I can accommodate your dog’s need easily. Your dog will be loved and taken care as my own. Your dog must be kid and dog friendly. My children are taught to be respectful to all pets. My dog is neutered and friendly (and fully vaccinated). I take with my dog two long walks morning and evening but I also leave my dog in my yard some time during the day.

(I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. Overnight sleeping in crate only.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 2 year old and 5 year old and infant. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and barn cats. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, as well as worked in animal care. Professionally, i have experience as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler. I boarded dogs while attending college in Richmond, and took a break to focus on my career. Now that I have more free time I’d like to start up again as I absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash an Australian Shephard and Littles a mutt. Both love to play!! Cash is a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 14 and recently lost his sight, he’ll try and keep up with Cash but mostly he just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy in their late twenties, too many chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. Our children have grown up with dogs of all kinds (we currently have a giant 3-year old male Great Pyrenees, a 14-year old mostly deaf female Bichon Frise, and a tiny 4 year old female chihuahua mix, who together have taught our kids how to be respectful and conscious of animals in all walks of life). That being said, for the safety of our household, we can only board dogs who are family-friendly. We are homebodies who enjoy staying in, so we are around and available nearly 24/7/365. We already care for our 3 dogs around-the-clock and would be honored to be trusted to add your dog to the mix as well. We have a fenced in yard to let dogs in and out on demand (which is already constant here anyway) and a laid back routine that can easily accommodate whatever else your pet might need. Our dogs are family members, and yours would be too for their entire stay with us. Never left alone and spoiled with attention, there isn’t a care in the world once they set foot in the door — fed, watered, walked, exercised, loved, and played with! Direct access from the house to the fenced-in backyard makes potty breaks a breeze and fresh air an easy bonus throughout the day.

While I’m home, I usually don’t have much going on other than training my own dog and volunteering at a dog training club. I will be available to walk and drop-in on your pet day or night. I will be available most weekends and weeks for consecutive services. I myself do a lot of walking, so I will be more than happy to take your dog on a nice long walk. The dog’s safety is my top priority. When outside, your dog will be under my watchful eye the entire time and on leash to ensure your pets safety unless I know it is safe otherwise to be off leash. I have a dog that loves to play with others, but if you decide that you don’t want your pet interacting with mine then that is completely understandable and can be done. I have crates available to crate your pet in overnight or if I need to step out of the house for a bit if needed. While at your house I will abide to your house rules and keep your pet both safe and comfortable while at your house.

About: My friends and family members have always called me the biggest dog person they know. I love dogs and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ll give your pup my undivided when we’re together! I specialize in walks, belly rubs, tugs of war, and treat dispensing. About: My 14-yr-olds and I love dogs but can't have one long-term right now. We have had dogs in the past and have cared for lots of animals, including horses, cats, dogs, bunnies, rodents, and reptiles. We currently have one bunny living in our home who will be kept away from your pet. My kids are responsible and gentle, and know how to behave around animals. I had dogs my entire childhood as well, and have lots of experience keeping dogs healthy, happy, and entertained. My schedule is variable, but I can generally arrange to be gone for no more than four hours at a time. I am happy to discuss my schedule for the specific days you are requesting and will tell you before you book if I will be out of the house for longer than four hours on any day you are interested in booking. Dogs will have full run of the first floor of our home, with lots of comfy places to cuddle up, and will be played with in the yard several times a day. We have a fenced yard and a dog door (which we can lock off if desired). We will respect and follow your feeding guidelines and never offer food that you haven't approved. We won't be home 100% of the time, but will not accept a booking if we can't be home at least every four hours. We will only accept dogs from one household at a time, with a strong preference for family pets. We will not accept aggressive dogs. Crating only on request and if crate is provided.

I live in a spacious three story townhouse with many outdoor areas including sidewalks, quiet neighborhoods, my backyard, grass fields, trails, and a beach to walk your pet.
