About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with childhood dogs (Lab and a Scottish Terrier) and love all animals! I'm the go-to dog sitter for both family and neighbors as we have lots of extra room in our house and hearts, along with a fenced in yard. I can't wait to treat your baby like my own! My husband works from home and can let your fur baby outside as needed and keep them company. I love to cater to your dogs needs! Whether that's a game of fetch in the back yard, going for a long walk, meeting new friends at my neighborhood dog park, or hanging out on the couch, I'm just happy to have them around! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly cat at home. He keeps to himself for the most part. I also have two children who love to play with and respect animals as much as I do!

About: I have taken care dogs and animals of all types my whole life. As a biologist I am comfortable with all types of animals and taking care of their medical needs. I am happy to do drop in visits, dog walks, or puppy train. I just relocated to MD to be with my active duty husband so other then taking care of our 4 kids I’ll have a ton of time to care for your best friend. My long, secure fence is the backbone of my safety protocol. It allows for off-leash "zoomies" and exploration without the risk of bolting. I never leave dogs unattended in the yard; I am always out there with them.

About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

I’ll give your pup my undivided when we’re together! I specialize in walks, belly rubs, tugs of war, and treat dispensing. I’m comfortable with all breeds and have forged relationships with dogs who were “challenging” at first but ended up becoming my pals. I work from home most of the time and am very flexible with my weekends, so my schedule allows for me to board dogs, watch them during the day, and take them on long walks to get their daily exercise fix. I currently work from home and can provide hands on care 7 days a week! Your pet will get frequent potty breaks and can play in my back yard. I have a fenced in back yard and a warm home with plenty of toys and treats to keep your dog occupied and happy! I also live close to a park where there’s plenty of room for exercise.

About: I have a certificate as a vet assistant. I also have lots of experience dog sitting and even have a pet rabbit. I have taken care of younger dogs, as well as older dogs. I will be continuing my education to become a veterinary technician! I have all summer to care and love on your animals! I have one week where I will be on vacation but other than that I would love to be there for your animals and provide the care and love that they need!!! I do not have a fenced yard, and I currently have a bunny too. So it would be better to be at your home or if needed I can keep them at my house and can be caged if needed to be.

About: My 14-yr-olds and I love dogs but can't have one long-term right now. We have had dogs in the past and have cared for lots of animals, including horses, cats, dogs, bunnies, rodents, and reptiles. We currently have one bunny living in our home who will be kept away from your pet. My kids are responsible and gentle, and know how to behave around animals. I had dogs my entire childhood as well, and have lots of experience keeping dogs healthy, happy, and entertained. My schedule is variable, but I can generally arrange to be gone for no more than four hours at a time. I am happy to discuss my schedule for the specific days you are requesting and will tell you before you book if I will be out of the house for longer than four hours on any day you are interested in booking. Dogs will have full run of the first floor of our home, with lots of comfy places to cuddle up, and will be played with in the yard several times a day. We have a fenced yard and a dog door (which we can lock off if desired). We will respect and follow your feeding guidelines and never offer food that you haven't approved. We won't be home 100% of the time, but will not accept a booking if we can't be home at least every four hours. We will only accept dogs from one household at a time, with a strong preference for family pets. We will not accept aggressive dogs. Crating only on request and if crate is provided.

About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. Our children have grown up with dogs of all kinds (we currently have a giant 3-year old male Great Pyrenees, a 14-year old mostly deaf female Bichon Frise, and a tiny 4 year old female chihuahua mix, who together have taught our kids how to be respectful and conscious of animals in all walks of life). That being said, for the safety of our household, we can only board dogs who are family-friendly. We are homebodies who enjoy staying in, so we are around and available nearly 24/7/365. We already care for our 3 dogs around-the-clock and would be honored to be trusted to add your dog to the mix as well. We have a fenced in yard to let dogs in and out on demand (which is already constant here anyway) and a laid back routine that can easily accommodate whatever else your pet might need. Our dogs are family members, and yours would be too for their entire stay with us. Never left alone and spoiled with attention, there isn’t a care in the world once they set foot in the door — fed, watered, walked, exercised, loved, and played with! Direct access from the house to the fenced-in backyard makes potty breaks a breeze and fresh air an easy bonus throughout the day.

About: I grew up in a household with dogs. My dogs (and your dog) are part of my family. They are included in our routine. They are loved and well taken care. I am a stay at home mom. I can accommodate your dog’s need easily. Your dog will be loved and taken care as my own. Your dog must be kid and dog friendly. My children are taught to be respectful to all pets. My dog is neutered and friendly (and fully vaccinated). I take with my dog two long walks morning and evening but I also leave my dog in my yard some time during the day.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.
