“Samantha is truly a gem and cared for my dog like her own. She sent regular pics and videos. My dog felt at ease for 5 days with her. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!”

“Our experience w/ Dan’s boarding was fantastic. We came from Chicago for family time where a 94pnd 3 year old German Shepard would not be having fun. Booking w/ Dan was easy, great communication and just a relief to meet him, tour the beautiful land they have. Instantly knew our girl would be just fine and she so was all dog smiles! Thank you Dan and we will see you again next trip or after….. Respectfully, Erica, Nancy, & Hendrix”

“Terri was the epitome of perfect. She was just what my pet Blossom needed. Attention, affection, love, she filled all of those things, and then some. She took many pictures kept us up-to-date, and eased my anxiety!!! I would use her again and again and again, top-notch for sure!!!”

“Michelle was AMAZING with my little girl! I felt completely at ease being away because she truly put her heart and soul into the visit. Will definitely be bringing my girl back for another stay as she had SO much fun and received SO much love!”

“Karen was amazing with Jazzy! Our dog has significant separation anxiety, but Karen immediately understood her needs and knew exactly how to help her feel comfortable and secure. The farmland is a huge plus offering plenty of safe, private space for dogs to play and explore. Best of all, Karen and her family treated Jazzy like one of their own. We had complete peace of mind knowing our fur baby was so well cared for, and we're incredibly grateful to have found a sitter we trust. The ample pictures and videos were an added bonus! We'll definitely be back again and again!”

“I had to leave my dog Thenji with Adrienne and Nick at very short notice. They were able to take her. It was so reassuring to know that she was being so lovingly cared for!”

“Kathy was wonderful and sent daily updates. Our dog has never been with a stranger during a vacation so we were nervous but she had our mind at ease the whole time. We did a meet and greet and she was welcoming and great with the dog. Everything went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier.”

“Annette is the best! I actually hesitate to leave a review because I don't want all of her spaces to fill up! Your dog will be welcomed into the fold and Annette will ask you about - and then pay attention to - their needs. She has been fostering for so long, she has literally seen everything – and can deal with everything. Teddy had a great time, and I left with new insights into her behaviors. Annette is a gem.”

“Jennifer was an absolutely amazing sitter! This was our first time leaving Buddy anywhere and she made the experience better. With daily updates and pictures of their time together, Jennifer made sure that we knew our pup was being taken care of. From the meet and greet all the way to pickup, she was extremely friendly and was able to easily answer any questions we had. If you are looking for an awesome, friendly and exceptional sitter for your needs, look no further than Jennifer. If we need a sitter for Buddy again, she will definitely be our first call!”

“Thanks Sneha for taking good care of Zeno. Zeno had a wonderful time and he totally enjoyed the stay. Timely texting of videos were very helpful and my daughter was happy that Zeno was having fun. Special thanks for accommodating Zeno. I am recommending Sneha to all my friends who have pets.”

“Greyson had a great time with Elspeth and her two pups. Elspeth was very accommodating with Greyson's needs and schedule and ensured he was well taken care of. We had a positive experience.”

“5/5 Stars – Exceptional Care for Bella! We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our sweet Bella during our trip. Dorian was great, responsive from the start, and he sent updates as soon as possible when I requested. Bella came home happy and relaxed. We definitely will book with him again in the future. If you're looking for someone who treats your dog like family, Dorian is your person, we highly recommend!”

“Glenn is fantastic—great communication, very caring and detail-oriented and was flexible on pick-up when my train was delayed for 2 hours! I will definitely be asking Glenn to watch my dog again!”

“The dogs had a wonderful time with Kacy. Kacy sent videos and pics of our puppies keeping us up to date the entire time. Communication is great and her and her husband are super nice. Will def. come back :):)”

“Ellen is a PHENOMENAL sitter. My dog was so well taken care of on her beautiful property and had friends to play with every day! Ellen provides ample updates in the form of cute little videos so you see just how happy your pup is while you're away. Highly recommend. I've already rebooked her to watch Athena the next time we're out of town.”

“Renee and Nick were fantastic! Super responsive, flexible, and accommodating with our last-minute request. It was incredibly reassuring knowing that Renee is well informed in dog psychology and genuinely passionate about understanding and supporting dogs’ behavior so everyone stays happy and healthy. We really appreciated it!”

“Our dog loves staying with Nat and Ally! She has the best time running around with their dog and they take great care of her. Thrilled to book with them again and would/will do so again in a heartbeat!”

Glenn is amazing! He took wonderful care of Ovi and made the entire experience stress-free. He is friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about the pets he watches. He is always responsive to messages, provides updates, and is ready to help whenever needed. Glenn creates a true home-away-from-home environment, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Ovi in his care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Oakley and Navea had an amazing stay with Dan over Christmas. I could tell they got tons of exercise because they were happily worn out when I picked them up. Dan was very friendly, kept us updated, and was flexible with our schedule. Highly recommend—would definitely book again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
