About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I’ve learned that every pup is different and deserves care that’s just as unique as they are. For the past 7+ years, I’ve also been fostering dogs through local rescues. Helping dogs transition from uncertain beginnings into loving homes has been incredibly rewarding and has given me experience with many different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. The idea of boarding dogs in my home came from a challenge I faced myself — finding a place that truly felt safe, loving, and comfortable for my own dogs when I had to go away. I wanted more than just a place for them to stay. I wanted them to feel cared for, understood, and treated like family. When your dog stays with me they will enjoy plenty of safe, supervised playtime in a large, fully fenced yard, giving them space to run, explore, and burn off those zoomies. Whether your dog loves active play or relaxing cuddle time, their comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. We’re used to having dogs around and all the activity and responsibility that comes with them, so caring for pets feels like a normal part of everyday life. When we don’t have any extras here, the house actually feels a little too quiet—like something is missing! I want every pet in my home to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I try to keep their routine and familiar comforts as much as I can—if they sleep in the bed at home, they’re welcome in the bed here; if they love curling up on the couch, that’s where they’ll be. My goal is to make their stay feel like a vacation, not a kennel stay. I want them to feel safe, relaxed, loved, and right at home while their family is away.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.

Beyond dogs and cats, I have specialized experience with the delicate needs of small animals like rabbits, and would be more than happy to care for pets of any size! I am a recent GW grad and I have a very flexible schedule. Aside from doing occasional tutoring sessions throughout the week, I am home for the majority of the day and have the time to dedicate myself to taking care of your furry friend! When caring for pets in their own space, my primary goal is to maintain their established routine exactly as they know it to minimize anxiety. When a pet stays with me, they are welcomed into a structured, highly supervised, and pet-safe environment designed to feel like a second home. I volunteer at humane societies and have experience carrying for dogs with medical and special needs. No breed or size is off limits. I have a lot of experience with small dogs. I have used rover as a pet parent and strive to be the best sitter for you. I will provide daily updates via phone, text, or email depending on your preferences. I love sending photo updates of your pet doing fun things. We have a fenced yard for your pet to play in. I offer a complimentary meet and greet before your booking to become acquainted with you and your pets. This meet and greet is important to ensure I am the right fit for you and your pets. Im currently working part time so have plenty of time to play with your fur baby. I am available throughout the day to check in and walk your pets and am available for boarding throughout the week and on weekends. Your pet will have freedom throughout our row home and the fenced in yard. If they prefer their space, they will have a bedroom and floor all to themselves. If they like to make friends, we have one really friendly 7lb yorkshire terrier that would love to be their new friend. Our dog is crate trained and can be kept separated based on the client’s preference.
