About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

I am happy to reinforce your consistency with house-training and basic manners. As a dedicated dog lover, pet care isn't a side task it’s my daily rhythm. I work from home, meaning your dog has constant companionship and immediate access to my secure, long-fenced yard for frequent "zoomies" or sunbathing. My long, secure fence is the backbone of my safety protocol. It allows for off-leash "zoomies" and exploration without the risk of bolting. I never leave dogs unattended in the yard; I am always out there with them.

About: I grew up in a household with dogs. My dogs (and your dog) are part of my family. They are included in our routine. They are loved and well taken care. I am a stay at home mom. I can accommodate your dog’s need easily. Your dog will be loved and taken care as my own. Your dog must be kid and dog friendly. My children are taught to be respectful to all pets. My dog is neutered and friendly (and fully vaccinated). I take with my dog two long walks morning and evening but I also leave my dog in my yard some time during the day.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I have been providing pet sitting services for friends and families for over 20 years. And for over 16 years, I raised dogs from puppy to adulthood. Im currently working part time so have plenty of time to play with your fur baby. I am available throughout the day to check in and walk your pets and am available for boarding throughout the week and on weekends. Your pet will have freedom throughout our row home and the fenced in yard. If they prefer their space, they will have a bedroom and floor all to themselves. If they like to make friends, we have one really friendly 7lb yorkshire terrier that would love to be their new friend. Our dog is crate trained and can be kept separated based on the client’s preference.

About: As a recently graduated high school student, I’ve taken part in numerous veterinary classes, shelter start-up programs, and many other events that advance my experience with dogs and other animals alike. To be transparent, I am looking to make a bit of money before college starts and would love to help others in need with their furry friends :)) My availability remains open all day, with 3 other people in my house. I have practice from 7-9 pm but that would be the only time I’d be away from the house. I am extremely flexible and am more than happy to bend availability for the benefit of your pets! I have a 2 acre fenced in back yard, along with two other very friendly dogs (labradors aged 8 and 12) who are more than willing to play. I am also more than happy with allowing animals on furniture if you’d like. Treats, of course, will be provided and at the ready.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: I have taken care dogs and animals of all types my whole life. As a biologist I am comfortable with all types of animals and taking care of their medical needs. I am happy to do drop in visits, dog walks, or puppy train. I just relocated to MD to be with my active duty husband so other then taking care of our 4 kids I’ll have a ton of time to care for your best friend.
