“Rebecca did a great job caring for our dogs while we were on vacation. She followed all of our directions perfectly and provided updates and pictures at every visit! She was excellent with our problem dog who is very fearful of strangers and our little hyper escape artist too! So happy to have such a good dog sitter and look forward to using her services again for our next vacation! Thank you Rebecca!”

About: I've raised 2 daughters to adulthood and 7 cats over the years. I've dog sat for neighbors and answered local ads for sitting/walks. I have experience giving cats medicine and cleaning up messes.I love animals! I'm currently a stay home Mom looking for a flexible income while getting excerise and being my own boss. I use to own a business so I'm organized, responsible and dependable. I currently have 2 cats who I feed daily, one gets medicine mixed into her dinner wet food and she's on a diet. My other cat is free fed dry food all day because she has a fast metabolism and is a perfect weight, plus she gets wet food for dinner. Their litter boxes get cleaned every other day. So, I'm use to special feeding needs of fur babies.
About: I have cared for my 15 year old pup since she was 8 months old. I know the ups and downs of being a pet partner and the unconditional love it brings to life. Also, I am the person who might notice your fur baby before you, so apologies in advance ;) Currently I am not working but in graduate school. I have been interviewing for a part time job so that might be added to my schedule eventually. Please contact me for me details on person schedule as it can change for each semester. I am currently only looking to walk dogs or do check ins. Currently my dog takes 4-5 walks a day since she is elderly. She is taken care of like a human and always has been. I never leave my dog home alone for more than 6-8 hours.

About: With years of hands-on pet care experience, I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. My skills in providing compassionate, attentive, and reliable care ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. This dedication and expertise truly set me apart from others in pet sitting. I am free usually any day of the week, but work Tuesday and Friday mornings until 10:30 and have training in the afternoons on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. I treat every animal the same, with love, respect, and care. I play with them, take them on nice and long walks. I never get bored with animals especially dogs and cats and truly enjoy taking care and satisfying others pets.
“Mikayla did a fantastic job with my kitties. She took great care of my one diabetic insulin dependent Maine Coon. Spent a lot of quality time with them and went above and beyond in their care. Thanks!”

“Alexis was a great caregiver for my sweet, old cat. On the first day, when Kippy did not appear to get her food and meds, Alexis searched and found her hiding place, thus ensuring Kippy got what she needed that morning. Alexis’s kind and gentle demeanor soon made Kippy lose her fear and she began greeting Alexis at the door. I would definitely hope Alexis was available the next time I need Killy care.”

About: My friends and family members have always called me the biggest dog person they know. I love dogs and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ll give your pup my undivided when we’re together! I specialize in walks, belly rubs, tugs of war, and treat dispensing. I’m comfortable with all breeds and have forged relationships with dogs who were “challenging” at first but ended up becoming my pals. I work from home most of the time and am very flexible with my weekends, so my schedule allows for me to board dogs, watch them during the day, and take them on long walks to get their daily exercise fix. I currently work from home and can provide hands on care 7 days a week! Your pet will get frequent potty breaks and can play in my back yard. I have a fenced in back yard and a warm home with plenty of toys and treats to keep your dog occupied and happy! I also live close to a park where there’s plenty of room for exercise.
“Joshua agreed to drop-in visits on short notice. I was in a real bind after another sitter cancelled on me last minute, so I’m very grateful to him. I returned home to happy cats.”
“Ariana took care of our 17 year old cat for over 3 weeks while we were away. We are relatively new to this area and were a little reluctant to let someone we didn't know visit our house and take care of our cat. We feel very lucky for finding Ariana. She did a wonderful job taking care of Dashy and communicating with us. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter.”

About: I started dog sitting for neighbors when I was in middle school and now I’m in my forties so that’s a few decades of experience! I’m a teacher looking to make some money over summer break, but I also want to pet and cuddle as many dogs and cats as possible while I’m at it. I will love your pets as if they were my own, and I can’t wait to meet them! (I also have four cats and two dogs of my own.) I’m a teacher on summer break, so my availability is wide open! Happy to stop by as many times as needed to take care of your furbabies. My dogs are young golden retrievers, so I’m quite familiar and comfortable with high energy pups. I’m extra cautious about hot asphalt on sunny summer days, and I’ll try my best to ensure your pup doesn’t use your neighbors lawn as a potty! I will take my time with your pets and get to know them so that they will hopefully be as happy to see me as I am to see them! I won’t just rush in and out, I’ll give them some extra pets and hugs and make sure they know that they’re the best boy/ girl in the world!
About: I have grown up with pets my whole life! I love animals of all kinds! Currently, I have two dogs that are 3 & 5. I also recently adopted a cat of my own, and he is the sweetest thing ever! Currently, I am a Junior at Flagler College! I work remote for my job in Maryland, but I also am working on my own pet sitting business, I Stay, U Go!! While I do not take dogs in my own home, when it comes to the clients home I work pretty much entirely from there house, but may have to go into work from time to time. Usually when I go, I’m gone for no more than about 4-5 hours.
“Dominique does a great job. She communicates well during my travel and let's me know how my baby is doing. I've used her over three years and would recommend her to anyone .”

About: I have a variety of experience with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament. A few years ago, I cared for my senior dog and helped him with mobility, comfort, and daily medical routines. Now, I’m caring for two young dogs (ages 2 & 3) that I’ve trained myself from when they were puppies. Along with personal experience, I have school-based veterinary training, including first aid, administering medications, and knowledge with health concerns. I also spent a year working as a professional dog walker at a boarding facility to learn professionalism. Overall, I have a mix of compassion, knowledge, and training to give every pet the proper care. I am a student currently, so I’m available anytime from 3pm-10pm on weekdays or anytime from 7am-10pm on the weekends. About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I love animals. I find it an honor for someone to trust me with their furry friends. I work as a free lancer so I’m available most days from 8am-6pm. About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s been a lifelong passion. From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by animals and have dedicated my life to understanding and supporting their needs. I am a certified veterinary assistant and have worked professionally as a veterinary technician in a veterinary office in Utah, giving me a strong medical background and the ability to recognize and respond to a wide range of health and behavioral concerns. My experience also includes working in multiple kennels across many states where I cared for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This has given me the skills to handle everything from energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra patience and care. At home, I’m a proud pet owner myself. I have a 13-year-old Chihuahua that I’ve raised since he was a puppy, as well as an 11-year-old pit bull mix I rescued from a shelter in 2017, and my beloved cat I adopted in 2023. My own pets have given me firsthand experience with aging animals, rescue care, and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment. When you trust me with your pet, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated like family—with compassion, experience, and the highest level of care. I am open most days, as I homeschool my child. Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for personal time but I am available in the morning and night. I can let your dog out in your back yard, take them for a walk, clean litter boxes, do playtime, give food, water, and medications on their schedule.
About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels — from playful young labs and doodles to senior dogs and cats needing extra patience and attention. I’m naturally calm and gentle, but I also love matching a pet’s energy through play, walks, and engagement. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important trust and communication are, so I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Since I’m home from college for the summer, I have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to fully focus on pet care. I’m able to provide pets with lots of attention, companionship, exercise, and regular updates for owners throughout the day. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking to their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, feeding, and companionship while adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos for owners while they’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Market
Misty was fantastic watching our dog Theo while I was away. We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, Misty was incredibly reliable and kept us updated throughout the whole stay. We always knew exactly how my pup was doing, with regular updates and prompt responses. We’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter

Makenzie was fantastic. Our dogs were a little slow to get used to her as this was their first time with a Rover and she was patient and considerate. Also she’s just right around the corner so this was a perfect arrangement. I would highly recommend Mackenzie to all!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
