We got him and his brother from Alabama as kittens, and they were the best of friends until sadly, Cooper passed away suddenly last year. Cooper always woke me up every morning by laying on my chest, and now that he is gone, his brother Hendrix has started to do it in his place. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.
About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends for the past 3 years, but I have been taking care of dogs for my whole life. I have experience with dog training as I trained dogs for dog shows. I don’t mind cleaning up and keeping the space tidy. I also love sending cute pictures of your babies when they’re under my care. I have plenty of time to do dog walks or spend a day with your pet while you are out. For multiple days, it depends on the dates and how long I can be away from your pet (ex. About: I have a certificate as a vet assistant. I also have lots of experience dog sitting and even have a pet rabbit. I have taken care of younger dogs, as well as older dogs. I will be continuing my education to become a veterinary technician! I have all summer to care and love on your animals!
