending on how long I'm watching a dog.

About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life whether it be the 2 dogs that have been part of my family or taking care of neighbors dogs when they are out of town. I currently work part time so my schedule for pet care is very flexible and I would be available at most hours of the day. I have experience taking care of older dogs who just need someone to hang out with and I’ve taken care of younger hyper dogs that warrant extra attention. I am comfortable walking dogs on and off leash and crating them if need be.

Now that I’m recently retired, I spend lots of time with my two pups, Piney and Blossom, but I still have plenty of love, energy, and attention to share. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying active, and I’d be thrilled to share that with your four‑legged family member. I have hands-on experience with puppy training as well as providing extra support and gentle care for senior dogs. All of our dogs joined our family as puppies, and several required daily medication. Our oldest, Pogo, had heart issues as a pup, and I cared for her throughout her life—managing her medication and making sure she had every comfort she needed as she aged. I truly believe animals give unconditional love and are the best mood boosters at the end of a long day. I’d be honored to share that same love and care with your furry family member. I’m retired, up early every day, and stay active by walking and playing with my two dogs. I’m looking to share that same energy, attention, and love with additional pups who would enjoy extra companionship and outdoor time. My yard is fully fenced, and I always clean up right away after potty breaks to keep the space safe and tidy. At home, I keep fresh water available on both floors so my pups can stay hydrated wherever they choose to relax. For senior dogs or those who need a little extra help, I have a ramp and dog steps so they can comfortably get onto the couch or bed and feel right at home. About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: I'm a huge dog lover and have one of my own who I love to spoil. He is a 5 year old beagle mix who loves going on walks and I always take him on for long ones when I can. My children and I love to play with him by throwing him his ball, although he hasn't yet mastered bringing the ball back to us yet. I grew up with dogs and have always loved to play with them and kiss them. I get along very well with all kinds of dogs and have never had any problems before when meeting new dogs. I'm very responsible and trust worthy and will ensure that your dog gets the best care while in my hands. I'm typically at home around 3 and I am free afterwords. On weekends however, I am free all day.
