Currently working part time with a detection dog for the Baltimore Ravens so I have ample free time to watch and train your fur babies. About: I’ve been both cat and dog sitting independently since middle school, and I thought Rover would be a great opportunity while I’m in still in college! About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 2 year old and 5 year old and infant. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and barn cats. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, as well as worked in animal care. Professionally, i have experience as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler. I boarded dogs while attending college in Richmond, and took a break to focus on my career. Now that I have more free time I’d like to start up again as I absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash an Australian Shephard and Littles a mutt. Both love to play!! Cash is a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 14 and recently lost his sight, he’ll try and keep up with Cash but mostly he just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy in their late twenties, too many chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: Though I’m a cat mom now, I’ve had dogs almost all my life. I’m a huge animal lover and am willing to pet sit most other animals as well. I treat my pets like family, and would take care of yours as if they were my own. About: Hello! While I don’t have any specific training on animals I grew up with a variety of pets all my life. I’m fond of our furry companions and have learned their needs and special requirements tailored to their unique personalities. I have a lot of downtime and can provide cuddles and or distance. I’ve never struggled with any pet, I enjoy offering extra care and even have a grooming station if needed. I love to be active as well so walking wont be a problem. I work from home for now. I do have appointments throughout the week sometimes but do not take longer than 2 hours. I wake up early and sleep late for potty break needs. I’m usually done with work around 2 and can take them to a park after or on the weekends. In my home I can crate dogs if preferred or let them roam freely at my place. My apartment complex has a little dog park and plenty of walking trails around the neighborhood for exercising needs. During our outings I will avoid other pets just for safety reasons. I have my own car that can be used for emergencies or longer trips to better pet friendly parks. They can sleep anywhere they’d like. If in your home, I will carefully do exactly as you say/request. About: I have been in the pet care industry for the past 5 years. I have been relied on to walk, drop in, train, and even stay over night with pets. I fostered many dogs during Covid so many dogs have come through my door. From puppies to the ones scared of the wind, I am comfortable and understanding with many different dog types. From big to small, sweet to aggressive, I have seen and been around all. I have extensive knowledge on animal behavior and health with it being my greatest passion. I am a dog trainer using primarily positive reinforcement methods. Over the summers, I handle other people’s dogs and run them in agility. I train and compete with my own dog in Rally Obedience and placed 10th in the nation for intro to level 3 in WCRL in 2023. We just recently got our ARCHX title as well! I also can be found on Wag! With a 5 star review having over 50 completed services with happy clients and many more happy pups. I am a college student home for break doing this as a side gig trying to get some extra money for college expenses. While I’m home, I usually don’t have much going on other than training my own dog and volunteering at a dog training club. I will be available to walk and drop-in on your pet day or night. I will be available most weekends and weeks for consecutive services. I myself do a lot of walking, so I will be more than happy to take your dog on a nice long walk. The dog’s safety is my top priority. When outside, your dog will be under my watchful eye the entire time and on leash to ensure your pets safety unless I know it is safe otherwise to be off leash. I have a dog that loves to play with others, but if you decide that you don’t want your pet interacting with mine then that is completely understandable and can be done. I have crates available to crate your pet in overnight or if I need to step out of the house for a bit if needed. While at your house I will abide to your house rules and keep your pet both safe and comfortable while at your house.

About: We have owned at least 2 dogs at any given time for the past 30 years and truly believe no home is complete without at least 4 paws. Our family currently has 3 dogs, with plenty of room for furry friend visitors in our 4500 square foot house and acre-and-a-half fenced in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband works from home so we are around the house at the beck and call of our dog guests 24/7. Our children have grown up with dogs of all kinds (we currently have a giant 3-year old male Great Pyrenees, a 14-year old mostly deaf female Bichon Frise, and a tiny 4 year old female chihuahua mix, who together have taught our kids how to be respectful and conscious of animals in all walks of life). That being said, for the safety of our household, we can only board dogs who are family-friendly. We are homebodies who enjoy staying in, so we are around and available nearly 24/7/365. We already care for our 3 dogs around-the-clock and would be honored to be trusted to add your dog to the mix as well. We have a fenced in yard to let dogs in and out on demand (which is already constant here anyway) and a laid back routine that can easily accommodate whatever else your pet might need. Our dogs are family members, and yours would be too for their entire stay with us. Never left alone and spoiled with attention, there isn’t a care in the world once they set foot in the door — fed, watered, walked, exercised, loved, and played with! Direct access from the house to the fenced-in backyard makes potty breaks a breeze and fresh air an easy bonus throughout the day.
